Amanda was a pleasure to work with today. She asked us some questions, then gave us our space to walk around and explore. Never did we feel any pressure, unlike other big box stores. She helped us with the sale price, and the entire process was a delight. She offered suggestions, pointed out some things we overlooked with table packages, and really was great to work with. Thanks Amanda! We came home and found the price lower online, and she was able to match the price (and even beat it by a little). Only problem is we have to drive back to the store to have our credit card refunded, and it's over an hour round-trip. I bought a 3 piece living room set. The mechanism that works the recliner broke. Called the warranty company, ProtectAll and they sent someone out. Ultimately the couch got totaled and warrantied. The set is no longer made, so now I have a new piece that does not match. Also, the love seat had the same exact issue, but ProtectAll is denying this claim because they use a third party vendor to do the work, which told me they were taking care of my loveseat, but they did not report it to ProtectAll, so they denied my claim because they said it was too late to work it. So I have 1 piece that doesn't work, 1 that does, and one mismatched piece. If you choose to buy from Ashley, do not get the extra warranty. The staff is nice enough, the product, however was sub par and the warranty is garbage and not worth the paper it was printed on. read more

They are very similar in operational ethics to The Dump/Hayne's Furniture & if you've ever purchased from The Dump and experienced an issue You know exactly what I'm talking about. They will give you the run around with any customer service/warranty issues trying to make it seem as though you're at fault some kind of way. It's amazing that when you are purchasing an item, you receive great customer service but when you have a problem, EVERYONE that I have had to deal with has been absolutely horrible. So the associates that work there are choosing to behave this way and treat you in a horrible manner. Purchased furniture on November 10th and as of today 1.2.24 still waiting on my 100.00 refund. My 70-year-old mother has visited this location 6 times for a status and still nothing. And Jessica from customer service is just as bad. PLEASE CONCERN SHOPPING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! In responses to your apologize, NEVER was I informed that the refund would take 21 days. And remember my mother went into the store with her old debit card and her new debit card. So, if policy was to ensure the safety of your customers, that did not apply to this situation. When I orginally reached out to you regarding the treatment of my mother and only asked for the associated to be coached, nothing was done. I am so disappointed with the service and communication we have been receiving from all of these Ashley furniture stores. Broken or damaged items are shipped to the house, it takes forever to get anything replaced or a technician out, can't get anyone on the phone who makes sense, no follow-up or communication with the customer. It's all good when they want your money but no one tells you of the horror stories you have to go through just to get furniture in your home. I have ordered merchandise from Wayfair and Raymond and Flanigan and never had the issues or problems we have had over these past 30 days. They have lost a customer for LIFE!!! and we will definitely not be referring them to anyone else. Save yourself some time and trouble, shop at a real furniture store! read more

We purchased a sectional from Ashley 2.6 years ago and we Got the five year warranty. The "cuddler" on this sectional has been its weak point. We had the cuddler replaced completely after 3 days of owning it. Then furniture dr came out to repair it months later. It's since slowly sunk and cracked and now you sit in the seat not on it. It's just terrible. When we called to have it repaired we were told it wasn't covered. Why was it covered the other two times? Absolutely terrible customer service. Anyone who reads this, or any other social media sites I've posted on should know Ashley don't stand behind their product. Reply to Ashley Rep: This is a weak spot, it's pine and a long span, there's no way this isn't an issue for other people also. This cuddler broke two weeks after getting it and now again. Not what you'd expect. I still haven't received my order from November 2020. I was originally promised 8-12 weeks delivery. What they fail to tell you is that there is a two week minimum on top of the delivery date, because you cannot schedule a delivery until your item has been received in the warehouse and they are at least two weeks behind on deliveries. As of today, it has been 17 weeks since I purchased my couch. I could have ordered something better (and probably quicker) through Costco, I'm sorry I didn't. My delivery was supposed to be scheduled for today however they called to let me know "the truck broke down" so they needed to reschedule. At this point I wish I could get my money back and take my business elsewhere. My best advice is to read the reviews prior to mine and take your business elsewhere, because you will just end up dealing with frustration. read more

Amanda was great, trying to help us find the right sofa set for our home. She spent a good amount of time showing us different sets throughout the store. Unfortunately the set we originally ordered did not come delivered in sections like we thought and would not fit in our door, so we had to cancel the order before delivery. Tiffany Ray and Abby were fantastic at helping us find a new set and process all the necessary paper work to cancel our original order and purchase the new set. Do NOT buy any furniture from Ashley Furniture or their affiliates. We have had the worst experience with both their products and their customer service. Our furniture arrived damaged and we needed FIVE separate deliveries PLUS a visit from a technician. Even after five deliveries, the products are not in perfect condition. The furniture is cheaply made and it shows. My husband needed to take multiple days off of work to be home for all the separate deliveries. In communicating with the store, the delivery company (which was non-Ashley affiliated), the customer service line, the technician (another non-Ashley affiliated person) and the elusive non-traceable higher up customer care people (who had no direct line to get in touch with and had very selective hours and were unreachable) we kept getting passed around from person to person and the full story never seemed to be documented properly or accurately. One person would tell us one thing, and the next person would take it back and tell us something completely different. At one point, the delivery people even told us that they noticed the damage to our dining room chairs BEFORE they were placed on the truck to be delivered, but they were told they needed to deliver them anyway and should see if we would catch it or complain. The solution we were offered each time we brought up damage during deliveries was to have a technician come out to fix our brand new furniture that we paid full price for. I guess I must be crazy for thinking that when I am buying new furniture at full price, I expect that furniture to be delivered in pristine condition, because nothing we received from Ashley furniture was delivered that way. Even now, we have pieces that are scuffed, and one dining room chair that looks like the top was painted over to cover up previous damage, but we are fed up with dealing with customer service and my husband is unable to take off work any more to facilitate any more deliveries. Recently, our customer service ticket was "closed" without our knowledge after we had been waiting over 5 weeks to hear back from Ashley after our technician visit. We ordered our furniture at the end of July and are still dealing with the repercussions. We have been asking for months for some kind of compensation and were told that someone would get in touch with us to discuss it, but we have heard nothing. Save yourself the time, energy and frustration. I beg you to go with a different furniture company. Ashley furniture does not deserve your business. Dealing with them is exhausting especially for the extremely low quality of furniture they offer. read more

Went into the store just to feel the product and planned to order online for cheaper. Turns out they are having a surprise sale from now through Memorial Day--60% off and free delivery (with $2k purchase)! Knowledgeable salespeople were available all over the store but they were not pushy at all-- they answered questions and left us to browse and decide, revisiting to answer more questions and price items, again, leaving us to consider in peace with no pressure. I was thrilled to learn that items In Stock at their warehouse are deliverable in 2-3 weeks! Otherwise they have to build the furniture on demand placing the delivery estimate at 8-12 weeks. With mandatory quarantines last year, much of production was slowed, but it's picking back up, apparently. My husband and I were going the rounds and chatting with Stephanie (friendly, lovely, professional, hardworking, not pushy), and after getting an idea of what we were looking for, she directed us to some pieces we missed and I'm so glad! They were more affordable and nicer than what we were considering! Long story short, we bought several pieces then and there! So happy!! read more

The chair I bought started falling apart in less than a month, customer service was useless as well as the manager, Isaiah. They say I voided the warranty by picking the chair up instead of paying hundreds of dollars to have it delivered. When I sent them pictures of the chair falling apart, they advised me to call the protection plan which I purchased, and lie saying that it just happened. The protection plan company said that they don't cover faulty manufacturing. This wasn't damage caused by moving, this was,as the protection plan company called it, "lack of resiliency" basically a faulty product. read more

I purchased my living room set (2 sofas and an ottoman) and the so-called protection plan. The furniture was delivered on July 16, 2021. The delivery drivers unloaded my furniture from the truck, removed the wrapping, and placed my furniture including the pillows on the ground in the driveway of my development. The couches were dirty and damaged with stains on the sofa, the ottoman, and the pillows were frayed. The delivery drivers were not wearing masks, gloves, or shoe coverings when they entered my home. I called Ashley Homestore in Upland Square where I purchased the furniture the same day it was delivered. I was given a number to Guest Services. I called the same day it was delivered and spoke with Jose. He gave me a claim number and sent me an email instructing me to send pictures in jpeg format within 72 hours. I sent the pics within the 72 hours on 7/18. The email also stated I would receive a response within 7-10 business days. Welp, I received no response within 7-10 business days. I sent a follow up email and phone call, no response or acknowledgment. I went to the Upland Square Store on 7/28 and they reached out to the Care Dept. I was told it would take another 7-10 business days on Aug. 5 I received an email from Kaycee at Guest services identical to the email from Jose. I resent the pictures and provided detail of all the damage. I received a generic email asking me to wait another 7-10 business days due to being them being short handed. Guess what happened in 7-10 business days: Absolutely nothing! No response. I sent a follow up email on 8/28 and demanded a response by 9/3. I was not nice and no I didn't mince my words. I received an email yesterday (8/31) from Kaycee stating the following: "I called in but mailbox was full. Calling in regards to ottoman and what damages that has , we would need more information and pictures of that piece in regards to the sectional we unfortunately will not be able to service being as thought it is in home damage ., yet we can still service ottoman." Please note the call was made on 8/31 at 4:40pm the same day I got the email. I immediately responded to email stating that there are no kids or pets in the home. I just purchased my home and everything is still boxed, how can you determine it's in home damage when you've never been to my home to assess the furniture. Not to mention the fact that I've sent the same 12 pictures multiple times and reported the damage the same day it was delivered. I spent over $2200.00 in full for a damaged living room set plus I purchased the protection plan and now I'm being blamed for in home damage. Are you kidding me? If I could give Ashley Homestore and their affiliate Regency Furniture negative stars I would. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness is abysmal and subpar. There has been NO attempt made by Ashley Homestore or their affiliate Regency Furniture to remedy this. I've kept all receipts and records of the few and far in between communications because I'm going to have to seek alternative methods in order to get this resolved. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture or their Affiliate Regency Furniture to my worst enemy. read more

We are very disappointed with the 3rd party delivery company Ashley Furniture uses. We purchased a dining room set and it was damaged on delivery. We figured things happen, so we scheduled for another one to be delivered. That too was damaged, after waiting 2 weeks for it to delivered. In addition to the damaged product, AGAIN, the 2 delivery guys started arguing in our house between themselves about the situation. Made us feel VERY uncomfortable. Plus, had to go out of our way to get our money refunded after all this was said and done. Which I find again pretty upsetting. Luckily for us, we went to Raymour & Flanigan and spent less than half the money and had professional delivery MEN set up our beautiful dining room set. Easy Pezzy. If I could rate this store less than 1 star I would. The whole sales process was typical of a furniture store except at the end of the transaction they over promised and so far have severely under delivered. We paid for a dining room set at the beginning of November and were told that everything was in the warehouse except for 1 item. Therefore we were looking at a early December delivery. I had to call the store since the original date came and I hadn't heard anything from this company. I was told it would be delayed 2 weeks. Extremely inconvenient but due to everything going on, especially with COVID, it was understandable. The next delivery date came and again no contact and no delivery. We were told it would be another month when we had to call them. Now at the end of that additional month we called up to figure out what was going on and they put me on hold for about 10 minutes. I hung up and called corporate and they said they would transfer us to the store but they called in first for us. The person who answered at the store refused to speak to us. We are now looking at another 3 weeks out. That's a full 3 months and an additional week past the max delivery time. They have no explanation, just false promises each time. I will not be buying anything from this company every again and if you need furniture to actually arrive I would highly recommend going else where. If you have plenty of time on your hands and like false promises then this is your place to go. read more

Update to my earlier review. We were initially thrilled when we purchased our sons bed and left the store that evening. HOWEVER, the bed that was delivered was NOT the bed that we thought our salesperson Casey sold us. We were delivered a panel bed when it was very clear in the store we wanted the bed with storage. I even posted the picture of the bed we thought they were selling us in my original review! When I called immediately after the bed was delivered I was told that it was a sales error and would be rectified. Days later no phone call about it so my husband called them back. We were then pushed from customer service back to the Pottstown showroom. From there we were told that the Regional Mgr said we could upgrade for another $180! When we asked to speak to the Regional Mgr. we were told there is no way to talk with them. So basically it was a bait and switch situation. Don't bother wasting your time going here, you'll be double talked from the minute you enter. Should've know their "Sale" was too good to be true. read more

I knew exactly what I wanted when going into the store but couldn't find an associate to help me. What I wanted was listed as a very reasonable price on the website but the store couldn't come anywhere close to that price, which is very frustrating and in my opinion a sneaky way to get you to come in to the store only to let you down. The delivery fee is outrageous also, especially because I'm less than ten minutes away from the store. If I wanted to pick it up myself I'd have to go to Philly - what?????? Ridiculous! I bought a sofa last year from another location and got a much better deal on that than I would have on the loveseat I wanted to purchase but refuse to pay the crazy price plus taxes and delivery. They need to stop advertising the great prices on their website only to knock you down when you go to the store. I really love the sofa I bought last year and was hoping to get the matching loveseat, but not at their prices. Very disappointing experience all around. read more
