The seating is perfect for even me. Good room for my knees not too feel cramped. The sound system is excellent and clear. It made perfect to hear each instrument. Excellent parking lot. Can come in the back and front to get in the venue. They sell snacks and beverages prior to the show in the lobby. Great date night, girls night, if looking for a comedy show, music concert, or play type event. Check the calendar and buy tickets on line or at the box office prior to the event. I've been attending shows at the Paper Mill Playhouse for many years. I've never seen a bad show…read morehere. And a couple have gone to Broadway next! New Jersey is so lucky to have this awesome theatre. They have comfortable seats, nice bathroom facilities, a variety of concessions available for purchase, and talented performers. The Papermill's restaurant just reopened after an extensive renovation and revamp, or there are several yummy restaurants a short walk away from the theater. I recently ate at the Italian restaurant Basilica in Millburn and highly recommend checking it out for dinner before or after your Papermill show.

4/16/26 Update: Came to the Papermill to see "1776"…read more Outside, The Papermill has several high top tables where you can enjoy a snack prior to the performance. Security- April 16, 2026 was an unusually hot sweltering day. Specifically, it was like 90°. There was an extremely long line entering the theatre. Understandably, everyone must go through security. There were a large number of elderly people. I think there needs to be a separate line for people who need assistance. A few of these people were let in ahead of some people, then it just stopped. MPAC (Morristown) has excellent security for people entering the theater. The Papermill should look at their protocol. The first half of "1776" was a little too drawn out and chaotic. Of course, it was politicians arguing. However, I think somehow more singing would've made it more enjoyable. All the actors did have the pipes for wonderful singing. Anyway, the second half of the show was much more enjoyable. The staging and costumes were great for that time period. I understand in July 2026, the Papermill Playhouse will be going under a full renovation. Looking forward to the upcoming season and new renovations.

They were wonderful and tasteful. I haven't enchiladas like that in a long time. I had churros for dessert. Loved that they gave a bowl of chocolate with them as an option to dip. The decor is spectacular. From pictures of musicians on the wall and the waiting area has two benches one with musician mug shot and the other with the last supper with musicians who passed on.

It's just the right balance of training and fun for my daughter. She does a combo ballet/tap/hip hop class and loves it. The sisters/owners are amazing, they are just so kind and always answer any questions I have no matter how busy they are...and it is busy, especially on Saturday mornings! Nadine at the front is super nice, I really love this place. They take it seriously but it's not a "dance moms" nightmare. They really inspire my daughter and I'm so glad I found them. I love it and I hope she stays dancing with them for awhile. I can't beat it for the quality and price.

The restrooms are up on 2nd floor, so the grateful, less-sure-of-foot attendee might (discreetly) be allowed use of the private, employee facility downstairs. Smiles everywhere, and I REALLY liked seeing the security team! After the performance, two police cars were also at the curb out front and I asked an officer if I could stand there to try to identify the Uber I had called for. The officer told me to wait back on the sidewalk and HE would watch for and stop my Uber driver! He did, and even opened the car door for me! Sweet N.J.cop!
