Imagine a Dollar Tree and a Walmart hybrid, and you've pretty much got a Big Lots. Unfortunately…read morethough, the items that the Dollar Tree would carry are much less expensive at Dollar Tree, and the items you'd find at Walmart are cheaper at Walmart. So, sure the stuff's all under one roof, but that's about it. I went looking for a cheap recliner, and found a few, but after asking an associate about delivery, I was told that their delivery is basically them giving you a phone number. The cost (she thinks) is about $100, and you work out all of the arrangements with the delivery people. This, to me, is like being shown a pile of lumber, and being told it'll be a really nice house, once you get it all on site and put it together. No thanks. To summarize: In my opinion, there's absolutely no good reason to visit Big Lots, as other stores provide more for less.

They have other locations bunched in areas that are a distant from me, however(Warminster, North East Philly, Coatesville, and Cinnaminson). We need one in the Wilmington area and are plenty of spots to add a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.

Shopping this location for over a year now. My experiences have been excellent in both product & customer service. Needed Edison bulb string lights- found them significantly cheaper than online. What...? Not everything found in the Amazon is automatically cheaper?! 12 mos of weather, still performing & have no doubt if they quit I could return them for some comparable product, if not a full refund. Needed some knock-about clothes; lounge pants, gym socks, workout tees. Was not in the mood to play game of perusing tiny pics, reading thru altered reviews, only to receive a bad fit, or find the color is off, then have to eat it or send it back n' forth. Quickly tried on an arm full of goods. A brand called Spider emerged w/ perfect fit, right color, great value, & used a coupon to save even more. Every bit as good as the Under Armour I was looking to replace & more unique. Visited mattress dept. Memorial Day weekend. The team: Michael, Steve, Terry spent tons of time helping us make the right decision- giving the best price & standing by an offer we made good on to exchange for a better mattress 120 days later if not satisfied. Can't say enough about how convenient, cost saving, & large the selection of goods has been at this location- finding unique bargains on everything from holiday decorations to clothes & bed pillows.

Good selection, including some novelty items that I don't think I've seen recently in other places. It seems like they're operating on a small footprint overall here-- as evidenced by the parking lot, food court area, and less checkout stations than other locations nearby (ex. Cherry Hill). However, with the limited space that they have, they are doing pretty close to the best service possible. You just have to be warned that things can be slightly chaotic at the check and in the parking lot. But frankly, regardless of the size of the Costco, I feel like folks should just expect that at this point, especially out here in the burbs.

The employees here are not as accommodating and polite as they used to be. The neighborhood is relatively safe and beautiful. I really enjoyed the lady at the candy counter, the cashiers (all three) were friendly and kind. I love how they will also assist customers in the dressing room if needed! They will get you different sizes and even help with a zipper! This is something to be said for service! You can't get that interpersonal touch from no human contact online. I would love to commend ALL the Boscovs staff at Coventry! WOW JUST WOW! In all the decrepit, decaying stores in Coventry Mall lies Boscovs. I've typically just rushed through to go to Coventry Corners (soon sadly closing) Bath and Body, etc. I always figured their clothing and wares would be overpriced. Im not a "designer" label person I just like to look nice! As in , I can get better from Gabe's. Gabe's quality can be hit and miss. I digress! Wrong wrong! I saw a brand that HSN carries that is really hip, "One world", another brand that I was drawn to was "Ruby Rd" that has a cool ethnic cultural feel that I'm really really into lately. I scored some velvety soft leggings in Juniors that look like watercolors, or maybe the background of Munch's The Scream. I found some others at 3.99, an irresistible Halloween pair for 1.99, and a great pair for St Patrick's with lucky shamrocks aplenty! I did get a super cool cardigan too in ladies department in colors I typically don't wear with oranges, blacks, browns and olives. The price was right! I was elated to see Enstrom's toffee at their very old fashioned candy counter. Something from yesteryear past. Enstrom's are sold on qvc at a much higher price. If you love real butter toffee you MUST taste Enstrom's. 2.99 for a box is unheard of! I think I'm tired of online shopping. I want to touch and try on. Shipping clothes back can be costly. It's a let down too. I think today I'll try Plymouth Meeting Boscovs!
