Went to buy a mustang. First salesman was playing golf on his phone while he was talking to me…read more Second one (Matt) acted like I was wasting his time. Anyway a week later I bought my new mustang GT at Irwin's ford in Laconia they were awesome. I guess they didn't really want to sell that car. Also, I used to buy my parts for my two F350 company trucks (2012) (2017) after that experience I think I'll start getting them in Portsmouth.

I brought my 2020 F350 Lariat 6.7L Powerstroke to Rochester Ford for it's first 10k service. When…read morethe truck was returned to me, they told me it was all set. Since I always check the dip stick for the proper oil level after someone else does an oil change on all my vehicles, I pulled into a Lowe's parking lot in Rochester a couple miles away to make sure the oil was clean and filled to the proper level. When I pulled the dip stick, the oil appeared filthy as if it was never changed. So I took it back to the service tech and showed him the dipstick and asked him to explain why the oil was still so dirty. After I suggested the tech not make up any lame nonsense, you wouldn't believe the nonsense I heard...; I was told it was ordinary in diesel engines that a fresh oil change looks dirty...Then the story got better...that it has to do with high compression diesel engines and the use of DEF... I quickly jumped into my vehicle and decided to perform my own oil change which quickly revealed I was right...THEY NEVER CHANGED THE OIL !!!! I then elevated my complaint to the president of Rochester Ford who delegated my complaint to the service manager... Again, more nonsense stories about high compression diesel motors, blah blah blah... I tried to tell them that I wasn't ignorant, that I knew basic maintenance and diesel theory, and that I wasn't interested in their condescending lessons on diesel motors ...I asked them to stop making up nonsense and requested they reimburse the Ford Pass points they took to pay for the service. They offered a free oil change at 15k miles which I rejected since I'd be then driving a total of 15k miles on the original oil. Unsatisfied by the previous two service representatives, I phoned again to the president, Todd Berkowitz, who continued the nonsense, denying my claim and refusing to look at the photos I took that clearly document the dirty oil. These guys cannot be trusted and worse, they treat customers as if they are ignorant. After my conversation with the president Berkowitz, I now know for sure this organization is 'rotting from the head'...My advice is to take your vehicle to ANY OTHER service destination.

Giving one star because our overall experience with buying a car here has been miserable. We…read moreinitially had a good experience with our sales guy Dave and purchased a 4 year old Hyundai Tucson at the going rate was for that make and model and mileage. We live in Maine and bought the car on our way down to an event in Boston, so it worked out. Legitimately 30 minutes after leaving the dealership, the check engine light turns on. We take it to Autozone and got the code reading. We are in contact with Dave who wants us to come back to the dealership (which we can't do because of other obligations and we live 3 hours away) and he tells us that they will handle it/pay for it since they don't like doing business like that. We take it to a dealer by us and get it diagnosed and it comes back at costing $2,400. Now all of the sudden Rochester doesn't know if they can approve to fix it, but they'll cover the $200 diagnostic. We go back and forth with them for weeks and they keep pushing us off and saying they will call back (which they don't) until finally they say the Allstate warranty they pushed us to buy actually covers it. We call the Allstate and they tell us it covers it. We then find out the original place that diagnosed the vehicle doesn't accept third party warranties. We call around and the only place willing to take it is 1.5 hours away. We drive it there to drop it off, and then they tell us Allstate is actually refusing to cover the issue. We then have to battle Allstate to get it approved since they told us originally it would be. Finally they agree and the part gets fixed. We have since been calling RochesterVW every week to get that original $200 diagnostic reimbursed like they said they would and every single time they either push us off or say they've sent it. That was six months ago. Still no check. On top of all that, the car didn't have any of the standard tire changing tools in the trunk. Hard to feel like we weren't completely scammed by this company. We usually buy our vehicles in cash from private sale to avoid dealerships, but this was a stretch purchase for us since we were having a baby and wanted a nice newer, safer car that wouldn't have any immediate issues since it was low milage and coming from a dealer. I strongly advise avoiding this business.

I hate my VW. It had a check engine light at 6,000 miles. Getting a loaner car was the equivalent…read moreof reasoning with a toddler (so for sake of keeping the peace I paid for a rental car out of pocket) & after getting a shutter motor replaced, the next morning the car locked with the keys in it. The VW app also decided to stop working - can't remote start, lock or unlock. How does a car lock with both keys inside & the app malfunction after getting repairs?! Worst car I've ever had. Service & sales are kind, but nothing about this experience is good.
