When it rains, it pours. Some Grinch decided to slash one of my truck tires just a few days before my annual Christmas road trip, and also just before the arrival of inclement weather that will make said trip a peril. In any event, I digress. Discount Tire has been my go-to place for many years for replacing and repairing my truck tires. They have always been available when I need them, have had exceptional customer service, and have great deals and warranty options. Being so close to the mass holiday exodus that happens every year at this time in Corpus, I was afraid I was not going to be taken care of properly and timely. That was not the case today! I called ahead, and their representative, Jonathan, had my back from beginning to end. He assured me they could get me in, get my tire replaced and have me on the road as I had originally planned. And they delivered on every promise made, just as they have always done for me. I have been a happy customer with Discount Tire for quite some time, and today, I was reminded of why I will remain a loyal customer of theirs. Thank you, Discount Tire! read more

This is one of the best Discount Tires! The prices have increased so I took off a star! I went in for low tire pressure. They said they fixed it. I hit the road and the tire went flat. I made it back and they fixed the issue so I took another star off. However, I still like this place because they took accountability. That means a lot. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

I came in with a low tire. Asked about two new ones. It was raining, only 4 of us inside and the bays were full. The rep and I talked about the tires, he had them and stated it would be 2 hours. That's way too long but you have a flat so suck it up. I go across the street in the rain because they keep your keys, lol 2 hours I'll text when ready for you no. I get this message after I leave that oh it will be 4:05 when completed, that is now over 4 hours wait time. Very poor service and lies on top. Never again read more

Terrible service at this location. They are not friendly do not spend money here you will regret it.

Got in and out in an hour. There was a line first thing in the morning with unscheduled appointments but I was pleasantly surprised that they have their efficiency down. They even rotated my wife's tires read more

Great service! I bought a set of four tires, and was pleased that they rotate tires on a 6,000 mile basis. Additionally, I was pleased that they provide windshield wiper service too. read more

Came in for a leak at my tire. Got it on the hoist and they said it was an unsafe tire and couldn't replace it. Couldn't put my tire back on either. The patch in question was on the tread NOT the sidewall. The nail was on the tread NOT the sidewalk. If you Google unsafe tires in Texas it says that patches are better than plugs. If you Google their tire policy it says the same thing. They said that they couldn't even put the tire back on so I could take it somewhere else. They did put a used tire on for free, but wanted to sell me a new tire first. When they won't take your truck off the hoist you don't have much choice in your options. I am 2500 miles from my home town and will NEVER do business with Discount Tire. It had one patch on the tire they said was unsafe. They must have seen my license plate and I'm 70 years old and saw an easy sale. Question their tactics!!! Buyer BEWARE. read more

Drove quite a while on a low tire. Thankfully, after an hour of stressing and hoping I did not break down in the middle of nowhereville Texas, I made it to discount tire. I arrived before opening, and there was quite a line by the time it did open. I wondered why they were so busy... Free tire repairs maybe? They patched and fixed my tire for free in about 20 minutes! I did not buy my tires there but they were still a big help, getting me bavk on the Rd safely. Thanks for the help! I will consider buying a new set here next time! read more

Discount Tire - Flat - Tires Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

Wait times are a complete joke. They take your keys at 10, tell you it'll take a few hours for getting a flat replaced, then when you ask why your car hasn't even gone into the bay yet (40 min behind the time they said) they give a half-baked excuse. Several people in the lobby had the same issue. We have been here for 4 hours and still haven't had anyone look at the car. read more

Bought four new Cooper ATP2 Tires for my 2017 Ram 1500. Worked with Erik Isaac who is one of the Assistant Managers. By far the best service I've had anywhere, much less Discount Tire. I've been a Discount Tire Customer for life, but I'll never go anywhere other than the Greenwood location as long as Erik is working there. He only had 3 tires, but was able to get me rolling even on a new spare tire for an affordable price, and I wasn't even planning on replacing the spare tire just yet. Just came back today and they had my fourth tire ready and got me in instantly, and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Best service ever! Thank You Erik and somebody give this guy a raise! read more

I have always liked DT, but this Oct 2022 I spent 2 hours waiting for my tires and windshield wiper blades. when I drove home 6 tire alarms were flashing. I could not return because it was after 6 pm. the next morning my back tire was flat n my garage. I had to return to Dr. two more hours of waiting. just now my wind shield wiper fell off in pieces 5 hours north of my city. fortunately a nice fellow repaired it for me. read more

I have lived in Houston, San Antonio, and now I am living in Corpus Christi. This Discount tire location is the best one I have been to. They have done an excellent job of responding to the Covid 19 crisis by having secure, sanitized space to buy your tires, and have them installed. The sales people are honest, not pushy, and happy to explain the different levels of tires and their prices. I was very satisfied with my purchase of four new tires for my Toyota, and thankful for a protected place to buy them. read more

This place was amazing!!! I was in town for a work conference and got a flat. I only had an hour and half break to get the tire fixed. The salesman who helped me pushed me to the front of the line and I was in and out in less than an hour! Best service ever! So glad I chose to get tires here! read more

I've always been a big fan and customer of Discount Tire and they came thru again. My battery died in the shopping center parking lot behind their store and James the manager was able to spare one of his team, Chase, who came over in his own truck to give my car a jump. They alway have great service, no matter what location I've been to. This location was even more exceptional. Thanks James, Chase and Discount Tire. I'll always be a customer. read more

I had a long trip to make and found my trailer was in need of new tires. Jose, the assistant manager, worked with me and had me out the door in 30 minutes. He even jumped in himself and got it done. I was able to make the trip and still get there on time. Thanks again Discount Tire, see you next time! read more

These guys change my tire really fast my tire had a nail in it and their knowledge was so good

This place is great! Always fast and friendly service. No pushy sales pitches. They are straight forward and do their job well.

I had a good experience here! They gave me a quote the day before that they ACTUALLY stuck to. I walked in and we got right to business. Good customer service makes the process less stressful. read more

Recently special ordering new tires over the phone I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for Sat. to have them mounted and balanced. Let's just say I was extremely hesitant that having my rims just powder coated they ultimately were going to be destroyed by the pneumatic tire removal machine. The sales advisor was courteous and understanding to my OCD behavior and assured me that they would see to it that all precautions would be used to not damage my rims. Well let's just say, NOT a single scratch, nick or ding was done to either of my four rims and was undoubtedly impressed. This Discount Tire location was extremely professional, accommodating to the long line of customers waiting (esp on a Sat), and dealt with every request, complaint and problem encountered as I sat and observed their high volume of customers in just the time I was there. I most certainly will return as a customer for their 5 star service. read more

Beware! I have special rims on my 2012 Toyota Camry. They were red, well at least when I took my car in they had red rims now they are silver with a touch of RED. The store manager, James Coleman, refused to take responsibility and instead opened up a case to have claims look into the incident. He made me feel like I was lying to him because he claims they have no equipment that would do that to the rims. Do the tires "automagically" come off the rims? After talking to my ex-husband, I went back to store and lo and behold I am now missing a HUBCAP. IT is my son's car and I couldn't bear to take it back home. Discount Tires please do what is right and "own up to your mistakes". read more

They took good care of me when I needed a tire on my pickup. Now I need rims on the new jeep. They had them in stock and got me in and out with no appointment and very little wait. I would recommend these professionals to anyone. read more

I went in yesterday to buy my tires with Mike and he was very easy to work with. This morning I went in at 9:00AM and I'm already out and at home. That's less that 30 minutes everyone. For all 4 of my tires. Thanks guys! A few of them even came out to see if I needed help. read more

This store is great. I mean let's face it, getting new tires always sucks. It's expensive, it's always a long wait, it usually comes after some crappy event like a wreck or a nail in your tire, or in my case waited so long to change the tires that you didn't pass inspection. But somehow these guys seem to make it fairly enjoyable. They are extremely friendly have knowledgeable staff, very fast service and free water and snacks. :) read more

Great place to fix your tires. The people who work here are very professional and they try to work with you. 5 out of 5 I will always come here to fix my tires as long as I'm in corpus. read more

I bought some tires here and was quite pleased. I had a blow out and they replaced it under warranty.

Place is TOP NOTCH for a discount tire chain. Manager (I think his name is tim) is truly damn good at what he does. If you take your car to discount tires and are in corpus. Take it here. This place has got it goin on (I don't EVER give 5 stars) read more

I will always buy from discount tires! I was driving a small school bus with a group of students on a field trip far from home. We had a blow out on the highway the day before, and I was nervous about how another tire was looking. Carlos inspected all tires, replaced a stem on the one in question and when we asked what we owed, he said that he just wanted us safe, no charge. Now it may have been different if I weren't in their system, but that is above and beyond customer service to me. I will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come. Thank you Carlos! read more
