And they charged $100-$150 charge just to drive in the door. So I found Mike's Mobile Service on Yelp. I called. He was patient, didn't act rushed, answered all questions, was polite and friendly, and said "let me earn your business." So I thought hell let me give this guy a shot. They fixed the car, didn't charge me $150 just to get in the door, and ran a free diagnostic the dealerships charges for. They even went out of their way to squeeze my car into their busy schedule. While I realize that's not always possible, I really appreciated it. My total was $250--half of Ford dealership's cost (I checked.). Several days later the car is running great. MIKE called my wife to make sure everything is OK. He even told her the story about their shop Kitty, Nitro. A baby kitten stuck in a transmission they found then bottle-fed back to health. A cute little cat running around the shop who was just a bundle of joy--animal lovers always go to the top of my list. When I first called for an appointment and asked for the cost of a Service B I got "It depends" and no amount. I went to this location specifically for a transmission flush, but they were unable to flush it and didn't call me to tell me that. All their costs are very high. I was charged $175 for 4 spark plugs. Their labor costs are extremely high. Get a full written detailed estimate BEFORE you let them work on your car and make them stick to it. I didn't and boy do I regret it.
