Absolutely wonderful experience! We were on a trip and got a flat tire. We barely made it before closing. Every employee we spoke to was kind and didn't make us feel rushed even though they were closing soon. They replaced the tires quickly. We were so thankful! Not even a tiny impact on our vacation time! read more

The service is over the top. Fast and pleasant. All the employees are always nice and knowable. This is the only place to get your tires. I give a shout out to Trey Mendoza. This young man is amazing. God bless you all. read more

We had to come over from the island due to a low tire pressure warning on our truck while here on vacation. We were helped by multiple people. Wyatt helped replace our tire valve stem quickly. We were able to be on our way in less than 20 minutes. The employees here are very kind and helpful! Highly recommend this location. read more

Always friendly and fast service. We bring all our vehicles here and have done so for years.

This may be the best business I've ever dealt with. I've been to a number of locations and for varying degrees of emergency- they always take care of me and usually get me out before the estimated time. Love the new appointment on the app. At this location Josh did a great job and got me out before the predicted time. Highest recommendation for this location and Discount Tire overall read more

I took my car in for tires. And they said they would give me windshield wipers. Apparently when they were putting on the windshield wiper they broke my windshield. When I got home I had a flat tire on my rear tire and all of my tire alarms were going off. But I took my car back the next day and they fixed the tire no charge. When I was on my road trip and discovered my windshield wiper on the passenger side was in pieces on my window and not installed properly and that my windshield was cracking from the passenger side where they installed a new windshield wiper and called them they said they would fix it. And they are going to do that. So they still behind their job. I admire that. I may have given them a bad rating before I realized that they would stand behind their work. If so ignore my review. read more

I had to get my tires replaced and a leakage taken care of when I went in. It costed me 275, and all it took was 45 minutes. People were nice, quick, and price wasn't outrageous. read more

Always have a good experience. They also fill your tires for free. But, although not required, don't forget to tip.

We were returning from a weekend getaway from Port A when I got a flat tire, called several other tire shops and they didn't have any slots for us. We explained our situation and that we still have hundred of miles to go to reach home but all the other shop couldn't accomodated us. We called this shop and explained our situtation to Randy and he helped us, gave us a good deal and did not rip us off. Too bad we don't live in Corpus Christi otherwise we would have been loyal customers for life. read more

Incredible service especially after dealing with the poor service at the VW dealership. Connor and Edgar really made it an easy choice and my car was done getting 4 new tires within 35 minutes. Would definitely recommend read more

I never write reviews but had to make sure & commend the ones who are helping me at this Discount Tire location. We had a death in our family just this morning & want to be with family as soon as possible. We came here to get the tires air checked & Jason informed me that for safety reasons one of the tires would need to be replaced. He knows we are headed out of town but does not know why. It is super packed right now but he told us that he could get us ahead of the people waiting & get us out in 40 mins. Thank you Jason your guys are working hard & fast & you have no idea how much this means to us right now! I will always come back here! Thanks again! read more

Went to the store located in 4040 S. Padre Island Dr. - Corpus Christi, because a Flat Tire. Without any Inspection, the representative slips out a comment: "You may need a new tire", I ask him why? since the tire only have 10.000 miles and a puncture in the tire is something common to repair. After dismounting tire from the wheel, and upon inspection by the "expert" they come with the same conculusion: you need to buy a new tire, that cost $250. I ask to see the damage, I had been driving for the last 40 years, and surely enough my fair number of flat tires. Gotcha, upon my inspection, I saw the puncture in the very middle of the tire, thats is the fair place for repairment, but then they started telling me that this puncture was big enough to represent a safety risk and bla, bla, bla, the normal RIP OFF that they always try to slip on you. I took my car to a Pops and Moms garage, and they fixed by $30. This big corporations are rotten to the bone, trying to scam a 57 years old guy that have been riding an driving almost his entire life. At least by now you must be learn who to try to scam. read more

Went to have Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS) light on checked. Tech checked tires and found 1 sensor dead, 2 low on battery and 1 OK. He said 1 had to be replaced but 2 low bat should be and all replacement recommend. I would decide and come back. Went back next day to have one sensor replace and stated previous diagnosis. Different Tech checked sensors and confirmed. Stated that just replacing the dead one that the Car TPMS warning would not clear, all needed to be replaced. Total BS read more

The staff is friendly and helpful but beware of shady practices: my car CLEARLY states a recommended tire PSI of 32, but both times I've left this place (initial purchase and puncture repair) I checked to find the tires inflated to 40PSI. Looking to wear out tires quicker is pretty crappy. read more

Went in at two. Was told to come back at 3 and my car would be ready at 4. I didn't want to be the reason it was late so I left my keys and waiting. A handful of other people came in between 3 & 4. And their vehicles were serviced before mine. They actually pulled my vehicle In Then pulled it right out for someone else who had an been there for 15 minutes even though I had been there since 2pm. Only thing the man behind the counter could say was idk. Sorry. We are busy. I understand busy. I don't understand incompetence. read more

John Alex and Jason really helped us with our tire situation so I def recommend this location.

I went to get new tires this morning (a Saturday!) and expected to not get my car back for hours. I was pleasantly surprised when I was in and out in 30 minutes. Good crew, honest. They are professional, and listen to the customer. Prior to a road trip, I had them check my tires for air pressure and tread depth, which is free. Heavy rains were forecasted, so I was concerned about hydroplaning. Rear tire tread depth-was borderline but safe. They could have suggested new tires, but were honest, our trip went well. I regret buying new tires from my car dealership, overpriced, I'll go with Discount Tires from now on. read more

Never ever going to but tires at Discount tires again. Every time I get work done to a vehical I get new tires with a warranty. 3 separate times I've taken tires to get changed on warranty and nothing. I always here the same thing it looks like you had a mechanical issue, we can't exchange them. Oh but let's try to make you a deal on some new ones with a smug smile. While I waited in line for this gentleman to tell me this I heard 3 other costumers being told the same thing 1 or 2 yeah but 3 and I was the 4th. Seems a bit fishy to me. Confirm read more

Rey totally helped me out today. He was professional and courteous. It fixed my tore sensor for me with ease. I was dreading the trip, but it was a price of cake. I didn't even have to go in. He fixed it right there in the check tire lane. read more

Five stars, and I would give them ten if I could, especially the gentleman who filled up my tires, Walter I believe was his name. I came in at 5:20 ish after work and my tire pressure was low, I was able to get my tires filled up, warning light went off, and was out of there in less than ten minutes and for FREE. He was so polite and friendly, I asked if I was able to tip him, but he encouraged me to donate to their foundation instead. Overall, very impressed! Thanks Walter! read more

Went and had two tires put on my Ford Ranger. Best price in town for the tires and instillation. What makes this a three star instead of a five is when I got ready to leave noticed that tires on passenger side looked funny. When I checked them against the drivers side it dawned on me that they had left the center caps off the tires on the passenger side. Had to ask the technician to retrieve them and put them on the truck. He did and all was good. If I hadn't notice though I would be without my two caps. read more

I am from Dallas, TX, and I was down in Corpus Christi area after Harvey. Had a rental truck for my stay and hit a nail on the shoulder of tire so was told unrepairable. Rudy helped me out with a warranty claim and got 50% off of new tire. That is really impressive. They are above and beyond in terms of customer satisfaction and that is exactly why I have been with DTS. Truly the best! read more

I went in for a slow leak, and learned my dealer installed a tire with a twisted bead. Discount Tire refused to put it back on the car, and I figured I was in for high pressure to buy tires. Instead they GAVE me a used tire to replace the bad one so I would not have to drive on the donut spare. They told me that my dealer should never have placed the tire on the car and they should replace it. Discount Tire did me good and I know from where I will buy my next set. read more

Awesome customer service. went in today to buy a new tire due to a flat that seemed unrepairable. Albert said he thought it might be saved so I said sure give it a try. And the price of repair, lets just say it was shockingly low (No charge) Wow. read more

I've been doing business with Discount Tire for about 2 years now. Each time I have been pleased with the level of service and the curtesy of the staff. It's easy to be pleased when everything goes right. But the way a business treats you when things don't go right is the best way to tell if you are dealing with a quality business. Most recently, I brought my daughter's car in after she had a flat. They had to replace the tire. I came back the next day because there were some issues. I explained what my issues were, but I did not even have to ask for them to correct them. They offered the solutions I was hoping for without me having to ask. Kudos to Sr. Assistant Manager Chris Castillo for the excellent customer service. You've earned my loyalty. read more

Went in for a rotation.... Kiddos to them for honesty! The service guy said when they installed the tire, the old sensor fell inside the tire and ruined it. The gave me a new tire on the spot and admitted fault. That's an important quality in a company!! read more

On vacation, 10 hour trip ahead of us, got a nail in tire, Albert H had us in and out in 30 minutes!!!!! AWESOME service, offered us water and coffee. The 19.50$ for the replacement/certificate meant our tire that we got a few months ago didn't cost us a thing. Thank you all so much! read more

I desperately needed new tires so I scheduled a morning appt. After arriving, I walked in to a line and several other people already sitting down and waiting for their cars. This made me worried that it was going to take awhile, but I shouldn't have worried. After 5-10min of waiting, Jesse came up to me, checked out my existing tires and recommended a few new tires. He was very nice and helpful. After waiting for about 30min, they said my car was all ready with its new tires! read more

I'm still shocked by these guys' dedication to customer service. Fast and courteous. What more can I say? I am now a loyal customer and will refer friends and family to this location. --- Brought my truck in for 4 new tires. Was informed that they misplaced my key and had already spent some time searching for it. Although this sounds like the start to a negative review, this is just an example of how they shine. Their employee was extremely apologetic and was throwing in the towel. They offered to drive me home to get my spare key, and pay for a replacement key. I wasn't ready for them to give up so I let them know that I was willing to continue to sit and wait while they kept looking. Ten minutes later they found it. Mistakes happen and I'm happy because of the way they handled it. Also feel like I got a decent deal for the tires. As a longtime CC resident, it's extremely rare to see a local business treat customers as well as these guys. At one point the check-in line got pretty long. Their employees were apologetic about the wait while also thanking everyone for stopping in. read more

Best customer service if you're buying tires but don't come back if your tire needs balancing even though you paid for the extra warranty. They will act like they don't even know you're there.
