Got a nail in my tire. Went to WalMart just to have it repaired. Arrived at about 3pm. Was told the…read moretechnicians would be leaving at 330 (even though the hours are clearly posted that the auto center closes at 8pm), so probably no chance it would be done today, but I could leave it and they would fix it first thing in the morning. Good thing I opted to schedule a 7am appointment instead of leaving the car! I arrived the next morning at 715, just as my wife called to inform me that WalMart had called her to cancel the appointment, as they did not have any technicians in the shop today. They said I could leave the car, as a technician may be coming in at 11am. I did not leave my car. I called at 11, was told the technician did not come in, but someone could come in later that day. I made an appoint for 2pm at Town Fair Tire instead. Hey Walmart - if you don't have any techs, don't jerk your customers around by making appointments you aren't going to keep. Maybe pay your techs a reasonable wage and you might get some that want to work for you. Just my $0.02.

This is about the Auto Center only. The rest of the store is OK. Very disappointed in management…read moreand policy of this one. Bought tires @ Walmart.com and scheduled installation. All sites including Toyota, Cooper Tires, Tire rack, etc. and theirs when I purchased confirmed they were a fit. After driving 30 miles for my appointment it took them over an hour to say they couldn't mount them due to the factory tire size on the door jamb was different. First the manager overrode the mechanics and said we were good. But 45 minutes later when I check up the manager sided with the mechanics because some vague reference book they had said the size I had showed on aluminum wheels. I guess Sears missed that 8 years and 60,000 miles ago with the same size tires as purchased, even though they saw them on the vehicle. The folks that helped me were very nice and accommodating considering this store has them running around like the proverbial chicken. Fortunately one counter person suggested going to The Tire Guys down the street. They were great. Had my tires on and drove away 45 minutes later. While I waited at Walmart I observed a family of senior citizens wait almost an hour for them to check out a screw in one of their tires. After 15 minutes of them seeing their car on the rack they were told no screw. They had written down the wrong tire location at the counter, and it took about 45 more minutes to just remove it. I will not ever even think about anything besides buying tires there.

It's a shame that they cannot compete with Amazon when they have so many physical store locations. Walmart you should use your stores as hubs for deliveries as well as retail locations. Poor execution if you're already doing this. Problems are self-created. Drive into the parking lot of the Salem store and on the right side of the building it says 'pick up'. Common sense says if you buy something online this is where you go get your merchandise. Nope. This is where you go to get your online grocery order. Walmart how much of your business is online grocery pick up in comparison with non-grocery items? I know for me personally when I grocery shop I don't think Walmart. Customer Service is dependent on the person waiting on you. I entered my order at the customer service kiosk and waited..waited..waited. The store greeter saw me waiting and when I asked she wouldn't call anyone to help me. Poor attitude. I had to go wait in the Customer Service line (and wait yet again). They called for help. Reward your Associates for good performance; it will pay you back ten-fold. Your website is nothing like Amazon. The 'feel' of your stores are like walking into a 1970's K-mart.

Just before the visit, a strange noise started coming from the rear of the car--something completely unrelated to the scheduled work. Matt and the team didn't miss a beat. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had everything taken care of within a couple of hours. The turnaround time was impressive, the price was more than fair, and the level of service was top-notch. Matt was incredibly helpful, professional, and kept me in the loop the entire time. A++++ across the board--for service, pricing, and customer care. Highly recommend!

They told me they would be replacing the entire thing and then gave me a Quote about 1k. However the quote changed when i went to pick it up. It came out to around 2.6k . The part itself is between 100-150 dollars online, so apparently i am paying for the entire service centers groceries all week!. The best part is they didnt even replace the entire catalytic converter, only half of it, then telling me the other half I should keep an eye on as its starting to rot. I was beyond livid. A few years before this, They did work on one of my tires and lost my hubcap, didnt replace it or give me any money for it. I went to Sullivans in Plymouth for decades, they were always good with service, this Sullivans is horrific and will nickle and dime you, lie to you and take you for everything you've got ; just check the other reviews. I am a local and make damn sure to tell people never to go here. They are a stain on the neighborhood.
