Today, January 30th, the following happened to me: I only went to get a patch on a tire because it had a nail in it, and they refused to patch it, saying my tires were in bad condition and that I was forced to buy 4 new tires from them. Had my Audi fully serviced, tires, brake pads, rotors, calipers. The price was great and done fast. But the quality was good on most of them but calipers started to rust and I took it back in to get looked at and they fixed it and painted them black for me under warranty. Great service 10/10!!! the wait for new rotors and brakes was long. customer service was good. I watched the mechanic a few times to see what was taking so long. There was nobody working on my truck after the tires were removed. the truck sat for nearly 30 minutes before the mechanic returned. But-to be fair it was busy. So I do recommend Big-O. My tires were rotated in August. Waited about an hour. The front desk workers didn't communicate with the garage workers. They couldn't locate my car after the rotation and I had to walk through the garage with two little kids to locate the car myself, it was behind the shop where the workers park. Two months later I discovered a missing lug nut on the passenger front and the drivers side front had all loose lug nuts. THEY DIDN'T TORQUE my lug nuts and the tire almost fell off! As a safety concern - I highly don't recommend. I called the shop and they denied responsibility. The guy on the phone said, "I just sell tires here." I also emailed the shop with no response. So I'm leaving a review to help others avoid a negligent shop. read more

I've spent well over $5000 at this shop and they don't even recognize who I am when I walk in. Multiple occasions I've had to take my vehicle back because it wasn't fixed correctly the first time. Took them almost a week to get the rack and pinion steering installed right. Went for a complete brake replacement front and back. Got home and the parking brake doesn't work. Took the vehicle back the next day at noon and was told they were too busy to look at it, bring it back tomorrow. My time isn't as valuable as theirs apparently? If there was a closer shop I definitely would never choose this location. Very poor customer service and poor quality work. I would not recommend this Big O location. read more

Maybe I should not rate them since I didn't get anything done BUT they did watch my van for the day. I was told they would need a "couple of hours." I arranged a ride and called four hours later. I asked what the status was and was told "let me talk to the technician who is working on it. I'll call ya right back." I called another two hours later to be told "we're just getting ready to pull it in". I know your busy but be honest. If you lie about one thing how can I trust you to tell me what's wrong. It's funny that Lana has replied to my review asking me to contact the store. I have been in constant contact with the management to be blown off for three to four months. I was finally told to pound sand they they weren't helping me anymore and that I can take whatever legal action I deem necessary. HONESTLY.... stay away from this Big O Tires location. I first started going to this location when they first opened and had great and honest service and also gave them a five star review. But my last couple visit I have been horrible and disappointing first off they broke my tire sensor and took two hours to inform me as they were trying to glue it. Then they told me they would order it and call me three weeks later I had to go in there and take care of it myself but the last visit was the last straw for me looking at my brakes with a little bit of metal on metal telling me I have warped rotors and my kind of rotors could not be turned. I purchased those rotors last break job at $350 per rotorAnd I knew dang well my rotors weren't warped because my pedal was not pulsating and BecauseI had them turned before at the dealership. read more

Such a disorganized company. I had a flat in West Valley and the Big O there put 4 new tires on. They never offered us the tire protection plan...so we paid and figured we were covered under warranty. The very next day the same back tire was flat again. They inspected it at the Big O here (after struggling to get the over-tightened lug nuts loose) and said our RIM was the issue. Shouldn't they have noticed that in West Valley???? So they sold me a new rim, and put the same tire on the new rim for free. But after he put it on he says "looks like the tire was a little damaged from driving on it flat. Hopefully it'll be okay." Okay???? Why even put it back on?! They said they'd order a new one for us if I was worried about it (they didn't have any others our size in stock). I wanted my money's worth! A brand new tire with no damage! Finally 2 weeks later they finally put the NEW new tire on and said "looks like you never got the tire protection plan. That'll be $75." Which was a "discount" because I had complained. Hundreds of dollars and almost a month later I never want to set foot in a Big O again. Perry was nice, but this whole experience has just been a hot mess. OH. AND when I went back to get the final tire they go "oh and we have your rim cap by the way. So I took my car there to get tires and oil change. Got a quote of $493 and left the car overnight to be repaired. Just picked it up was told the 493 was for the tires only. That it oil change place that's under the same roof is a separate entity and business. Wanting additional $84 for an oil change. That seems outrageous and a lot like a bait and switch. I was surprised to see the reviews on this place. I've been a few times and each time they have been great. Yes they are a little slow with the line and sometimes unorganized when busy, but they always take care of people. I just bought a used truck and the oil drain plug was stripped. I came in to shop for wheels and tires for my truck. I went up to the front desk and the girl working said she'd grab the sales guy. She found the guy after a couple of seconds and told him what I was here for and he took a look at me and told the girl to tell me to give him a couple minutes. For the next 10-15min the guy was on his computer, made some calls, basically did everything other than help me. Didn't even come up to let me know he'd be another minute, or see if I was alright. I was brushed off and ignored. No one else checked on me either, so maybe it wasn't just him but a whole staff of employees who don't care about the business that comes through the door. So, if you are interested in buying some wheels and tires for your car or truck, go a couple minutes north on Mountain View Corridor to Les Schwab because I received amazing service over there and I'm sure you will too. Really disappointed. I decided to give these folks a second chance after they made a huge mistake with our SUV and didn't have correct parts available in the time frame promised. Happened again today with my sedan. Telling me they could do my rotors and brakes in a specified time period--they ordered the wrong rotors and didn't bother to provide me with an update. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Got online made an appointment to get my tire Rotated, Oil changed, brakes, emissions. They call (Curtis) and told us that it was going to be almost 800.00 for brakes and it would take a couples hours. But he would give us the emission off. My husband went and picked our car up, and on Monday he realized that the tires hadn't been rotated, or the Emission done. He called and TALKED TO CURTIS and he said to bring it back and he would honor what he had promised. So my husband took it back in today 2-3-2021 at 3:30 pm and Curtis took our car and when it was finished he was nowhere to be found. The guy told my husband that he couldn't honor what Curtis had promised him. We have left one Big O tire because of the lies they tell. So I guess we will be finding another tire shop. came in for a tire rotation. The two attendance were extremely unhelpful. Other places will let me make an appointment to come back so I don't have to wait. These two have no motivation to help me. They basically said that to wait because two hours to get my tires rotated. I cannot stand this location. As Soon as my tires need to be replaced I will seek another company to help me. Came in for a quote. Usually don't mind paying more for convenience since this is near my house. They bid me a little over $1000 for tires in my car. Seemed a little high. They would work with me at all. I was a little surprised since I take my other 2 cars there. Drive down the street to discount tire. Similar tires $618 out the door. OK, First off this was not the first time I've had problems at this location. The manager seems to know what he is doing, however some if not all the employees either don't care or have an agendas. The first time Mysteriously they little weights on my tire seem to have gone down in size. As I watched the Tec work on my tires. I asked the manager if this is typical, knowing that a rim doesn't magically straighten out by its self. He claimed that the Tec didn't balance the machine when he came into open. I tell him that's kind of important, wouldn't you lose money on warranty's if you get brand new tire out on the road that aren't balanced right? as mine were only 3,000 mile in, so fairly new. He corrected the problem by redoing my car himself with another machine. Bottom line on that experience. Lazy employees that turned my day from 20-40 minutes to 60-75 minutes. This last time and I do mean last time as they just lost my business for good. I took my van in for rotation and balance and air check. Something they can do with their eyes closed in 20-30 minutes and even quicker if two people. Well it took me 2 hours. I first walked in and they told me it would take 45-60 minutes, OK. I had the time and I needed it done. And honestly they were busy. That isn't what did it. What did it is the fact the a lot of people have been waiting some even longer than I have and it just so happen that 2 younger and prettier girls who clearly heavy in the right places got in and out no fuss no payment. One gal even waited for 45 minutes while they did what ever to her car. The second waited about 20 minutes. Now their could be a lot of explanation for this. Warranty work on tires, flat tire, inspection etc. However 2 of the customers cars were done, finished, complete. While the staff either knew the two or fawned over the two girls to get the work done, that they forgot about the 2 customers that were done until I said something. Not only that the up sales staff was to interested in what ever was in the back office to worry about what was going on up front, even though the Tec summited the finished paper work on the desk. The only time they came up was to great new customers, take their orders and keys and flitter to the back office never to be seen. If you wish to be treated like this by all means please go hear and enjoy. If not I would strongly recommend NOT to going here at all cost. Avoid this place even if its your last ditch effort, avoid it. I will never spend another dime here, get warranty work done here, get a drink of water here. That's how much they pissed me off.
