Do not trust these mechanics. This past November, I was having issues with myout of state 04 ford f150 5.4l that was experiencing issues. I looked into it myself and told them I suspected the VVT solenoid. Five hours later, I go to call and they tried quoting me engine work and 500 dollars plus to even look at my engine to verify and then he was trying to sell me a new engine. Claimed "it was looked at by four master technicians " Apparently their "master technicians " are less qualified to diagnose than a me, a regular bystander because as soon as I changed out the solenoid...it not only drove. But it drove 2,580 miles to California and then to Seattle. It not only drove 2,580 miles, but it did so towing almost a 4,000 lb trailer. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR BUSINESS! I was an inch from giving up my dream of moving to the PNW because this money hungry auto repair would've caused me to sell my set up since I didn't have alot of money! read more

We took our Ram 1500 truck here for routine maintenance and oil change. We had over $3000 worth of work done and within a day our truck engine seized and had a catastrophic failure leaving us stranded on the side of the road. We were put in a position to pay over $15k for a new engine which we deemed not to do furthermore forcing us into purchasing a new vehicle. We requested a full refund on the work that had been done and were denied that request. We were offered 3 free oil changes which we politely declined as this is not an appropriate alternative to losing a truck that had low mileage on it. We will never have our cars serviced here again and have shared this information with all of our family and friends. read more

We were headed out of town for Thanksgiving when my truck coils decided to go out. We were broken down on the side of the highway and had my truck towed to Aspen Auto. Their team (Derek) was able to get me back on the road to see our family by the end of the day, even driving to a local parts shop to get additional parts for me. The repairs were priced great and their customer service is above and beyond - something you don't see a lot of these days. read more

This place is a bit ridiculous. I called to get an approximate price on an oil change and they indicated they wouldn't even give me a ballpark until they could run my VIN. I called three other places who were happy to give me an estimate based on the year, make and model. They lost my business because they could not answer a simple question that's an industry standard. Reminds me of the auto shop my dad used to run Excellent customer service at JJ Tracks! My 2011 Jeep Wrangler had both rear axle seals leaking pretty badly - Brakes plus quoted me upwards of $1000-1100 to do the work. After calling around JJTracks did a fantastic job and was MUCH cheaper that Brakes Plus! Very professional and quality service! They even conducted a courtesy check of other minor items (wiper blades and oil level) with no pressure to have them fixed - more of a courtesy inspection and recommendation to have addressed. Believe I have found my repair shop for any future auto related issues! read more

if I could give no stars I would, I bought my 2016 Chrysler 200 from a friend and took it to aspen to run a check on it. I was told that the acidity level in my coolant was at a 6.5! So I took it over to Facinelli's where they told me nothing was wrong with it and Booby at monument auto told me that for my car and it's mileage I have about 20,000 more miles to go before that should be a problem. Aspen Auto Clinic is an absolute scam and tried to get me to pay $100 for something I in no way needed. 0/100 stars read more

WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLASSIC CAR HERE These clowns could not even remove a transmission pan but succeeded in giving my vehicle a massive transmission leak. Literally two weeks later and I am going to be forced to REPLACE MY TRANSMISSION. Only telling me afterwards that they could not purchase the parts needed to repair the leak that THEY CAUSED and stated that I would need to go to a junk yard to find the part and that basically I am shit out of luck. This place acts like some kind of family run hometown business but I can assure you as a Monument local myself they are just in it for the $$$. I can NOT recommend this place UNLESS you yourself are skilled mechanic and can cut through the layers of BS these clowns will try to sell you and overcharge you for. read more

BELIEVE THE ONE STAR REVIEWS after multiple weeks of waiting to hear about my 4x4 i was given a laundry list of "urgent issues" totaling in around 10k. I denied the services and upon leaving with my car found it was way worse than before leaving me with a wheel wobble that didn't exist when i brough it in. After taking it to a long time family mechanic we were informed that none of the "urgent" work was required and everything was about 5x overpriced. Upon removal of the shaky wheel found extra peices that j&j claimed was from "another shop". After removal the wobble ceased. I have a review on FB and will answer any DMs to prevent this from happening to others. I'm a monument local and hate that is business like this has infiltrated our small town. They were recently bought and can no longer be trusted. read more

I've been going to JJ Tracks since the 90's and always received good service but after several incidents I felt it necessary to write this negative review. 1. I brought in my F150 because it was running rough, after leaving the vehicle there for the day I was told it had a warped intake manifold and along with the spark plugs would need to be replaced to the tune of approximately $3,000. I got another opinion and was told it didn't have a warped manifold and after a few adjustments I was on my way. I continued to drive the truck another 10,000 miles and traded it in for another vehicle. 2. My Honda Civic needed service because the key was shot. I asked for two new keys and fobs for replacement. Keys, programming, and fobs can be expensive so I was quoted a price of of over $300. When I went to pick up the vehicle all they did was clean the barrel and didn't provide me with any new keys, fobs, or batteries for the old fob. All they did was give me my old key back and tried to charge me over $200. After I complained they agreed it was outrageous and cut the cost. Today the key fell apart, the battery in the fob is dead and I need to pay to start the process over again with someone else. 3. My Honda wouldn't start and I couldn't jump it so I had it towed to JJ Tracks and was told it was a battery. The battery was only three years old. They threw away that battery and charged me $200 for a new one. The car died the next week because it was the starter, not the battery. So I threw away a perfectly good battery because they misdiagnosed again. I asked for a quote to replace the starter with a rebuilt one and it was $160 higher than the shop down the street. I had it towed out of JJ's parking lot and never looked back. read more

I paid them to mount and balance directional snow tires which they did promptley. Brought the tires home and they were not placed on the rim in the right direction. Took the rims/tires back and they fixed the issue with a poor attitude. Well... I get them home, place the snow tires on the car and drive the car. Guess what? The did not balance the tires. Took the tires back and they made me wait as I was a new customer then tried to charge me to rebalance the tires. Are you kidding me? Never a metion of sorry for your loss of time or a reimbursment for their mistakes. If they cannot mount and balance a tire right what can they do right? Save your time and money and look elsewhere. read more

I don't usually write reviews, however I really have to this time. JJ Tracks is not just good, they are like family. We have had all of our cars serviced there since about 2 years after they first opened. They have done everything, big and small. Prices have been fair, and the explanations of the problems have been complete. Sam, Dave, Rob, they are all good and knowlegable and have had many years in the business . Today, I picked up my car that their codes told them it was a tranny problem and they referred me to a tranny shop. They had spend a lot of time diagnosing the problem. They spent a lot of time talking to me about possible options with this situation, cars that they thought were reliable etc. I can tell you that they really care about their customers, and it seems like money is secondary. And yet I know that the car repair business is not an easy one to run. read more

Great guys. They took care of my mom's truck and suv for 30 years. Never feel pressured, always feel like they want you to be informed about what is happening or needs to be done. In the rare event something isn't right when you leave they are 100% responsive to fixing it and insuring everything is good to go. This business totally misdiagnosed my car and let me drive off. The next day I took my car back and David berated me for needing tires, which were not even at the wear bar. After finally getting him to go on a ridealong David acknowledged the front end noise that I had been complaining about. He still yelled at me for putting my family at risk and sent me off. A mile later on the highway the tie rod broke and i had to have it towed to a real repair shop. They are just a tire store. read more

I've been a customer of JJ TRACKS for over 10 years. Their customer service has always been second to none. On a personal level, as a customer, they've treated me like family. Rather than being identified as "Mr. ___", or by your vehicle or service being rendered, I am respectfully called by my first name, and always welcomed with a smile. *Recently, we had a family crisis that required me to drive through two states; and, I needed an "emergency" oil change and overall check to ensure a safe journey. Despite showing up at around 15 minutes to closing, they were kind, empathetic, and compassionate; thereby, immediately caring for my vehicle, despite any inconvenience. On a professional level, they are honest individuals who go above and beyond in caring for my, all too many vehicles. I've found their prices, overall, to be both reasonable, and competitive. - I am confident that I can leave my vehicle's health/maintenance in their trustworthy hands. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience: first off the labor charge was outrageous they wanted $250 to install a $40 part ( appx. 5 minutes of work) which we later found out didn't even fix the problem- had we paid that, we would been out several hundred dollars. They charge over $100 to diagnose- which in our case was wrong. read more

Unfortunately our experience was far below the acceptable level. We had a flat tire on the freeway and this was the closest place to go for. The guy in the shop (oldish, bearded one) was extremely rude with us. Maybe we looked like cheap guests, but to tell the truth: this was our first flat tire situation after a while, so we were hesitating after getting know about the price ranges. Right after this, we were told: he is doing a favor for us and don't charge anything for the tire inspection, however we have two choices: we either do our spare tire change ourselves (I was with my 7-month pregnant wife, btw) or pay the guy in the back for it, in cash (of course). After asking him about an ATM close by, he directed us to a SevenEleven in the middle of nowhere, however there was a bank brunch right in front of the shop! The guy in the back was nice (that's the only reason I gave 2 starts) and didn't want to accept money. You guys might do a great job, but sorry man... This is not the way you should talk to first time customers. read more

Well, maybe all of the good press has gone too far. I took my car in for a front end alignment and transmission flush. The young man told me I would get a complimentary oil change. I said great. I asked how much for the trans flush and he said that given the age of the vehicle (1999) they wouldn't do a flush but rather they would drop the pan, change the filter and fill with trans fluid and it would run about $125. I said fine and asked when he estimated it would be finished. He said about midday 12 to 1pm the next day. I said fine. The next day at 1:30 pm I stopped by and asked for a status. I ws told that they hdn't done the trans service yet and it would be $225-250. I said to skip it. They said it was getting the oil change and would be ready soon and they would call. At 3:30 I went back. They said it would be $30 some dollars for the oil change. I said the service writer said it was free with the other service. They said what other service? I said I had brought it in specifically for a front end alignment and had also asked for trans service. They said there was no indication of a front end alignment. I said the specific reason it was there was for the alignment. They said they were sorry and didn't know what had happened. I asked if it took all day for the oil change and they said that if there are no notes they work the oil changes as they can. I responded that I didn't write the ticket and I had trusted their service writer to do whatever they required to get the job done in a professional manner. The service writer said that I could leave the car for an alignment but it would be pushing it. I said since I couldn't trust them to t do the right thing the first time, why would I trust them to do it correctly a second time? The service writer did apologize for the mistake. The owner walked past twice looked at us and never stopped to try to fix the problem or indicate that he even cared. I think their time has passed and I suggest that anyone needing repairs also pass on JJ Tracks. read more
