Not to mention eternally relieved to have finally completed a state inspection. What would otherwise be classified as an innocuous, yet necessary tradition, you would be surprised how difficult it is to find a place to get a proper state inspection done IF you're new to the area and not quite sure where to go. Worse yet....if you happen to have tint on your front windows like I did, you'd be hard pressed to find a place that will even perform said inspection, as it apparently violates NH state law. Anyway, this place is fast, efficient, and the staff are very accommodating. They even have a spiffy little waiting area with coffee and everything. Also, they accept Apple Pay. Which....I didn't realize until AFTER I already paid them with my card. See, they have one of those scanners that displays the option as the total is presented. I told the lady at the front desk they should probably post a sticky on the front door mentioning as much. This is such a convenient spot for me to get my state inspection and whatever else done because it's so close to where I live. And affordable? You bet your ass they are! I have been a VIP customer for years. Maybe more than 10…read more They make a lot of mistakes. Over the years, I have been willing to let it go because they are reasonably friendly and try to help. That unfortunately does not overcome the severe deficiency in making sure their work is good. VIP example mistakes: has failed to tighten wheel nuts, oil drain plugs. They have damaged my car using impact wrench where they should not (spare mount). The most recent VIP mistake: I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotate prior to a road trip. One of the wheel lugs were not torqued fully. They were snug, not tight. This condition is well known to cause fatigue failure of wheel studs. Happened to me. See the pics. Think 80 mph, Florida Freeway, nighttime, Florida aggressive drivers. It could have been a bad wreck triggered by the wheel coming off at speed. When I called VIP, they seemed most concerned with denial of responsibility. I was pissed because their work nearly resulted in a incredibly dangerous situation. People die from high speed wrecks and VIP seemed more concerned with denying responsibility. After all these years, I am done with these people. The lack of concern that they induced a dangerous situation is not acceptable. If you use these people to do work on your car, do yourself a favor, go buy a torque wrench and double check their work. Their words saying they check their work are not matched by actual results. Bottom line. These folks are risky and you might get a nasty surprise. Maybe even crash and die. PS. The VIP customer service responds to these YELP reviews are totally hollow. Look at other reviews. My experience with VIP is not unique. If they really fixed their shortcomings, all the bad reviews will be old.

This shop did not pass my car for minimal tint and I mean I did not even know it had tint, that is how minor this tint is!!! Car has passed this same inspection several times before and I have not changed anything or done anything to the windows. There were several other cars in their garage with darker tint than mine and he said well, they are not here for an inspection. he handed me the law that explicitly says that "the vehicle cannot have aftermarket tinting on the windshield or on the windows to the left or right of the driver." But the tint they failed me for is on the back windows not the front or the driver sides. What a joke! I do not recommend bringing your car here for an inspection. BTW- Thank you NH police for all you do, I do appreciate you, do not appreciate this shop.

I brought it in due to engine light and misfiring. They did about $3500 worth of work, everything from new plugs and wires to a whole new catalytic, over those 4-5 months, and it still never solved the misfiring. I kept taking it back for the same issue and finally realized they were never going to fix it. I took it to another shop locally and they fixed it completely within a week. When I approached the shop for a refund, they were rude and took no responsibility, even blamed me for taking to another shop and said they owed me nothing. Now I am seeking legal support in attempt to recover some of the wasted money. They had a lot of turnover in management and techs, but they should still stand behind their work. Extremely disappointing how poorly I was treated and I don't want anyone else to get played either.
