They've gone up, but so has everywhere and everything else these days. Still, a good experience. The leather, heated, reclining chairs are the best part. I enjoyed the movie in comfort and cleanliness. I also like to pop in and purchase my tickets (select my preferred seat) in advance at the kiosk on the right of the entrance. That's the best and only way to avoid unnecessary additional transaction fees when you purchase online via their website.

The sound system is first-rate, the ticket and concession prices are reasonable and it's conveniently located. They also show interesting indie films that you can't see in big theaters. It only takes me about 20 minutes to get there from Elizabeth and there's always ample parking (though on days with a big movie opening you may have to walk a bit across the lot). This place may be over ten years old, but the owners have kept it clean and the structure is not deteriorating. Even the exterior looks like they clean it every now and then! The theater has made some changes over time. They now sell merchandise including plushes, keychains, t-shirts and of course the very popular "buckets" that various movies are putting out. This location also tends to give out merch with certain premieres (ex: for "Transformers One" they gave out a free comic book). They also have Freestyle Coke machines which allow you to create drink mixtures (which I really enjoy doing). AMC has also changed one of its theaters into a Dolby Theater with plush, reclining leather seats and a large screen with a wonderful sound system that is fantastic! The staff at this location rotates quite a bit so it's hard to make a general statement that the staff is great, but what I will say is that whatever training they're doing it's being done well because the staff is always helpful and they deserve kudos for that. I can only assume from the architecture that this intimate theater used to be a church. I went…read morethere this past weekend to see a friend perform. While I had an aisle seat, I found it difficult to see around the person in front of me. In addition to being short, there is no downward slope to the rows of seating at Dreamcatcher. The only other comment I have has to do w/ the restroom in the lounge area. It's a single restroom with a large window. The lower half of the window is frosted, but the upper half isn't...That wouldn't be much of a problem if there wasn't a mirror on the opposite wall. The theater has a three story house as a neighbor and the third floor window can see the reflection in the mirror, therefore the person on the toilet. I admit I was disturbed by that. Also, not sure if this is true for all performances and it wasn't a big deal for me, but when we went to Dreamcatcher on Saturday night, the audience was 75% adults 55+.
