Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.

The workers are readily available to assist customers with accessing hard to reach items and offer to bring purchases to the front of the store to be held for you. Everyone I encountered was friendly, pleasant and helpful. This is set up similar to an "Antique Mall" but is much nicer than that. There are many rooms and it's so much fun to explore. At first I figured I would only be window shopping because some of the prices knocked me off my feet. I am a bargain hunter and have access weekly to some pretty amazing finds at my local farmers market. I get things for very reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and found a tremendous gift for a friend. I highly recommend visiting The Swamp Door. You will enjoy walking down memory lane. My son had purchased a desk and an office chair and needed assistance getting it home-so I swung by to help. Well you know me and shopping. I had to peek into the store. The space is huge! The thrift store has everything you can imagine-a graveyard full of walkers, wheelchairs, lots of sofas, tables, coffee tables and furniture. Everything is clearly marked and well organized. I really enjoyed browsing and I hope to come back. The space is filled with nostalgia and prized (at one time) possessions with a history. Enjoy shopping around. I found some GREAT buys. Only negative notice was the men's assortment of cologne boxes were 50% ripped open and tested. But it's par for the area. Lots of young dudes. I was at this location and had a return, no queries, tags attached, receipt was presented and smooth transaction. Associate was helpful.
