They even give every customer a slip of paper at the register to tell you once you leave the store you are getting no refunds no matter what. The workers are readily available to assist customers with accessing hard to reach items and offer to bring purchases to the front of the store to be held for you. Everyone I encountered was friendly, pleasant and helpful. This is set up similar to an "Antique Mall" but is much nicer than that. There are many rooms and it's so much fun to explore. At first I figured I would only be window shopping because some of the prices knocked me off my feet. I am a bargain hunter and have access weekly to some pretty amazing finds at my local farmers market. I get things for very reasonable prices. I miss Goody's- they had the best hand-cut french fries, burgers, hot dogs, even breakfast sandwiches...and don't forget the piping hot coffee. It was great to sit at one of their tables after shopping and just take a break. Their other food vendor at the front of the market is still there, but their prices are outrageously high and the employees are less than friendly. The Corner Shoppe is my favorite place to shop for items for my home and gifts for others. There are items from this shoppe in every room of my house. No matter where I have lived: NY, GA, MS or now PA I come back to the Corner Shoppe to see what is there. I tell Lisa (the owner) all the time she has such a 'good eye' to find unique things.
