They sorrowfully informed me that my tranny needed a complete rebuild for ~ $2K, and it might cost even more if the torque converter was bad. I didn't have Two Large burning a hole in my pocket so I went to Northeast Transmission for a second opinion. They performed their diagnostic and told me the transmission was fine and my problem was due to an engine misfire. Not only did they give me the OBD codes for the misfire issue but they didn't even charge me for the diagnosis! I was very impressed with their expertise and honesty and strongly recommend Northeast Transmission. But as for those guys at "AAM__" . . . . .

So, I did. We had a long discussion, during which Farooq asked all the right detailed questions, so that he had a clear idea of what I wanted, and what I didn't want. To me, this is an extremely important step to ensure that everybody is on the same page for what was going to be done, with no surprises at the end. During the project, Farooq and his team kept me updated on their progress, including sending me a large number of in-process photos depicting each step in the process. When the project was complete, I had exactly what I wanted. Farooq and his team are extremely experienced professionals in the work that they perform. I will say, however, if you are looking for a 'deal' or 'discounted' work, then Go Auto is not for you. Top quality work costs money, so if you are looking for top quality work, then you need to be prepared to pay for it. I wholeheartedly recommend Go Auto for folks who are interested in installing performance mods on their vehicles.

Leaking coolant line, spark plugs not torqued to spec, tune was very rich causing issues etc etc I found 40+ owners in the area after going to go auto and come to find out it's just a money grab shop with mediocre level work and the shop cars are all the owners personal cars and he even mechanics lien someone's car out from under them and sold to his brother. Just too much shady stuff going on to let it slide. I would recommend avoiding at all cost.

He was more than capable of fixing it but because it was an electrical issue that had a recall, and rather than having us pay for the repair, he referred us to the dealership. Since then, we have been back for my husband's car and again, he was very thorough, explained the issue and was able to properly fix the issue.
