When I questioned the price they told me that the parts I looked up (OEM parts) were "do it yourself parts". I told them I would never be back. It turned out my problem was a ground wire which cost me nothing to fix. Parts are parts. They tried to con because I a woman and elderly. But I'm not stupid. They might be ok for an oil change, but I wouldn't trust them for anything major- price gouging is one of their specialties.

Here are 5 reasons why I will never bring my vehicles here and why you shouldn't either, or at the very least you should question everything. Which is unfortunate because you should be able to trust that you are getting good work done (which does not happen here, please read all the bad reviews and listen to them) 1. we brought our mini van here for alternator issues and because we have insurance this was one of the approved places. When given a quote for the repairs we questioned why the bill was so high when we had insurance to cover the issues. We were told it's because the insurance was only covering a portion of the cost and we had to foot the rest. Well we called the insurance ourselves and told them what was going on and they said that we should not have to pay that much and that they approved everything. We then went over the estimate with the insurance company and found out that Christian Brothers had given the insurance a much lower estimate than they gave us and were trying to charge us for that difference. When we confronted Christian Brothers about the discrepancy in prices they told us that it was a mistake on their end and the lady who had done the estimate had not dealt with insurances before. Basically their mistake would have cost us an extra thousand dollars had we not questioned them and talked to the insurance ourselves 2. When going over the final price for the repairs they assured us that the price included everything and would not change anymore. When we went to pick up the car they tried to say that the price was an additional hundred dollars more because of diagnostic fees. Well we argued that with them and they eventually dropped the price back down to what was originally quoted. 3. They approved repairs without calling and discussing it with us even though I explicitly asked to be informed of any repairs before they completed them. 4. They completed repairs August 18th and today (September 8th) I took my car to Jiffy Lube on Saratoga and Weber (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE) for an oil change, while there they informed me that my coolant was low and topped it off. I left there and drove to HEB where I noticed that my car was leaking orange fluid. Immediately called Jiffy Lube and they came out to HEB and inspected my car for me and informed me that the hose for the coolant was not properly attached and had come off resulting in the coolant spilling out. They then reattached the hose correctly and refilled my coolant in the HEB parking lot for free. They reviewed the footage in their garage showing they had not touched the hose and were not responsible for the leak. With that information I went back to Christian Brothers to bring the issue to their attention and the manager admitted that their technicians did not replace the hose correctly resulting in the coolant leak (which could have been disastrous had it not happened when it did because we are road-tripping with the car tomorrow) For this very stressful situation that was a direct result of their incompetence they gave me a coupon for a free oil change with them, which is worthless to me because I will never go there again.

Came in for an oil change and set up an appointment online. There was no record of my appointment…read morewhen I showed up at the scheduled time. Awkward since someone claiming to have been from Christian Brothers was messaging me to confirm my appointment. The bright side was that they were still able to get me in for the service. Now comes the odd part. Prior to coming in, I went to get a wheel alignment done at another company since I had a service warranty there, but I was told I needed to get an alignment soon. Then I was told that I needed other maintenance including air filter replacement and spark plug replacement. Odd since I changed them out the week before. When I questioned if they were even pulled to check on the parts, I was told it was a recommendation due to the mileage. Definitely didn't want to be pushed into getting unnecessary maintenance work that was already performed, so I'll mark this off as a learned lesson. Definitely not worth the hassle of trying again.

I had my new-to-me car inspected at TC auto. Wanting to make sure this new (used) car was safe I opted for both inspections. Within a couple hours I was sent a detailed list of things from their courtesy inspection that needed repair along with photos. And soon after received a phone call with the details and he was happy to help with any questions I had. My reasoning for a missing star was I asked for the details on the $159 inspection and was told everything looked great, but that could have been because the seller wiped it clean (?!). I'm just your typical women who knows nothing about cars and had no idea this was possible. I felt taken advantage of for not being told about this before I agreed to pay $159. On top of that, there was some kind of $12 fee I was not told about that brought my total to $172 after taxes. I really appreciate their kind customer service and their nice clean waiting room but I would still recommend anyone who has no clue about cars to ask around before spending money here.

Took my car in with issues of jumping RPM's, slow to speed up and sometimes wouldn't go faster than 10 mph. It would complelty stall to 0 RPM if I braked in traffic. It's been a couple of years since I had that car and I now know that those are very clear signs of a bad transmission. Something these people would definitely have known, but instead decided to hide behind not being able to read what was wrong with the car because the battery didn't have any history on it. BAD people, I hope no one else has to go through this.

I was called early in the day to say it would be an extra $50.00. I okayed that but when I got there I owed $134.00. To top things off the back was filthy!. The owner actually came out and cleaned the liftgate and back area as best he could at 5:15 after they had closed. The lady told me she had her best 3 guys on it. Well, if they were her best, it goes to show you cannot get good help these days, and again $259.00 for a trailblazer. They said I had lots of hair...I have a shih tzu who sits in the front on the rare occasions he is in the car and he does not shed. Very sad, disappointed! Would NEVER pay that much for this service, especially as I am trading the car in on Friday. I do NOT recommend this company for detailing unless you have $$$$$ to throw away.

I had to go back to the shop a second time due to the issue reappearing. But they uncovered the real issue after they found out the dealership never informed me about a maintenance bulletin for the battery. Under their warranty I didn't have to pay any extra service costs which was appreciated. Problem has been fixed, Mike and the Romay team went above and beyond and did Subaru's job for them.

Went in for a reduced engine power issue, hoping they could run a diagnostic and fix it…read more After running a diagnostic they said replacing the throttle body would fix the reduced engine power issue. After spending nearly $2,000, the issue came up again a week later. I took it back in and they supposedly cleared some codes out of the system and sent me on my way. Fast forward to now and my truck has a bigger issue that stemmed from the reduced engine power issue not being properly fixed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR ANY MAJOR SERVICE. Let's this be a warning.

She said she knew nothing about it. I declined to purchase a battery from them. I left there and went directly to Auto Zone and they tested my battery, it tested 100%. I called and was told that is what the paper said I needed a new battery.
