I bought a Groupon for $40 basic oil change went in the next day and they told me they can't put conventional oil in my car. I explained that I had the Groupon and they AGREED to apply the Groupon to a synthetic blend oil change which is usually $70 so I'd pay the difference of $30. When they finished the service they told me my total was $90 with the coupon applied... so you're telling me the total was $130! BS! I got my receipt and they supposively took off only $28 which still means that my real total would've been $118... but I paid $130 between the Groupon and the service. Avoid going here at all costs! It really sucks being scammed because I'm a young girl. read more

I have been a faithful Jiffy Lube customer for the past 25 years. Out of convenience I found myself at the Jackson Creek Jiffy Lube. The guys were awesome, they addressed all of my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure everything was good to go. Being a disabled 57 year old it makes my life so much easier knowing that I can just pull in and everything will be taken care of. They have never tried to over sell anything, they actually went out of their way to keep my cost down. I've been here a few times now and the professionalism is steady. I've read many of the other reviews, some not so good. I'm sorry if that was indeed your experience but I can assure you that the current crew is one of the best I've dealt with. read more

Preformed a routine oil change, didn't tighten anything properly. Same day, almost all the oil in my truck was empty and leaked all over my engine. I had to go to the closest please to get it resolved and cleaned up. I left messages about it happening the same week attempting to reach anyone that could just issue me the refund for just the oil change and never a response or an apology. I reached out to corporate and they continued to state that they are individually franchised and I'm SOL. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years, this was my first time at this location, never plan to return to any again. Had my oil changed at Monument Jiffy Lube yesterday. They also topped off the cooling system. We went for a drive in the mountains today and the engine overheated. When I had it checked , the cooling system reservoir cap was cross threaded and only on halfway if that. We are not happy with the service. read more

No response from their Corporate Franchise office in Utah regarding our car that went in for a routine oil change with my daughter...she was charged almost $500 for various charges that were not price quoted or explained for brake fluid, power steering fluid exchange (not just topped off like she assumed) and coolant flush for $175 itself...oh and air filter not even price estimated for over $50...really?? They saw a younger female customer and thought let's make some easy money. She did know enough to say no to ALL NEW BRAKES they told her she needed also. Well, the car was driven by Dad 5 miles on Sunday after Jiffy LUBE GM supposedly checked things over for safety of our daughter and grandson...thank goodness they took my car 2 hours home or they would have been stranded because Dad drove the car another 12 miles on Monday and it was out of oil, stopped running on Jackson Creek Pkwy with the engine seized up! We had it towed to another shop and it was missing the oil filter! What a mess and now we are without a car!! Welcome to Monument...DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO JIFFY LUBE! I came in a couple months ago to get my oil changed and I was told I need to replace my front brake pads. The mechanic quoted me $800 just for front brake pads and brake fluid. Because of the insane cost I've put it off. My boyfriend just went there today and was quoted under $200 for the same service. If you're a woman never go here alone it's insane the level that they tried to take advantage of me. Go to brakes plus if you need to get brake pads changed they quoted $149. I'm so disappointed that a big corporation like this tried something this disgusting. read more

This location at Jackson Creek Parkway in Monument Colorado is a mess and I hope someone can fix it. I have been there a number of times in the past and received fair to good service at a reasonable price. I took my Toyota Tacoma for an oil change last week, and they refused to do the oil change. The representative of your company claimed there was a massive oil pan gasket leak and he was doing me a favor to give me information on a local mechanic to have it fixed. I took my truck to the dealership and there was NO OIL LEAK. The representative at the Toyota Dealership said that if the oil filter is in a difficult location, many of the Jiffy Lubes in town will refuse to try and change it. WOW I thought. I bought the 3 oil change pack from the dealer for $90 and will have the oil in my truck changed at the dealership. TODAY, my wife went to the same location as we know that the 2011 Honda is an easy oil change. She was harassed for other services and when she declined, they charged her $66 for a standard oil change. That is insane. I would normally just never do business with this kind of company again but I want to give management the benefit of doubt and hope you will fix the personnel issues at this location. Denied service, over charged, extremely rude, demanding payment for services not given. I have a 2016 Subaru that I normally take to a local Subaru specialist, however, I was going on a road trip and noticed that I was overdue for an oil change. I took it to Jiffy Lube and was told during the inspection process that it was found that my front brakes were "grinding into the rotor" and because my front brakes do "80%" of the cars braking that it was a "serious" safety concern and that I should do the brakes and rotors with them that day. I found this odd as I had recently had my brakes serviced, and was not hearing any grinding that would indicate my brakes were in poor condition. I declined and took the car to my local and honest mechanic as soon as I got back. As I suspected, nothing wrong with my brakes. DO NOT GO HERE unless you like being ripped off. I only gave one star because you can't give no stars. This shop is run by thieves. read more

I hate being Debbie Downer for Jiffy Lube's first review, but unless they change their business practices they won't be around very long. This morning my wife and I dropped in to simply get an oil change. The overly "helpful" salesman was like a BB in a boxcar. He was over the top hyper, talked like the Micro Machines man, and at every turn tried to up-sell us. The service that was promised to be 7-10 minutes turned into 25, which made us miss an appointment (I was quite clear with him that we had places to be). While we waited the salesman tried to convince us to get a new air filter, and pay to have our coolant topped off. Prior to heading to Jiffy Lube my wife called to see if they would price match coupons from other local businesses. The gentleman who answered the phone was evasive. We asked our salesman about this and he laughed when he saw the $14.99 coupon from Big O. He said there was no way they could do that. He then claimed that "those types of shops" are nothing but a "bait and switch", and that they'd try to sell us a bunch of services. Hmmm... Came in for a standard oil change. When I got back I not my car my carpet was stained with a big greasy boot foot print and other markings from dirty boots. The handle was also greasy. When I brought to technicians attention all he said was sorry about that. No problem offer to clean up. No pride in work. I will not be back. read more

I came in a few weeks ago for an oil change about an hour from closing. I was greeted with an annoyed worker who did not seem eager to fit another car in for the day, although there were no other customers. It was clear that they raced through the process. When I got my car back, I noticed that they had cleaned all my windows with dirty water and rags, so they were all smeared with slimy dirt and looked significantly worse than before. When I got home, I noticed they left an oil change wrench stuck to the bottom of my car that had just been dangling the entire way home. On my date of service sticker, they used the trip odometer reading instead of the total miles and just added a zero to the end, so it is now difficult to see how many miles I have driven between oil changes. Highly disappointing experience. read more

I've recently decided to start writing reviews when my experience is not at all consistent with prior reviews. I've had my oil changed here twice and both times I found the staff to be friendly and professional. It's hard to say they "up sell" you when they show you the the manufacturer recommended service on their computer and then tell you what they charge to do them. What else would you expect them to do? If you don't want them done, just say "no thanks." I did. Simple. Regarding the time estimate, I think it was about right. It may have taken 5 minutes longer, but maybe thats because they checked the rear differential fluid as was recommended ... it was fine. Overall I think it's a nice place to get an oil change. I've been to this Jiffy Lube location a few times, and things were ok, until last weekend. I took my husband's car in, had the oil changed, drove it the 2 miles home, and when he started it up to go to work that night, the garage filled with gas fumes and it ran very rough/almost stalled. Had it towed to our mechanic, who after inspecting it, discovered that they hadn't put the air filter back in after removing it for the oil change. So an oversight meant we were without a family car for 3 days, plus the charge from the mechanic. I've reached out to Jiffy Lube now twice, and no response to emails or voicemail. Very disappointed- a semi overcharged but convenient oil change turned into a major fiasco, rented car, mechanic bill, and nothing to make it right. read more
