I saw a few games at "old" stadium back in the 1980's. I have fond memories of those teams which had stalwarts like Craig Nettles, Willie Randolph, Ron Guidry, Goose Gossage, and of course, Mr. October, Reggie Jackson. TBH, I was very impressed overall with my experience when the Yanks played and subsequently crushed, the Rockies on 9/10/26. Other cities need to pay attention to the transportation options to get here. For the majority of folks, we take the subway to the 161st stop; but there are also buses and I did notice other fans taking ride shares (Uber/Lyft). And for a large urban area, the bag policy is QUITE generous. They allow fans to bring in a bag of 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches dimensions. A full list of what's prohibited is listed here: https://www.mlb.com/yankees/ballpark/information/entry But of note, they allow reusable water bottles since there are water filing stations and...wait for it...outside food! Washington Nationals ballpark, by comparison has a very draconian policy since that club wants you to pay $8 for a bottle of water and $15 for a hotdog!!! My brother and I paid $18 for a 24 oz beer - which if you think about it is $9/beer and isn't bad for a MLB ball park. You pay that much for a beer in most major cities. But being back in the house of Babe Ruth, Don Mattingly, Derek Jeter, MarianoRivera, and now Aaron Judge is just a magical experience. Our "cheap" seats of $30 in the upper deck along the first base line, still provided a great vantage point. Our section erupted with Anthony Volpe hit a grand slam in the 7th inning and sent most of the fans exiting the stadium. Every baseball fan at some point in their lives, needs to make a pilgrimage to the Bronx and experience a game at one of the truly great stadiums in the world.

To make the experience even better I got to see one of the greatest rappers alive, who just so happens to be from New York. If I ever make it back to Yankee Stadium, this is the only place I want to sit. The view is phenomenal and if you were attending a baseball game it would be comparable to sitting right behind home plate. You also get access to a private lounge with a variety of food options, multiple bars, and an incredibly friendly staff. Now, as for the concert itself if you didn't make it to one of the three nights at Yankee Stadium you truly missed something special. I mean, on night one, he opened the show by bringing out Beyoncé to perform Can't Knock the Hustle. For those who get it, get it! Part of the facilities at Hostos Community College in the Bronx, this venue was where I found…read moremyself on a frigid winter day, attending a Lunar New Year performance headlined by the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, along with a couple other cultural acts. Walking up to the building, it's part of the Hostos campus, a couple blocks south of 149th St - Grand Concourse 4 train subway stop. For other transportation, there are bus stops and I saw street and structure parking close by. Entering the building on Grand Concourse there were staff in the foyer security area asking if visitors were there for the show, then directing them to the right which led to an open atrium. This space is open to the few floors above, which looked like classrooms and offices; on the right were a small box office and a couple doors to the auditorium. I liked how festive the atrium was decorated. The line was short to pick up to tickets, within 5 minutes of arriving I was headed to my seat. Staff was friendly inside the theater, welcoming and ready to bring each attendee to their seat. A little mixup on where my seat was located at first though easily resolved. The theatre is pretty large, with about 800-900 in cushioned seats. Although the show started about 20 minutes late, the performances went smoothly for the most part and I enjoyed the choreography snd beautiful costumes. The facilities were solid and very sufficient for the show that day. After the show, the performers came out to greet the audience in the lobby, they also had tables set up before and after the show with Chinese New Year merch. Bathrooms available.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and the production quality is top notch. They often host companies that give voice to POC. I especially love when they have ballet and flamenco performances. The theatre is not large but it's not small either (I'd guess that it sits around 400 people). I love their mission of making the arts accessible and I think more people should take advantage of this great resource.

Sorry, but a non-degree granting program that is still in it's first few years is simply not "THE #1 musical theatre program in NYC!!!" The education at this institution is inconsistent. Students were promised many things that they never received in regards to both education and extracurriculars. Things like attending Broadway Shows, Industry Classes, Resume Building Classes, VOCAL LESSONS... all promised but never received. Overall very disappointing program. It's so unfortunate to see so many students attend this program just to see them leave with their dreams crushed.
