I have bought many tires from this location. They advertise if you buy from them they will fix the tires you buy from them free of charge. I took my Lexus to them to fix a slow leak possibly a nail in the tire. They refused to fix it stating not enough tread when there was plenty of tread on the tire. Overall: 6/10 Quality of work: 8/10 Service: 4/10 Value: 8/10 So this was a bit of a tricky situation. I ordered and paid for $1700 in new winter tires. I came in to have them installed and the employee at the front (Zack) was having what I can only explain as a not so good day and that translated into a horrible, non-existent customer service experience. In short, it resulted in me leaving after two hours and my car never being pulled into the shop. I left beyond frustrated. Having said this, the experience was slightly salvaged by the store manager (Michael) calling me to apologize and to come up with a plan to remedy the situation. He reserved a spot for me the following day at 7:30am to get me in and out with my new tires which he did. Honestly, I'm being generous with the rating here due to Michael's save but still, the experience overall still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Would I recommend this place? Got an oil change 2-2.5 weeks ago, oil pressure issues since then. Took it in and was told both the oil pressure is good as well as the oil pressure sensor and "they can't figure it out." Was given this update only when I called before close time, they did not reach out to me....clearly there's an issue with one of the 2 but that's not the real problem here. Car went in fine, left with an 8" crack in the windshield. Manager requested I bring it in "so he can see it," let him know I work this week and am unable to until the weekend. I asked next steps after he saw it and was given "I don't know. I haven't seen this happen in 30 years, checking sensors and pressure wouldn't do this." Repeatedly asked how this would be handled, received only denial it was his staff and "I don't know." Tried to tell me the car didn't even enter shop doors when I saw it being pulled in when I left. Told me district manager would reach out, but couldn't even give a time frame as to when. Front desk attendant Dylan was telling lady in front of me how everyone is quitting because of how awful the place was. 3 employees left in the last week, his last day was today. Maybe an employee getting a last laugh on the way out? Agreed that there's no reason this should happen when checking oil pressure...and again will note no resolution, "we couldn't figure it out" when car was perfectly fine before their oil change. read more

When traveling across the west, I developed brake noise in Nevada which finally got so bad that I stopped into a Big O location in Grand Junction to get them fixed. Unfortunately, they did not have a needed part and I would have had to wait several days for repairs. I was going to Colorado Springs area, so I decided to baby it over the mountains. On the way, I called Big O here and talked to Jeff. He told me to bring it by before 6 and he would order parts and they would fix it the next morning. I arrived at quarter to six and Jeff did as promised. Parts arrival was delayed in the morning somewhat due to circumstances beyond their control, but as soon as they arrived, they fixed the brakes and I was on my way shortly. Michael, the new manager (less than 2 months) is one of the worst customer service people I have come across in many - many years. Tried to upsell my daughter on 4 new tires (She just purchased these tires a couple months ago and had a sidewall blow out in a pothole) and then when I questioned him he raised his voice and started calling me names. My family has spent tens of thousands of dollars at this store and will not spend another dime there until this guy moves on. In fact, probably won't spend any more at Big O tire. Great job Mike. Well, first off by saying save your time and skip this establishment. I can't believe how unorganized it is. I had a 10am appointment to swap out my tires to my tires already ready to go in trunk just a balance. Went grocery shopping for 45min.. now 45 min into appointment we get back and all they did was put plastic on my seat. Mind you I was walking outside and it was silence coming from the bay with two people talking. I really hope management and corporate reads this. Took the car in to swap out tires. It cost more than other retailers, but my schedule wasn't flexible, so I went with Big O. They swapped out my tires, which was uneventful. Then said I needed to exchange my brake fluid, that my cooling system needed repair, all four shocks/struts needed replacement, fuel system needed flushed, and an axle needed replacing. I had the cooling system and brake fluid flushed already in the last 60 days. The car drives like a dream with absolutely no issues with the suspension and nothing is leaking anywhere. I had another mechanic look at the axle and he said it was good. That's over $3000 of unnecessary repairs, that were "safety related and needed to be accomplished TODAY"! I don't know where my review went but I'm going to let you know what a poor shop this Big O is. On one occasion I took my wife's car in for an oil change. I told the service rep that I was crunched for time as I had to get to work soon. He said "no problem" and quoted me a time of 45 minutes. At 45 minutes I saw that the car had not even been attended to. I asked about it, and the rep assured me it would be done asap. At an hour and fifteen minutes the car was still not done and I had to leave for work. Here a month or so ago my wife took the car in for an oil change and told them we'd like a heavier weight and high milage oil. My wife paid the extra money for this upgrade, but when she picked the car up she noticed the paperwork said 5W30. She asked about this and was told that the upgraded oil was actually used. Weeks later the car ran out of oil because the heavy weight oil was NOT actually put in the car. Sorry Miguel, "honest and straight forward" they are not! Big O Tires should stick to tires. But even then I wouldn't trust them. read more

Les Schwab told me I'd have no option but to replace all 4 and quoted me $1200 without budging. Tim Gauden and his team (Jeremy) at Big O made no less than 1/2 dozen calls to FIND my tire. They treated me respectfully, expedited the process and I was so ecstatic over the service that I bought ALL 4 tires even though I didn't need them right at this moment (but would have soon). In less than 90 minutes I was out the door. And for roughly $500. I'll never shop tires anywhere else. read more

I'd like to start off by saying I've put off writing this review for months because I'm not one to slander a company. Until today I was ready to just write it off and simply stop going back to the Monument location. But, today was my last straw. For the longest time, my family would use this Big O for all of our tire needs... that will never be the case again. Years ago they had a change of management and they started quoting us for services that were completely unnecessary, so we started only going for small services (flat repairs, maybe an oil change here and there, etc). A few years ago I decided to give them a second chance and buy two sets of tires, one for my vehicle and one for my partners. I scheduled the first appointment of the day and hours later I called to see if my vehicle was ready for pick up, I was informed that they were just about to pull it in... although annoying I shook it off. Finally, I get a call saying it's ready for pick up and they asked if I wanted a realignment. I asked if it was necessary and was informed that they would call me with the results so I could get a quote and make a decision. Come to find out, they just did it without calling me back and of course charged me. I do realize that you should be realigned after getting new tires, but I also know of places that can do it cheaper. After a lot of back and forth I decided to cancel the second set of tires and decided to leave it alone and come back the following day when the manager was in. The manager was very helpful, but I still didn't want to follow through with the second set after how rude the tech was the day prior. Fast forward to the present, I was only going for flat repairs and rotations. The last time I took my vehicle in for a rotation I was informed that both sets of brakes had warn at the same pace (which anyone who knows about brakes knows this never happens) and that both were at 2mm and was told I needed to change them right away. So of course, just out of curiosity I asked for a quote. They quoted me $2,300 and said that was a "standard price" for brakes. Mind you, that was only for the brakes, not brakes and rotors. I said I would pass and get a second opinion. Of course, they didn't like that answer but couldn't stop me from doing this. Come to find out, my front brakes were at about 3mm and the rear were completely fine. When getting the front brakes changed out it was observed that the lugs were never fully tightened and they had cross thread a nut on both sides. Now, I'm at a separate Big O in Aurora getting a flat repair because I refuse to go back to the Monument location and come to find out they cross thread a lug on this tire too! So, that's another $130 to have a new lug and nut put on! And I'm sure I'll have the same issue with the final tire whenever I get the tires rotated. Do yourself a favor and never go to the Monument Big O location! Especially if you're looking for some honest work to be done. This place will nickel and dime you and mess up your vehicle! If you find yourself having to go to this location, be sure to either do your research or bring along someone who knows about vehicles. read more

I got new tires and the tire shop recommended to have an alignment check. I drove the car for 5 days before taking it in for an alignment check. No problems with pulling or steering wheel not being level. I went to Big O Tires in Monument, Colorado. They check the alignment and the before measurements show it is way out of alignment in the toe. They aligned it and the after measurements show all good back in spec. I drove it away and the steering wheel is not level and it is pulling badly to the right. I go back, they tested again and they said yes it is pulling to the right. We will redo it. Same thing, they check the alignment and the before measurements show it is out of alignment in the toe. They aligned it and the after measurements show all good back in spec. Take it home and it is pulling to the left. They did tell me to bring it back if I have any problems. How many times do I have to take it in to get it right.? I call another shop to have it checked first thing in the morning. To my surprise, (Not really) It is still out of alignment in the toe. I had it aligned by the new shop. I went back to Big O Tires, I showed them all the alignment paperwork and they refuse to give me my money back. They said they are willing to check it again but the money back is not going to happen. I think I cannot let them touch my car again. I think they had two chances to do a good alignment and they could not deliver. I walked away and I told them I would dispute the charges with my credit card and they did not care. Great customer service.!!! I wish I culd post the computer alignment paperwork for all the three alignments. Two from the Big O Tires shop and the last one from another shop. After the third alignment, I drove it away with no pulling and the steering wheel is level. To confirm that Big O Tires have an alignment machine problem or a technician problem or maybe I never had an alignment issue in the first place. I would NOT recommend this shop at all. read more

Smooth! I started going to Big O for their special on Cooper Discoverer tires and they have been my Go-To Tire Guys ever since. Bo, my service agent, knows his stuff and is always courteous, friendly, and helpful. Most recently, they replaced a flat (get the full coverage warranty, it's worth it!) and it's like they tuned up the entire Jeep! Runs smooth and true,even at highway speeds. Very satisfied. Only drawback is that they do get busy from time to time, but the wait is worth it. Great customer service in an age where that's becoming increasingly hard to find! read more

Got a free tire rotation in the mail so I decided I'd give Big O Tires in Monument Colorado a try. Well the tires were rotated properly, however the car was left dirty by the person who did the work. He had grease all over his hands and all of his clothes, he sat in my car and got my door handle, steering wheel and shifter dirty with his grease, and while I was there there was a terrible argument with workers being frustrated and angry and cursing at their managers. The waiting room was dirty and unkempt and the satellite TV didn't work. So all in all although the work was done successfully the experience was pretty bad. read more

These guys are helpful, but their prices seem to be off. For example, they are charging twice the price to mount and balance tires as Discount Tire right down the street. Same issue with tire prices. I called around to a few different places for prices on Braces and Rotors. I've gone to many other Big O Tire locations over off Stetson Hills and Powers and in Denver and they're usually awesome. I decided to go with them because they had the cheapest prices. I called to double check that they weren't busy and the guy said to come on down. When I got there they were sooo busy. As I was walking in I heard some of the workers in the garage yelling at each other and were very upset about something. 5 people were waiting in the waiting area for their cars to be done and the place was really dirty. The trash in the lobby hadn't been changed it looked like and had no trash bag was in it. The guy at the counter looked at me like "please don't ask us to do anything" instead of saying hello. I asked politely if they were busy and he said they were slammed and could not see me and to try to bring my car back in a few days. He was very overwhelmed and I know that people do not typically do the best work when they are upset including myself and I did not want the work done today while the men in the back were so upset. I also would have appreciated if the guy on the phone told me they were busy and that it wouldn't have been the best time. . read more

For at least 9 years I brought my car(s) to Big O here in Monument. I bought all my tires from them whether snow or all season tires, changing my tires at least twice per year. I also had major repairs done when a pothole ate a tire several years ago. This year, they sold my tires that they required a deposit on to order, then lost their record that I paid a deposit, sold the tires to someone else even though I had made an appointment, and did not care that I asked for my deposit back. So, I went to Les Schwab instead. As a result, they lost over $3200 business from me in the past 6 months. Their turnover of staff is terrible, and the store is so dirty and uncomfortable that I hated to wait in the store while getting new tires, or tires rotated, or oil changes. I do not recommend Big O to anyone anymore. I now recommend their competitor. read more
