In any event, I digress. Discount Tire has been my go-to place for many years for replacing and repairing my truck tires. They have always been available when I need them, have had exceptional customer service, and have great deals and warranty options. Being so close to the mass holiday exodus that happens every year at this time in Corpus, I was afraid I was not going to be taken care of properly and timely. That was not the case today! I called ahead, and their representative, Jonathan, had my back from beginning to end. He assured me they could get me in, get my tire replaced and have me on the road as I had originally planned. They didn't have the Michelin tires we needed in stock, but promised they could have them for us first thing Monday morning. We shopped around to see if we could find a dealer who had the right tires in stock. Went to two national chain tire shops, and the car dealer. No one could get the tires for us sooner than Tuesday, so we went back to Bañuelos. They ordered the tires and told us to come first thing Monday morning. The tires were in as promised, and they were able to accommodate our tall RV in their garage. Service performed was great and on time. Price paid including installation was competitive with the other shops. Felt better giving my business to a local independent shop rather than a big chain. Well they finished up our car and we went on our way. While we were on the highway, our car started annoyingly vibrating on the highway, so we turned back around and told the guy that it's vibrating. They did I don't know even know what to the tires and sent us on our way again. We go on the highway and the car started vibrating again but even worse! So we had to turn back around, waste more gas and tell them that it's still vibrating. They took it back in and change the tires again. Then again, we were on our way. We get back on the highway and what do you know, ITS STILL VIBRATING!! at this point it was already late and they were already closing. We had a long day at work and had to deal with this mess on top of it. I trusted these people with my car and they let me down. NEVER AGAIN! Now I'm taking my car to a professional to fix their mistake! Wasted my gas, time and money. Left that place with a problem we didn't have before.
