It's Big J's!! Food is good quality and always prepared well. Service is top notch!! Always fast!! Scott and crew are a well oiled team!!

Everything is amazing about this place to eat. Good food and service until it comes to the drinks. Every single time i get a drink from here, someone with the cognitive function of a premature fetus doesn't put the damn lid on all the way. Cant count on all my limbs how many times some idiot has given me a drink with a lid put on half assed. One of the simplest parts of their jobs they CAN NOT seem to comprehend. If you can take an order on a machine, then you can put on a fucking lid. read more

I was very surprised on how clean the restaurant was. Many hard working staff staying busy and service was excellent. The choices of ice cream deserts left you wanting them all. Staff was very friendly. read more

Big J Burgers - Very pleased with Big J Burgers, large menu and excellent ice cream desserts to choose from. - Burgers Near Me - Preston, Idaho

This place is one of my new favorites. They are really sanitary, they use a towel for the table and a different one for the seat. They have good food, and they train their employees very well. The bathrooms are clean and nice but I would like them to add towels for your hands. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Went here a few months ago. Heard great things but the food was super bland. Not great and would not eat it again. We got burgers, tots, and chicken and none of it stood out at all. More flavor anywhere else to be honest. Bummer. read more

10/10 Amazing customer service, clean tables, hot fresh food and great portion sizes. Don't sleep on the fresh berry shakes! read more

Big J Burgers - Strawberry, raspberry and cookie dough shakes. - Burgers Near Me - Preston, Idaho

My reviews focus on the customer service, not so much on the food. I was eating in my car. One of the adult employees visited the storage, seeing me in my car after viewing my TN license plate. She came up and asked if I needed anything else, like napkins. She delivered me more, which helped this messy eater. The food: So happy they sold me on the Pumpkin Spice Shake. Although a bit expensive, it was incredibly good. The burger was good but the fries were so-so. read more

We ordered burrito platters. They were really good. Got in and out really fast. Place was pretty busy

On our weekly day trips we look for the "mom and pop" spots with the most cars in the parking lot. Big J's fit the criteria as we passed through Preston, Idaho and it did not disappoint. The place was literally packed, yet we didn't wait more than 30 seconds to be acknowledged and asked for our order. Our cashier was very nice and attentive. A table opened up and we snagged it, then waited less than 5 minutes for our food to be delivered, which was fresh and hot. Fries were delicious and fry sauce available. Yum!! My cheeseburger was just so-so, nothing much to say about it. My hubs got the Big-J, he loved it. The place was clean as a whistle! The staff was on top of cleaning tables as customers departed making turn around for seating timely. We had our eyes on the shakes at other tables but didn't end up indulging; they looked delicious. A girl came by our table when we started to clear it off and took our tray and offered us a dum-dum sucker or mint from a basket. Nice touch! Overall a great experience, maybe just need to up their game on the cheeseburgers! read more

Big j's never ever disappoints. Every food on the menu is very good. This place also has the best service in the whole wide world.

This place was amazing!!! We walked in with 3 volleyball teams and they did not stress at all. They were the nicest people ever. Super fast. AND THEN A FOOTBALL TEAM walked in after us. They also gave us a coaches discount. Cutest place to sit and eat in Preston read more

The food here is really good :) I enjoy their loaded burritos and tater tots. But they are very very slow and expensive.

Big J Burgers is awesome! Friendly staff! Preston is lucky to have them! Good fast food. A large variety of food and great with food allergies. read more

Great Service! I really love how on busy days at lunch time if there's too many cars in the drive thorugh they come out with an ipad to your car window and take your order to speed things up. Plus for cars in the drivethough that have an order that might take a little longer they have them pull forward and then they bring it out so that the line keeps moving. When inside the restaurant they are super pleasers. They will throw away your tray for you and are always extra friendly and helfpul. The prices are high, but I'm sure it costs a lot of money to keep a restaurant like this open and so many people working it! Their employees are never substandard. They are all above and beyond, and I think that is becuase they make sure to train them well. You cannot put a price on a local hometown business! Plus, the fries are the best! So are the ice cream treats. What's even more, is they support local people as well, especially when they give my kids free pizzas or burgers distributed by local school when my children read consecutively at home. No, there's no price tag to put on that. read more

Shout out to Teresa who lives next door to "Pedro's" house for recommending this place to us. We went on a hopping Friday night and got a feel for this great small town. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful, especially Katelyn K., who took our order! The burgers, shakes, and tatertots were delicious! We left Preston wanting to come back! read more

Unremarkable fast food, done cheaply. None of their cooking has much flavor. Everything is frozen, prepackaged and processed. Look at the photos on here that show just how pathetic their burgers are. Raspberry shake is the only thing I really like here. In a town with few fast food options, it's often crowded here, especially on the weekends. The kids working here do a good job keeping up and are always friendly. I just wish the cooking was up to par. read more

The staff is super friendly, the ambiance is wonderful. We love the taco salads and the kids meals come in a cowboy hat, which my little boys just love. Make sure you try the ice cream. My husband can't stop talking about his rice crispie treat/brownie shake. read more

Bad experience for the out of state customer. Young Man didn't get the order correct, returned, to be told we were charged for one burger and not the other. Then the interrogation began as to what had been eating! Who the hell attacks a paying customer fir the food they laid for, yet received wring because of an incompetent employee who didn't pay attention to begin with? Big J's, that's who. I'll never return and make sure local family knows not to for this reason. Previously I had been a repeat customer when in town. Never again. Ever. read more

Big J Burgers - Horrible experience. Attendant takes order face2face INCORRECTLY, verbally attacked about half eaten/missing food. NEVER AGAIN - Burgers Near Me - Preston, Idaho

You'd think will all the business they get and how low they pay their employees that the prices of their meh food would be lower. I love the place as much as any Preston native. We grew up with it. But let's be honest with ourselves, quality has dropped in recent years. Whether it's stale or tasteless food or what, the prices are my biggest issues. You want how much for a basic chicken sandwich?! If I'm gonna spend that much money on food, I'll go to Wendy's down the road and get triple the food for the same price. read more

Used to be good food quality has gone down prices have gone up the consistency of the items is very weak. You may go one time and get a nice fat bean burrito and you may go another time and get a very skinny small bean burrito it depends who makes it I've heard that if the women owners their your own food items will be smaller I've kind of watch that and found it to be true. read more

We had a great experience here Saturday. The service was very friendly. Our raspberry shake was as good as those at Bear Lake. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and thought the flavor was super similar to wings from Winger's, which we love. We had onion rings and they were yummy too (not the best I've ever eaten yummy, but better than others we've had). We saw delicious looking baked potatoes at a table next to ours and thought we should order them the next time. Fast food in a small town, it was great for what it is! read more

Good food. The prices are outrageous because they really don't have any competitors. If you go here I recommend the chicken Malibu or the soft bean burritos. read more

Big J's has been a staple in the Preston community for years. Not only is it famous for its role in Napoleon Dynamite, the food has always been good and the atmosphere friendly. As an Idahoan, I worked there for nearly three years when I was in high school. There was always an emphasis on customer service and good food. The ownership is excellent and customer service impeccable. Sadly, I've seen a decline in their food quality over the years. Prices have gone up with remodels and cost of living. They're newest upgrade left the store feeling like a chain restaurant to me. The new additions to the menu are good though some feel like they don't belong. They've changed out the type of crispy chicken they use for sandwiches and that's unfortunate because they were so good when I worked there. Unfortunately, they've grown the menu so large it feels like endless options and it's overwhelming. On a good note, their fresh fruit shakes have and always will be the best. The cater to customers and they are friendly. read more

Was just here.......$10 for a double cheese combo large sized????? Oh and don't forget the extra 35 cents for fry sauce--For sub par food What a rip off!!! Should have gone to five guys in Logan and gotten better food for same price.........sure do miss Polar Bear read more

Pricey for what you get. The raspberry shake was amazing. Service was fast, but sub-par food for the price. I had the fish and chips added in shrimp and they charged me 20 dollars. 3 stars because I went for the food and it sucked as well as the prices. I'll be back for a shake but nothing else. read more

For a burger and shake it's the best! The burgers are so juicy and you can have them your way with what ever toppings you like. The shakes are made the old fashion way with hard ice cream and the flavors are almost limitless. The service is fast and friendly. You will leave totally stuffed and happy!! read more

The food is to expensive and has the same quality as Burger King or Wendy's. Just go to another restaurant while you're in town.

Can you say food poisoning? I stopped here on my way home from Pocatello one evening in November 2013. The next day was followed by unpredictable bodily functions of which I have never experienced before and haven't experienced since. I called the restaurant to complain, but of course there's nothing they can do. My $7 meal ended up costing me more than I bargained for in medical bills at the most financially inconvenient time possible. Now I avoid Big J's entirely, you won't see me stopping at their Preston, Idaho or Richmond, Utah location ever. It's particularly disheartening because my first impression of this establishment in Preston was actually pretty decent. Food safety is of upmost importance, which I don't feel was something that was being properly practiced here on my last visit, and nothing was offered in exchange for my complaint. Eat here at your own risk. read more

Big J's is the epitome of what small town fast food dining should be. My daughter got a kid's meal, and it came in an adorable straw cowboy hat. The food was delicious, especially my fresh raspberry shake. Plus, to top it all off, the counter person was extremely friendly and personable. read more

If you've got time between checking out Napoleon's house and visiting Preston High School, you should definitely go to Big J's. It's everything you'd want from a local fast food place. It is a little too pricy, but if you're hungry it is well worth it. Try the Big J with ham on it. And they give you complimentary mints or Dum-Dum suckers when you're done with your meal - classy. read more

Good burger place, I'd say the best in Preston. We've been dozens of times and the food has always been good. I always get the Big J Burger with Pastrami. The fries are excellent and the service is even better. It always looks like they are hustling and have high standards. The service isn't always super fast but they are always busy when we go but you pull up to their parking lot instead of waiting in line and they bring the food out to you. They've never got my order wrong and they have always been friendly. read more

Big j burgers is kind of the worst restaurant in Preston the food is extremely overpriced and I have had better food from a porta potty

Our favorite fast food restaurant in the whole world. We always visit Big J's when we visit Preston. They have the best customer service of any restaurant we've been to. The food is excellent. Yummy! Freshly made. Milkshakes are all great, huge variety. Best tots with cheese & fry sauce anywhere. Good fish & shrimp options. Fresh lime squeeze drink excellent. Kind staff. Clean restaurant. read more

I'm baffled at the poor reviews of this restaurant. I have been there on many occasions and found the food and service amazing. I have been there when high school games have just ended and they handle a huge group impressively well. Everything I've ordered has been delicious! Most of the employees are young people and I have always been impressed with how great their customer service is for basically being a bunch of kids working the front end. They also keep the tables wiped off and they bring your food to you. Very nice place to eat! read more
