I've never done an oil change anywhere but a dealership or family mechanic, but Walmart might have me converted. I walked in just before 5pm on a weekday (what mechanic is open that late??) and there was zero wait. The mechanics checked me in quickly and said it would be 20 minutes. I was super skeptical, so I wandered the store for 15minutes and went to sit down at the AutoCenter to see just how long it would take. Turns out 20mins wasn't far off. About 25 minutes after I handed over my keys, my car was done. $36 for a mixed synthetic/standard oil change and a basic filter. Can't complain! The two women mechanics working the counter and doing the oil change were awesome. Friendly, had answers to all my questions and were fast. I'll be back!!

He gets there and was told no appt was booked, had him ask if they could manage to get him in and lady said she could. Had him put me on speaker so we can confirm that no issue doing it for that specific car. Again, was told no issue. Grandson gives keys and leaves only to get a call saying oh sorry, i guess we can't do the headlights on that car. Are you kidding me! After asking twice about this! Never again at this store.

I arrived the next morning at 715, just as my wife called to inform me that WalMart had called her to cancel the appointment, as they did not have any technicians in the shop today. They said I could leave the car, as a technician may be coming in at 11am. I did not leave my car. I called at 11, was told the technician did not come in, but someone could come in later that day. I made an appoint for 2pm at Town Fair Tire instead. Hey Walmart - if you don't have any techs, don't jerk your customers around by making appointments you aren't going to keep. Maybe pay your techs a reasonable wage and you might get some that want to work for you. Just my $0.02.

All sites including Toyota, Cooper Tires, Tire rack, etc. and theirs when I purchased confirmed they were a fit. After driving 30 miles for my appointment it took them over an hour to say they couldn't mount them due to the factory tire size on the door jamb was different. First the manager overrode the mechanics and said we were good. But 45 minutes later when I check up the manager sided with the mechanics because some vague reference book they had said the size I had showed on aluminum wheels. I guess Sears missed that 8 years and 60,000 miles ago with the same size tires as purchased, even though they saw them on the vehicle. The folks that helped me were very nice and accommodating considering this store has them running around like the proverbial chicken. Fortunately one counter person suggested going to The Tire Guys down the street. They were great. Had my tires on and drove away 45 minutes later. While I waited at Walmart I observed a family of senior citizens wait almost an hour for them to check out a screw in one of their tires. After 15 minutes of them seeing their car on the rack they were told no screw. They had written down the wrong tire location at the counter, and it took about 45 more minutes to just remove it. I will not ever even think about anything besides buying tires there.

While visiting Portsmouth, Sullivan Tire told me I needed 4 new tires and I had 5/32 the tread left. I knew they were full of s$&@ because I had no indication of tire wear from my regular service providers. But as a woman with 3 small kids in tow they saw an opportunity. 2 independents have said i have plenty of tread left and my plugged tire works great. This location is crooks.

There are never enough open registers to check out and Friday thru Sunday forget it - the lines are very long and don't move because there are so few open registers. It's almost all self check out and usually only about 1/2 of the registers are active. I stopped going there on weekends. Many employees really take their time and even congregate to speak among themselves (in some foreign language) while ignoring the customers. The shelves are not properly stocked and prices are not accurate. Sale items are not properly marked; I bought some kitchen items recently that were marked on sale. When I checked out every item rang up at full price not the displayed sale price. The store always seems to be low on stock or running out of things. And I feel like I'm in some foreign country when I'm in the store. Avoid this place if you can.

The part itself is between 100-150 dollars online, so apparently i am paying for the entire service centers groceries all week!. A few years before this, They did work on one of my tires and lost my hubcap, didnt replace it or give me any money for it. I went to Sullivans in Plymouth for decades, they were always good with service, this Sullivans is horrific and will nickle and dime you, lie to you and take you for everything you've got ; just check the other reviews. I am a local and make damn sure to tell people never to go here. They are a stain on the neighborhood.

I was a little nervous about using a new shop, but my fears were immediately allayed. I called for an appointment and got one the very next day. A few hours after leaving the car, I got a call explaining what repairs were needed, and also what maintenance was recommended, with a very clear explanation of both, and a price for each. The repairs were completed the next day. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient, and I was delighted to learn that Sullivan Tire is an employee-owned business. Then it got even better. My check-engine light came on again, after just a few miles of driving. I called the shop and again, I got an appointment right away. They addressed the problem immediately, test drove the car, and had it back to me within a couple of hours. And there was no charge. This is my garage from now on!
