The shop was well organized and had so much more than just comics -- from building models to artwork by local artists. It also feels like a real community space, hosting events and meetups on different nights, which makes it even more special. My child absolutely fell in love with this place, and honestly, so did I. You would be hard pressed to find a more complete comic and gaming store in the area. SELECTION: like I said before they have a great selection of stuff. It is divided into two sections so it's easy to find what you need. Comic books are very well laid out with a easy to find rack of new comics as well as bins of old comics. I really appreciated the family friendly area too. for the card section, they have both training cards and collectible card games. They carry things like Pokémon, Magic the Gathering , Lorcana, and Star Wars unlimited. But they have much more than just that. SERVICE: service was great! Overall, they are very helpful and it is well staffed. It was a little disorganized near the register, but can't really complain because of the great selection and the friendly attitude. COST: the value for what you get is right on the Mark. It is a place with reasonable prices and they stick relatively close to MSRP. The exceptions being what you would find at any other card shop. Right now Pokémon cards are through the roof, but at least here they are reasonable.

It's located in an alley way of sorts - behind Gathering Grounds and other shops directly facing the front parking lot. The first thing you notice walking in - is the super cool, close-to-life size Silver Surfer! I need one of those in my house! Tons of comics, a small amount of Dungeons & Dragons books, and some Funko Pops and other figurines. I bought an Avengers comic collection. An entire half of the restaurant was sectioned off for gaming and I saw a bunch of people sitting down and having fun. Their proximity to GMU makes this a great place to build local community. Snacks are available (thanks for the $1 water!!!) and they have clean bathrooms. Everyone was super friendly and now I have a whole list of new games I want to purchase.

For example, earlier today, I went to two closer stores and was told a box of Avatar MTG cards was over $210 ($174 on Amazon) then I went to Pair o' Dice and bought it at $180. It's spread out, so you're not cramped and you don't have to worry about accidentally knocking something over because you turned around too quickly. I really appreciated that the paper bar was fully stocked. The Paper Sources I usually frequent don't have as many color and shape options.

Basically, about 3 or 4 dozen dealers/stores setting up tables to sell their wares. Entrance is $3. I go because usually at least a few dealers are always trying to reduce their inventory or warehouse space, and are selling pretty good stuff at fifty cents or a dollar an issue. Of course, there are dealers selling higher end stuff and comic book-related merchandise (e.g. action figures, statues) if that's your thing. Sometimes they have a guest (e.g. comic book writer or artist).

He was very helpful and pleasant to be around. Much of the books are in the Korean Language, but there are many books that have both English and Korean writing. I saw comic books with Asian spreading the word of God, but doing it in a way kids through adults can understand. Oh, did I mention Hello Kitty too? Hello Kitty watches, dishwasher sets and even a sleeping bag to name a few things. If business doesn't get better for the owner here, I eventually will end up closing the store forever. The owner does sell jewelry too. Especially if you are into holly crosses. There maybe something in here for you. Seek and you shall find...

Now it's a Korean establishment with books exclusively in Korean so if you are not fluent, you will be a fish out of water. This would be a great place to shop for your Korean parents, in-laws, or kids. They got rid of their little wine bar several years ago but have expanded their children's section into a comfortable little nook that is perfect for finding your next best read. They also have the best gift selection for adults and children and tons of unique activity books (perfect for snowstorms like this weekend!). Love, love, love this shop.
