Should be called Big Lame. A sports bar that can't change their TVs. It was on college softball, and they couldn't change it to ESPN to watch the friggin NBA playoffs. The patron next to me said their TV situation is F'ed. I asked the waitress how long this has been going on, and she said since December 2024! Inexcusable to be a sports bar and not be able to show an NBA game on ESPN. Also the Ambience is off, it is way too bright in there on evening. I went for burger week, and actually the burger was phenomenal. Tasted like a good quality Chili cheese burger. Drinks were just fine but a little pricey. Tried calling them on a Thursday multiple times to see when their Kitchen closed, no one would pick up. Bottom line: Food is pretty good, ambience is way off, a sports bar that can't change their TVs and way too bright inside. I think this place would be awesome with better management. Great concept and solid food, just don't depend on Big Lame to show your game.

As I arrived, I noticed a parking deck right next to the restaurant. Since I was dropped off this time, I didn't have to worry about parking, but I later learned it is paid parking and Big Game does not validate. Street parking is also an option, if you can find a spot. I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was the spacious interior with a large bar and plenty of seating. I spotted my friend right away, and we grabbed a high-top table. The place was filled with TVs, I expected one super big screen on a main wall, but instead, there were multiple TVs, of varying sizes, scattered everywhere. No matter where you sat, you were not going to miss the game. Our server stopped by with paper menus that had clearly seen better days. We checked out the beer list (about 15 - 20 options, including the usual suspects and a some craft choices), and I went with the Night on Ponce from Three Taverns. The drinks came out quickly, and we settled in, talking and watching the games. When it came time to order food, I chose the buffalo chicken sandwich without blue cheese, and my friend went for the grouper sandwich with fries. The food also came out quickly, and the portions were huge, so big I had to cut my sandwich in half and could barely finish it. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. Definitely the right pick for me. We stayed for a while, ordered a few more rounds, and enjoyed the games. Big Game is a solid choice for watching multiple matchups at once. The energy in the room was great, with fans from all different teams getting along and having a good time. Our server, Ryan K, was busy but always around whenever we needed him. He took great care of us. Overall, it was a very good first-time experience, and I'll absolutely be back. 4.5 rating

My husband and I was visiting ATL. We wanted to see Sunday games so we chose a Sports Bar by our hotel. First of all the sports bar has so much potential. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. I saw a comfortable chair posted on their site, Those type of seats NO longer exist there. There were booths up against the wall however higher tables are in front of you blocking the view. Majority of the tables are for a party of 8 or more. Not every game was showing and the tv's were small. We watched morning and afternoon games and purchased food through out our stay. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Yet another coupon book find!!! This place was really good. It wasn't crowded at all. The inside is really big. They have old school video games and funny signs. Server was multitasking but still did a great job. Ordered two burgers and a squash salad. Burgers were great but I would not get the squash salad again. The taste was nice but the texture was off. I wouldn't mind trying their brunch.

Maybe we just went on an off night but we were throughly disappointed with our meal. We both got the bison burger with fries. Spinach dip was the appetizer. The dip was just bland. When the burgers were brought out, the fries were cold. So, we had to ask for a new batch. When those arrived, they were super salty. We didn't bother with sending them back because we felt bad for the waitress. It seemed like she was working alone so we didn't want to keep running her back and forth. Since the fries were at least hot, we tried to shake the excess salt off as much as we could and eat them quickly! The burger was good. It came out hot. I didn't eat too much of my burger because the salty fries pretty much ruined my appetite With that being said, the ambiance was nice. I feel like it's probably a great place for drinks. We didn't take before pics but this is what was left over.

Meatloaf sandwich was absolutely incredible, probably best pub meal I've had. Good solid comfort food with upscale flavors - Wagyu beef, incredible sauce, cheese, and this broccoli garnish that works really well. Duck fat fries on the side. Yum! Nachos were solid as well. Interior vibe is really interesting - think upscale big game lodge crossed with a sports bar. Live edge oak tables, comfy lodge chairs, but TVs all over. Good music, full bar, friendly staff. Biggest complaint is my Guinness poor (served in a Guinness glass no less) was quite shite without the requisite 90 second pause that makes a great poor. And yeah, they probably have a couple too many tables and the chairs could be straightened a bit. But this was super delicious, fun atmosphere, and very well priced. Great addition to the Atlanta scene.

Not a huge fan of this place, it's like sports bar meets fine dining with a twist of venison. The area is nice, the seating is convenient and there are big TVs everyone for your game viewing pleasure, but the ambiance isn't really my style. It's hard to place. The food was unique in that it's all game meat inspired. Antelope, venison, duck, etc. I should have gone with something safer like duck but I wanted to be adventurous and try antelope stew but I deeply regretted it. The meat very much tastes gamely and has a bitter after taste. I'd say for the eater with more delicate palates, go for something more neutral like duck fries and venison burger. Overall interesting experience, don't regret coming here to check it out but probably won't be back.

I decided to check out this spot on a fairly warm and sunny day. The bar is the main focal point of the restaurant, with roughly 20 seats give or take. There is also lots of tables and chairs around in the main dining area. I love natural light so the large windows on 75% of the walls was a plus for me. There is also an outdoor patio seating area that I can see being packed in the spring and summer months. They were operating off of a limited food menu and did not have an established drink menu but the bartender (Leslie) said she could make me anything I wanted to drink as long as they had the ingredients. I ordered a Hibiscus Margarita that the bartender recommended, the Ballpark Hotdog, and I opted to try the Frog Legs since she said they didn't actually look like frog (I'm a very visual eater) and I wanted to try something new. Well, the verdict is in, and frog is absolutely NOT for Liselle (shakes head from side to side Undisputed Shannon style: Naaaah). It was tempura fried, but the texture of the actual meat was not for your girl. The Ballpark Hotdog was delicious as it was a Nathan's hotdog which is a fave of mine and the Hibiscus Margarita was also good, a bit tart but nothing a little simple syrup couldn't balance out. The service was good and Leslie was very friendly and conversational. The manager was also quite pleasant and I will definitely be back to try more of their food and drink offerings once available.

    Classic Wedge Salad

Atmosphere: Big Game is a spacious restaurant/sports bar in Old Fourth Ward, but it was somewhat empty when we went on a Friday night. The restaurant itself had a lot of seating and TVs, and the bar was comfortable to sit at. Service: We ordered our meal to-go with a bartender, but it took a very long time for our food to come out. We received our food after around 25-30 minutes, which we thought was too long for a basic salad. Our food probably wasn't being made until 20 minutes after we ordered, even though there weren't many people there. Food: We ordered a Classic Wedge Salad. We weren't expecting a fancy salad since we were just looking for a fresh bite. However, we were a bit let down with our meal. Maybe this wasn't communicated well, but we requested the cheese to be put on the side of our salad. From past experience, especially when it comes to to-go salads, dressing would usually be put on the side, but in our case, the bleu cheese crumble and dressing were both smothered on top of the salad and put in serving containers on the side. This made the salad pretty difficult to eat, as we were unable to adjust the amount of cheese and dressing on our dish. The cheese crumble and dressing were pretty overbearing, and needless to say, we didn't even touch the extra side servings of the cheese. Otherwise, the lettuce and bacon were fine but not memorable. Overall: Between the long wait and the disappointing simple salad, we would have to give Big Game a 2-star rating. Although our experience this time was not great, we hope that in the future, we get a chance to try some of their signature dishes or drinks in order to get a more accurate representation of their dining experience. However, for now, it is worth noting that our salad from Big Game wasn't great.

    Buffalo chicken sandwich

Great neighborhood spot. Quality food and genuinely nice staff. If you have tried and love Bantam (same owners) it's worth taking a stroll up the street to check it out! Monster delish buffalo chicken sandwich every time.

Great place to catch some sports. Lots of TV's. Barkeeps are friendly...and there lots of room. Parking can be tricky.

I've never had a bad experience here in person, the servers are friendly and prompt. I'll be honest and say I'm only ever here for lunch, so I don't know what the dinner rush is like. The lunch atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed, with some sports excitement if a prime game is being played. The beer & cider list is rotating and extensive, they even usually have several varieties of mead available, which is pretty cool. The food is well-executed bar food that comes out nice and hot. The chicken tenders are some of the best I've ever had- the batter isn't too heavy, it's flavorful, has all the crunchy nooks and crannies you could want, and comes with their delicious house-made honey mustard. The fries are good but I always get the onion straws for my side, I'm a sucker for onion straws and these are perfectly breaded without being greasy. The mozzarella sticks are massive, a little tricky to maneuver but so worth it since they're made in house and not just your typical frozen bag kind. Another app I really enjoy is the mini corn dogs that also come with the yummy honey mustard. On my last visit I tried the jalapeño bacon cheese bites which were tasty. Salty, which is to be expected, with a combo of both cheddar and cream cheese that made for a nice gooey center. Not exactly a destination restaurant, but if you want simple and delicious they got it!

Eggrolls - disgusting, and I mean absolutely awful, even the sauce is terrible. Ribeye - only seasoned with black pepper, extremely heavy char on the outside, not cooked thoroughly or evenly on the inside, terrible taste overall. Steamed broccoli - maybe flashed steamed at best, and it tasted like dirt. Fries - were ok. Mashed potatoes and gravy - were pretty good. Chopped salad - good but extremely light on the toppings, it's mostly just lettuce. Other than the salad and the potatoes, everything got thrown away. Complete waste of money. I can't say I'll even ever step foot inside that place again this food was so bad.
