    Zero oil registered after botched oil change at Big O

    If I could give less than a 1 star I would. After a routine oil change I went to run errands the next day. Not knowing my car had leaked oil all over the pavers in my driveway I ran out to run errands. At my next stop my car was in a lake of oil as the pavers had not allowed for pooling. I ended up having to be towed as my car had zero oil left. Major the manager lied about refunding my money for the botched oil change and promised to come to clean the pavers. It took over two weeks of calls and going back to get my refund and he still has not followed through with his promises. I would stay away from this place. Extremely poor service and customer care and support.

    Battery and fuse plate from inside car!

    Ran in for an oil change and was done as expected. Asked them to run through a fuse test for some other troubleshooting issues I was experiencing. Had them rotate the tires with the oil change and drove west on 202 and realized they forgot to put the inside fuse box plate back on and hit the brakes and the whole front end started shaking! OMG! Came out worst then prior to brining it in. Called the shop and Yamile Garcia Gonzalez who did inspection of fixes said "oh. I put it inside the engine and to look there! Idiots! Was lucky to go to Hyundai 11 miles away and didn't loose it on the freeway, but what an F---ing idiot. Not recommending this location. Use the cave creek location for another care and they are clearly more competent that this location. Got 8mm still left on brake pads and they recommended replacing them with rotors for $1200 busks! Nope! Hence now at dealership. Lastly note in picture the battery which I bought at Auto Zone yesterday and put in with them the leads are exposed and the I side cars fuse plate sitting on it! Again shitty work here. Idiots!

    Your hours on Yelp say you are open Sundays. The sign on your building says you are open on Sundays. Yet, you were not open on 10/16. Get it together.

    I don't usually take the time to write long reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves it…read more I recently visited Wheel Specialists, Inc., and had the opportunity to work with Gary, the General Manager. What stood out to me was the level of professionalism, character, and leadership Gary demonstrated throughout the entire interaction. There was a very slight misunderstanding regarding the services believed to have been paid for. Now, let's be honest--situations like that can go sideways very quickly. Most places get defensive, frustrated, or even confrontational when a customer believes they're right (even if they might not be entirely correct). I've seen it happen many times. Gary was the complete opposite. Instead of reacting emotionally or becoming demanding, Gary handled the situation with an incredible level of humility and grace. He calmly asked thoughtful questions, took the time to truly understand where I was coming from, and created an environment where the conversation felt respectful and productive--not tense or uncomfortable. That alone is rare. What impressed me even more was his patience and kindness throughout the entire process. There was zero ego involved--just a genuine desire to get clarity and make things right. You can't train that. That's character. Because of the way Gary handled this situation, it completely changed my perspective--not just about the business, but about how powerful it is when someone leads with professionalism, respect, and emotional intelligence. I actually walked away learning something from him. That says a lot. It's very clear why Wheel Specialists, Inc. has Gary in a leadership role. People like him are incredibly valuable to any organization. He represents the company at a very high level, and his approach to customer service is something more businesses should strive for. If you're looking for a place that does high-quality, scratch-free wheel work AND treats customers with respect and professionalism, this is it. And if you get the chance to work with Gary, you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about.

    I took my vehicle to Discount Tire to get four new tires. The young attendant stripped my locknut…read morekey by using a torque gun instead of a hand socket wrench. Discount Tire said there was nothing they could do, leaving me without a resolution on how to get the wheel off. The Lincoln dealership also couldn't assist, and I was sent to four different locations across the valley, including some specialists, but none were successful. Some attempted unsuccessfully, while others suggested welding off the bolts, with no guarantee of the cost or damage. After exhausting every resource in the area over a week, I contacted a friend who owns CMH Auto in Niagara. Phil found the situation ridiculous and offered to help, but it meant driving four days with three worn tires with 55,000 miles on them, a risk I couldn't take. As a last resort, teary-eyed, I pleaded with the service manager, Dave Sleater, at Wheel Specialists to see what he could do. He asked me to leave it with him, and my wife and I took an Uber home. Within the hour, he called to say it was done, and the relief I felt was incredible. After a week of frustration, I finally found my savior. When I went to pick up the vehicle and expressed my gratitude to Dave, I noticed his two cut knuckles. He said he did the work himself--it wasn't easy, going through four sockets and scraping his knuckles a few times. I've never experienced such incredible service and felt such elation because someone had the heart to help someone in dire straits. I am forever grateful.
