My taste buds were very happy. I also tried the Caesar salad sans croutons and it may have been the best Caesar I've had in a long time. Well done, chef. The interior design and space is similar to Trestles and sitting at the bar was entertaining. I loved watching the kitchen staff do their thing. One piece of feedback I'd give for a future warm day: please create more air flow. Whether that's doors and windows open or more fans, that pizza oven is HOT. I was sweating the entire meal.

THIS PIZZA SAVED MY MARRIAGE!!!! I don't usually leave…read morereviews, but Pizza Mia in Watsonville deserves full credit for saving my marriage. Last Friday, my spouse and I were deep in one of those "we are absolutely not speaking ever again" arguments. You know, the kind where someone brings up something from 2017 and suddenly it's a documentary series. Anyway, in a moment of desperation (and hunger), I ordered a large pizza from Pizza Mia. When it arrived, we both tried to stay mad... but then we opened the box. The smell alone forced a temporary ceasefire. One slice turned into two, then three, and before we knew it, we were arguing again--but this time about who got the last slice. Somewhere between the pepperoni and the cheese pull, we started laughing. By the time the box was empty, so was the argument. So yeah--marriage counseling is great and all, but have you tried Pizza Mia? 10/10 would emotionally reconcile again.

Returning after more than a decade, I was eager to see if it lived up to my memories, and it absolutely did. The pizza remains consistently good, the crust is thin but not too thin, with a soft, fluffy interior and a satisfying crisp. The sauce is the real standout, it's light, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, complementing every bite. It is simple, unpretentious, and exactly what you hope for from a neighborhood pizzeria. Service is fast, and the pricing is fair. I had three slices of pepperoni pizza and three water bottles for $13.81. What struck me most is how Pizza Mia manages to deliver both nostalgia and quality, proving that some local favorites are timeless. The only downside is that I noticed the seating area is now closed, which is a bummer as that was a place to sit, eat, and enjoy your pizza and maybe play an arcade game. For anyone in Watsonville craving a classic slice done right, this is a must visit!

Chips are the real deal -medium cut, lightly battered (Black country style), crispy, well seasoned with paprika mix. my opinion is based on experience from personal experience delivery is very slow sometimes up to 1 1/2 hours crust sometimes as a musty mildewy taste and half the time they will overcharge on the pizza delivery you can place same order lets say every weekend and they are always a different price as far as the coupon sometimes it's a joke they will still overcharge. for some it might be great but i agree with friends and my family ! oh and also the fact that the drivers that deliver half the time conveniently don't have change ! read more

The look of it evoked that feeling of a classic East Coast slice. I was impressed and getting nostalgic. But I will say that the taste and texture, while not bad, doesn't quite hit the heights of a real NY or even Boston pizza slice. They say the secret's in the water, that East Coast soft water makes a crust pliable, soft, bubbly, while still being crispy and retaining structure. This crust was a little too stiff, no bubbly flecks, and could have developed better flavor, from more salt. The cheese tasted mild, and could have also used a little more flavor. What's cool though, is they do have toppings like hot honey. You can grab a slice or order a whole pizza.

The owners are so nice. Watsonville has no shortage of great food, but the slice project remains ONE of my favorite places to grab a slice of pizza in the area. The slices are generous, before I became a health conscience junkie I would eat about 4 slices by myself (those days are far behind me) but every once in awhile I will have a slice of pizza in moderation. Their crust is thin, blistered from the wood-fired oven, just the right balance of chew and crispiness. The toppings are creative without trying too hard, and every ingredient taste high quality. What I love most is that they don't overload the pizza. Their crust combinations are thoughtful, letting each ingredient shine instead of burying everything under a mountain of random stuff. I always ask for gluten free crust, you have to call in advance so they can prepare it, my favorite is the Lil' Pep. The atmosphere is casual, energetic and perfectly located. Whether you are a local or visiting from out of town, this is ONE of the spots that consistently lives up to its reputation.
