The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The buns are fresh, and the toppings taste high-quality. Service is fast and friendly, and the portion sizes are more than satisfying. Definitely one of the best burger spots around--can't wait to come back! read more

Solid burger and pretty hands off service-intentionally designed that way! Ambience was casual and laid back. Burger was tasty and you can totally customize via kiosk! read more

Was so impressed by the service here on my recent visit. The team makes a point to let you know about free refills and literally offers to refill for you when they walk by, even though it's not full service. I couldn't carry things because I had my baby in my stroller so they carried things over for me. I know these are small things, but I feel like when you go to a fast-ish food place the employees often aren't engaged or happy. This team was both and it just made for such s pleasant experience. Thank you all for that! And the food is good so I would happily go back!! read more

Burger patty was literally so thin you could barely see it. It was 50 dollars total for two small shakes, two burgers, and one fry. For that much money I should be able to at least see my burger patty. Such a scam. The shakes were good. Not worth the money. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Great quality smash burger with fresh ingredients and yummy sauce options. Friendly servers, though most service is self-serve (kiosk and self-bussing station). I wish the lettuce were sliced and not chopped since I think it'd add more refreshing-ness to the overall bite and wouldn't fall out so much. I also think the patty itself could be seasoned more, but they really nailed the crispy edges on the patty and bun! Fries were just okay for me and the prickly pear slushie was also just ok. I thought portion size was fair. Will be back! read more

TLDR: Great burgers and fries with delicious drinks! My friend and I decided to stop by for lunch, as we have never been here before but have seen it around. The restaurant is very cute and modern. We ordered on the iPad but you can order from a person as well. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 small combos (includes a small fries and drink of choice). I upgraded my drink to a Strawberry Shortcake shake. The total came to about $39 (before tip). The burgers were delicious. My friend and I got a Big Max Burger and the Thomas burger, both were a generous sized portion. The burgers were seasoned well and the sauce was delicious as well. The fries were the star of the show! The fries were shoestring and seemed to be dusted with an herbed salt. If I wasn't so full, I would've devoured all of the fries. One of the workers overheard us talking about how we were curious about the mango lemonade and gave us both a small sample, DELICIOUS btw. And so so nice of the worker haha! The shake was also delicious, it had small crumbles of shortcake. And I saw workers moving Tilamook ice cream so I assume all the shakes are made with quality ice cream. I definitely recommend coming here on a nice day to get the outside seating and eat some amazing burgers! read more

Yummy burgers and really kind staff! The burger was very tender with crunchy sides, and everything was seasoned well. It's a little pricey, but you can tell that everything is good quality and there's thought put behind the recipes. Also, the staff was so sweet, he gave my friend and I some samplers of their iced mango lemonade--it was so good!! read more

There's this online video where Matty Matheson tries to explain what fast fancy is - this is it. Delicious burgers, decent price, fast. This is my usual TGIF meal! Plus chicken nuggets and fried chicken sandwich slap too. read more

Went to lunch at this location and was very disappointed by the service. My order was delivered to the wrong table, and since the server read out my name I lifted my hand to let her know where I was. She looked at me and took my sandwich back in, which I was thankful for because I did not want a sandwich that was handled by another customer. Well I got the same sandwich back and it was cold. My friends burger and fries were also cold, like there was just lying on the counter for some time. I used to frequent their sister restaurant Eden Hill Provisions and I got better service during lock down than I did today. Also their computer interface where you place your order was not the best either. read more

I usually cook burgers at home, but had a craving, unusual for me, for a burger at lunch. Big Max Burger is close by and had good reviews, so... I did like the Thomas burger just the way it came, but my preference would be to have just mustard on it, which isn't an option here, except for honey mustard. The fries were very crisp to start, but so salty I actually limited how many I ate - unheard of! And the seasoning wasn't my favorite. It feels like a fast food restaurant, but at $33 for two 4oz burgers, one 16 oz coke, and a large fries, a lot more expensive. read more

Great service, quality, and ambiance. Even better location! Will definitely be back here.

It's an average burger spot tbh. The fries are skinny, but I like fatter fries. They still tasted good. My burger was good but nothing stood out to me here. Not a bad place, but not a return for me. read more

Top tier burger. Best in seattle. Get the queen animal w fries and caesar. Amazing service and great outdoor seating to enjoy the sun

Our burgers were burnt beyond belief. Poor quality all around. I would've been better off lighting $27 on fire

Wish I could give it negative stars. Won't ever come here again. $32 for a bacon cheeseburger fries and a lemonade. Outrageous Burger (if you wanna call it that) barely had any cheese on it. The patties were burnt and thinner than dollar bill. Just really really poor. Fries were the only thing that tasted good. Really really disappointed. If you're in Queen Anne and want a burger just go to Queen Anne Beerhall. read more

We took my mom to her old neighborhood where she grew up on Queen Anne & wanted to find a fun place to have lunch on a patio there since we had our puppy & upper Queen Anne is so dog friendly . We were all hungry for a burger so we stopped at Big Max Burger. You order at the desk in the lobby & they bring it out to you. We started with unsweetened ice teas & a frozen lemonade which they brought out for us right away. The tea was fresh brewed & really good & my husband's frozen lemonade was delicious. My husband & I decided to both get the Queen Animal burger, my mom got the Hot Mama Hen & we got a small order of fries & brussel sprouts to share. My husband & I loved our burgers, perfectly cooked beef Patty, thick smoky bacon, fried onions, avocado, pickles & their Max sauce on a delicious challah bun- so tasty & juicy! My mom really liked her chicken burger- a nice chunk of crispy fried chicken with lettuce, pickles, red pepper chili sauce on a challah bun. The fries were thin and crispy, herb salted with their Max sauce & homemade ketchup- so flavorful I was happy eating them without sauce & plenty for all of us to share. The brussel sprouts were also a generous portion & were coconut caramel kettle corn flavor- luckily we were so full from our burgers & fries that we each had a bite & honestly were happy because they weren't good at all. The service was prompt & friendly, the patio was really nice, the prices were reasonable & the food was really good- we'd definitely go back. read more

Let it be known that the Big Max burger is a total flavor bomb! I got the Thomas Burger which is a 1/4lb patty and my partner got the Big Max which is 1/2lb patty. The flavors of the burger are bold and very contrasting. You can definitely taste the quality of the beef; the cook of the meat had a nice amount of pink! I like that you can sub the beef patty for impossible meat ($4/patty). We shared a large fry and a strawberry shake and that kept us so full for the next few hours. The fries come with a side sauce of your choice but they honestly didn't need it at all. They're very well coated in an herb mix which tasted a lot like sour cream and onion. The ketchup has malt added so it had a tangier and brighter taste than your typical Heinz. I could tell the Max sauce had mustard mixed in though I've only had a Big Mac once in my life so I'm not sure how the two compare. They have a frose machine which is a big plus! Also very curious about their fried chicken sandwich so expect this review to be updated when we go back! read more

Don't come here if you're vegan: zero options. Vegetarian wise, the falafel burger is okay, if a bit second class compared to meat'ed selections. Big Max used to have a rather and unique and tasty celery root pastrami sandwich. This has been removed, I assume, as part of streamlining the menu. According to friends, the regular burgers are excellent. read more

If you like your burger fried to death, this is your joint. Crispy edges on the meat, yuk. Can't say what exact item I was eating since we were eating take out (which was hot when it arrived). Some of our group loved the shoestring fries but they weren't to my taste. As another review noted, Dick's has nothing to worry about. read more

came in and the interior was very cute as it was pink and the staff was friendly, seems like a great place to eat in bigger groups especially when it's warmer out. i ordered the big max burger as that was their signature along with their fries and max sauce. i was rather disappointed as i had very high hopes of the fries since they're green from the herb salt but tasted nothing while the max sauce was a weird rendition of mustardy thousand island sauce. the burger was very mediocre at best and couldn't really differentiate all of the components within the burger as it all muddled together. i sadly wouldn't recommend this place due to its mediocrity and higher price tag but i do enjoy the alternative options they have such as gluten free buns and veggie patties. read more

Great food. Friendly service! I love how friendly they are with kids. Always a kid friendly environment!

I had a big max burger yesterday with the chicken nuggets. I can't remember having a better burger. I felt like a lot thought was put into the burger and the sauces. The nuggets were the perfect side with the burger. Shout to Megan, Emily, buggy and cole for all that they do. read more

I wished I could have enjoyed and live up my meal to the hype! Unfortunately I didn't care for the overtly aggressive seasoning on the burger (almost nearly inedible). Fries were just okay - they were very cold by the time it came out; went in on a very busy Friday evening near closing time and I think the food had been sitting for a while. Might be convinced to come back to what other reviewers write as "best chicken sandwich" but I definitely will pass on the burger next time. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood! Had the Big Max burger and it was amazing! Still pink inside, juicy and delicious, it got all over my hands and face, normally I don't want to get messy while eating but this burger was way over the top and worth it! The chicken nuggets are also amazing, the breading is similar to crunchy beer battered onion rings. Forgot to take a photo of the burger because I dove right in. Not a fan of skinny fries but they were delicious! The service was great! Outdoor seating and free parking in the building, thank you very much!! read more

I was tempted to give a 2-star, but I didn't order enough to warrant a full review. This isn't any comment on the staff, who I had very little interaction with since you you order from a kiosk at the front. The interface itself wasn't great, and the only option I could find for a burger without bacon was the build your own. It's a 1/4 lb burger that comes with either a lettuce wrap or challah bun for about $8. This truly is build your own, because everything you add comes with a price. If I remember correctly, whatever "extras" you want -- pickles, lettuce, ketchup -- they are each $.50 extra. I ordered a burger with bun and pickles, and a 5 oz glass (plastic cup) of proseco for $10. All told, the bill came to $20.40 (I think there was a small additional charge for eating in). For comparison (even though I don't eat there), a Big Mac from McD's is only about $4...with cheese and all the trimmings. Granted, I know this is Queen Anne, but really. We sat in a space that's no better than a fast food place - generic music, plastic benches. The food came in a timely manner, but it's nothing to get excited about. The burger (pre-formed patty) was dry and about 1/2" thick if that. Meat and pickles were relatively tasteless (maybe that's why the bacon burgers get a better review). The bun may have be been put on the grill with a bit of oil or butter and was okay. The proseco actually tasted good, but geez. I know liquor is expensive these days, but I can buy a comparable whole bottle for about $10. And typically, you at least get atmosphere for that much. Should have known better. So all told, I'd rather hit up other places in upper Queen Anne, or, if I really want fast food, there are lots of other, better, cheaper options. I could even buy some packaged, prepared thing from Trader Joe's across the street. read more

I really like the service and atmosphere but the overall food was pretty average. I didn't have a burger but the fries just okay and a little cold and the salad dressing wasn't spectacular. The milkshakes are really good though. read more

Decent drive-in style burger. The bacon in the patties doesn't really help. Decent fries. I'm tired of brioche buns. Priced high for what you get. Glad there was beer. Honestly, Red Mill has far better burgers. read more

This meal was so good we didn't have time to take any pictures! Big Burger Max is maximum flavor!! Fried chicken sandwich is one of the best I've had, hands down. Fries are also good and I loved the chocolate shake. However, this place has some weird proportions on their menu which is why it's one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I don't get why it's cracker thin? When I crave a burger I like it thick and juicy. The lettuce was thicker than the meat on my bun and the burger was so thin I choked on how dry it was. Also the chicken nuggets are so giant and thick I feel like I'm eating a fully fried baby chick. Would be a lot better it was half the size (maybe an unpopular opinion) and 50% less oily. read more

Milkshakes and fries are ON POINT. The burger was a little under done for me and had more ingredients on it than were listed on the menu (unless I got the wrong one?). I'm not a pickles on a burger fan so definitely would have done without and was sad to find them on there. But my milkshake and fries were amazing- just make sure you read your burger details closely and if you like a fully cooked patty, make sure you specify. read more

I was craving for a good burger. Got the Big Max. Wow! Thick patties perfectly grilled just the way I like. Big bold flavor!!! I can taste the quality ingredients. It's gourmet fast food. You can customize your order. Best burger I have had in a long time. Worth a detour. Minus one star not because of the food. But there are a few people working in front, not behind in the kitchen. Why don't they clean this little place a bit better?! I will be back for the burgers. And I want to try the chicken nuggets. I have finally found a favorite burger joint! read more

Excellent food!! Big Max was delicious!!! Place is very clean and employees are very friendly.

Amazing service time and quality but the ordering was confusing. I ended up getting herbed fries when I wanted just regular fries which was annoying. It was also overpriced, $5.00 for a tiny burger that fit in the palm of my hand? Also the drinks were already small enough but to make it worse they filled it to the brim with ice so that you barely get any drink? Overall the place looks great and the people are nice but it's overpriced for the amount of food you receive. read more

I've been pelted with ads on the internet for Big Max. So I tried 'em. Dick's has nothin' to worry about (neither does Mickey D's, Jack In the Box or Wendy's). The Thomas burger was okay, certainly not outstanding...but expensive for what you get. The fries are crap. The chocolate shake ... my initial thought was "well that's kinda small!" At least the service was friendly. My advice: drive south on Queen Anne Avenue to Dick's. read more

A perfect 5 star burger restaurant. From everything to Brussels sprouts to chicken nuggets, this restaurant has everything you could possibly want and more. Everything the restaurant makes is from scratch so while it can be a little pricy, it's due to the high quality of ingredients that each menu item has. By controlling all parts of burger production in house, the staff are able to accommodate for any allergy or preference so no customer is excluded. On top of the excellent food, the hard work and due diligence of the servers can't go unmentioned as they go above and beyond every time, especially the blonde with curly hair. Truly a one of a kind establishment. (Ps: if you want to try a secret menu item just ask for the cowboy burger!) read more
