Still one of my favorite pizza spots in the world. I just got back from living in Portland, which has some of the West's best, and Big J's is better than most here, there, and everywhere. They do my favorite slice in the 831 as well. They do a par baked pie and then add more sauce, cheese, and toppings and then bake it again, custom to order. A lot of labor and work to do this, but it makes a huge difference. Makes it taste ultra fresh and one slice with a few toppings fills me up and I'm a pretty big dude who likes to take down a Big J before hitting Big J's. Always nice to stop in and enjoy some pie on their benches in the Corralitos sunshine. Give it a try!

Our family stopped by for an early lunch while exploring Corralitos, and we're so glad we did! The pepperoni pizza was hot, cheesy, and delicious. My husband is from New Jersey and said this was one of the best pizzas he's had in the West Coast. Can't wait to come back with the rest of our family.

Wonderful little pizza shop! They said it would take 20 minutes to make, but it only took 15. The pizza is extremely fresh and tastes homemade. Not overwhelmingly seasoned or heavy on oils. I ate the whole thing and will be back.

Very fresh ingredients. I love how they hide the pepperoni under the cheese. Crust is thick and chewy. Love this little place. Very nice people.

Love Big J's. Not inexpensive, but really good and very convenient for us Corralitos folks. They deliver too.

Our favorite is the Corralitos Special, Greek Salad, and wings! All of Pete's pizza combos are good though.

We had reservations for 7 pm and upon arrival the restaurant was full - this is how you know it must be good. It remained busy throughout the evening too. They had fun spritzes on the menu, I tried the peach basil one and enjoyed it. It wasn't too sweet at all, was tart and crisp. We started with a special they had running for the evening, it was a halibut carpaccio served with avocado mousse and mandarins. The chef let us know he caught the fish on the beach in Capitola, I thought that was pretty rad. It was super fresh, light and delicious. We also shared the prosciutto pizza as a starter as well, so tasty! Literally everything was so good. The crust was easy to chew and eat, flavors were savory and sweet. For entrees my husband ordered the duck ragu and this was my highlight - wish I ordered this for myself as well! Savory goodness and as the dish cooled down the sauce thickened more. I had the mushroom campanelle because once I read truffle hollandaise I was like I must try this. I love mushrooms so anytime I see a dish with them I'm sold. I wish I could've added steak as a protein with it, but overall a yummy pasta dish as well.

THIS PIZZA SAVED MY MARRIAGE!!!! I don't usually leave…read morereviews, but Pizza Mia in Watsonville deserves full credit for saving my marriage. Last Friday, my spouse and I were deep in one of those "we are absolutely not speaking ever again" arguments. You know, the kind where someone brings up something from 2017 and suddenly it's a documentary series. Anyway, in a moment of desperation (and hunger), I ordered a large pizza from Pizza Mia. When it arrived, we both tried to stay mad... but then we opened the box. The smell alone forced a temporary ceasefire. One slice turned into two, then three, and before we knew it, we were arguing again--but this time about who got the last slice. Somewhere between the pepperoni and the cheese pull, we started laughing. By the time the box was empty, so was the argument. So yeah--marriage counseling is great and all, but have you tried Pizza Mia? 10/10 would emotionally reconcile again.

Returning after more than a decade, I was eager to see if it lived up to my memories, and it absolutely did. The pizza remains consistently good, the crust is thin but not too thin, with a soft, fluffy interior and a satisfying crisp. The sauce is the real standout, it's light, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, complementing every bite. It is simple, unpretentious, and exactly what you hope for from a neighborhood pizzeria. Service is fast, and the pricing is fair. I had three slices of pepperoni pizza and three water bottles for $13.81. What struck me most is how Pizza Mia manages to deliver both nostalgia and quality, proving that some local favorites are timeless. The only downside is that I noticed the seating area is now closed, which is a bummer as that was a place to sit, eat, and enjoy your pizza and maybe play an arcade game. For anyone in Watsonville craving a classic slice done right, this is a must visit!

The outdoor area is pretty cool, there is cornhole and other games to play. I like all the picnic tables for you to find a spot and hang out at after you get your drinks and or food. When you're inside you walk up to a counter and order your drinks and food. There are also coolers where you can pick out unique beers. We didnt get food this time as we had just come for dinner, but everything we saw looked pretty tasty. The prices weren't too bad, pretty moderate. The service was great, all employees that we encountered were super nice and friendly. It was also pretty clean given the fact that it was the middle of a busy Saturday night. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is that there could have been more tables inside. I felt like there was alot of dead space that could have been better utilized. It was pretty chilly the night we went, so sitting outside without a heater was a bit of a buzz kill and we would have stayed longer had we had a different place to hangout. All in all, cool spot, good people, good drinks, good vibe!
