The building itself is on the site of the old General Dynatics factory and pays tribute to it's history with a very industrial appearance and feel. Seating approximately 200 patrons, the acoustics were fine for Sunday's John Jorgenson/ Herb Pederson bluegrass event. Comfortable seats and a friendly staff of volunteers made for a pleasant afternoon. Start time at 3pm was nice. Highly recommended and hope to return. 1

The quality of the performances is not quite at the Broadway level, but the prices are good and the theatre is quite intimate. Snacks during intermission are only $1, which can't be beat. And they have a nice selection of food and drink. Parking is not easy, but it ends up manageable. I highly recommend becoming a member of the theatre, as the yearly membership price is comparable to the cost of one ticket. There are many opportunities for volunteers to usher or help out in other ways. There is a handicapped bathroom on the main floor, but it seems that it would be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair or walker in the tiny aisles.

We saw Pete the Cat. This was a friendly sensory performance. Upon arrival, children were given a bag with chips, juicy juice, napkin and a Kean university sensory ball. Nice touch Kean! In the lobby you had various stations set up for children. These stations provided hands on activities for children such as creating their own bookmark to bouncing on a sensory ball. College students participated assisting guests. The theater is not huge. It is big enough to sit comfortably and have ample walking space. We sat near the back and even from there we had a good view of the performance. I recommend purchasing your tickets at their box office. You can purchase tickets online; yet, you can avoid the processing fee if done in person.

If today's performance was any indication of the quality of what goes on there, I am going back a lot. Community theater is alive and well in Somerset. The acting, vocals, music, sets and costuming was beyond. I have seen many, many Broadway performances and, quite honestly at $20 per ticket and avoiding the schlep into Manhattan, this offers as much if not more entertainment value. It certainly equalled or exceeded anything I have seen at Bergen PAC or Papermill. If anyone reading this review is even remotely considering attending a performance at this gem, I recommend purchasing tickets now. What a terrific way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 5 enthusiastic stars. Amazing. Really amazing.

The lobby was very small, so people had to wait outdoors to get in. The weather wasn't too bad when we were there, but if it were cold, hot or inclement, it would have been a problem.

Still wasn't sure what to expect but was super excited to attend. Surprisingly there was sufficient parking. Therefore, we walked only a few steps to the main entrance. My ticket was quickly scanned and away we went to enter. Keep in mind this is not your typical Ringley Brothers Circus or Cirque Du Soleil. It's truly a unique "Paranormal Cirque". Each actor brought such perfection to the show. Loved how they involved the audience in some scenes. I can see why it is recommended for an adult audience or children 13-17 years of age to be accompanied with an adult. They have Johnny bathrooms that are rather clean. They actually had someone near them maintaining them and offered hand sanitizer when done. Before entering the arena they had stands to buy snacks and spooking items such as masks. The decor inside and out was great! Totally spooky and Halloweenish. The story line was also awesome! Won't spoil it but it was truly unexpected. Great job Paranormal Cirque!!
