Seats were comfortable and the sound was good, for the most part. Although it wasn't an issue for us, I could imagine that seeing the artists properly could be difficult for patrons seated higher up. We were puzzled at why the (only one btw) screen above the stage had promotion for the company bringing the show and other visuals rather than showing the performers so that those farther away could have a better view. It's understood that this may have been a choice by the folks putting on the event. However, the venue is large enough that more than one screen could be helpful-then one could have whatever promotion or visuals the artist or supporting team favors and the other(s) could show the performance. There were also a couple instances of mic screech, but not a big deal. Of course food/drinks were event priced and the parking lots in the area were $30-$40, again event priced. But, there are a variety of dining options in close proximity, and it's a short walk to NJ transit. The crowd at our concert was good vibes, and the staff we encountered were all cool and helpful.

Before the game, Prudential Center hosted Fan Fest at 4pm in their outdoor lot area (Championship Plaza). There were van / truck vendors giving out NJ Devils Swag, fans were able to play games, engage in other activities & hear the live band play good music. Once we headed into Prudential Center, patrons were able to purchase food & enjoy activities from numerous vendors throughout this spacious facility. Upon entry, Prudential Center gave the first 9,000 fans a "Fan" Shirsey (T-Shirt Style Jersey) commemorating the Final Season of the "Jersey" Jersey (boy, is it comfortable). Courtesy of GEICO, from 5:30pm - 7pm, fans were able to purchase $1 hotdogs from specific food vendors (limit was 4 per person). As this was my 1st time going to a hockey game, I have to say it was electric. There are no fans like sports fans & hockey fans are something else - lol. NJ Devils vs. Ottawa Senators was a great game. As hockey is a 60-Minute game split into 3 20-Minute periods, the NJ Devils Entertainment Team kept the crowd upbeat (even when they were frustrated w/ some of the NJ Devils hockey players & were yelling from their seats) throughput breaks & intermission(s). We were able to ride the Zamboni (so much fun) & to see the NJ Devils players "backstage" before they headed back to the hockey rink. The dopest part was when NJ Devils #13 Nico Hischier scored the winning goal, leading the NJ Devils to beat the Ottawa Senators! He was interviewed & it was a wonderful way to end the game. @prucenter prucenter.com One can go onto the Prudential Center's website to view & purchase tickets for Sporting Events, Comedy Shows, Family Shows, etc.

The theater has table and chairs and you could be sat with strangers if you are by yourself or two people. Luckily my friend and I were able to snag a two person table. We had got VIP tickets so we were the first two rows. There is a 25.00 min spend here on food and or drinks. They do have specials too. As soon as we sat down the waiter asked if we were ready we were. I got the wedge salad and my friend got the cob salad. They both came out very quick. I wish though that they could turn the lights on while we eat because it did not really sit right with me that I could not see what I was eating. From the lack of light it looked like the lettuce was turkey or like old lettuce. There was bacon on top too. I asked for no bleu cheese and dressing on the side. 19.00 for a wedge is wild but it was big so I guess it makes up for it, also I mean it is NYC! I also ordered a French 75 which was nothing special. The stage and sound in this small theater was fine nothing special. It is an intimate theater that is for sure. It was my first time here. I won't be running back to see a show here though unless it is someone or something I REALLY want to see.

The venue was a bit difficult to find as per my own personal experience. Once I arrived, I was given a copy of the book as per my ticket stated I was going to receive a book. I was directed to the direction of my seat and then I took the elevator to my get there quicker as I was running a bit late. It was my first time at this opera house and I enjoyed the sound, the seats were comfortable. One thing I gotta mention is that there aren't railings on the seats so you have to watch your step carefully going up and down the seats. Probably not the most ideal situation for an elderly person not having a railing to hold yourself against to. Overall, great opera house to come and catch an interesting event. 10/10 opera house rec.

I would've thought that an opera house would have that 'luxurious' feel to it but it was mid. The operation of it needs more maturing. Seating was too tight and clumpy. The seats were not designed efficient to where you could amply see behind larger people sitting in front of you. I had to lean and sit towards the side of my seat the whole time to grasp any type of view. My back and side were hurting for days as a result. The service from the workers here were not great at all. Trash. They couldn't do their job to seat people efficiently...they were messing up on pointing to/ directing people to the correct aisle. The workers would pick and choose who to let record the performance although there was no photography allowed of any kind. What really had me disappointed was the hour and a half wait to start the show!! It was absolutely unbecoming. The show was expected to start at 7pm. The first act, which to me was very unexpected, didn't start until around 8:15pm, over an hour after show time. There was an intermission that was more than 20 mins. The main act didn't start until 9:15 pm and lasted until 11 pm. There was no way I was going to make any type of dinner reservation that night. UNACCEPTABLE. Idk what was up but tickets were way too pricey to receive that poor quality in service. Not to mention there were no programs or pamphlets available with an itinerary of any kind nor further information about the show or acts. Just weird. Felt like a rinky dink off-broadway theatre for indie music bands. People were strolling in late and also directly during the act(s). It was very distracting to have people going back and forth between the aisles during the performance. It was a performance where you would want all of your undivided attention to be able to tap into your subconscious mind and I felt that people were inconsiderate of themselves and others during a time to be mindful. Now don't get me wrong. Andre 3000 and his hand picked crew was AMAZING and the only thing saving this review. The flutes, drums, gongs, etc was like a large live sound healing experience. The sound quality of the acoustics and speakers were very poor. Absolutely would see him again but NEVER in this facility.

(Already, this was going well.) The theater itself is tiny, and without any amenities. The seats are just chairs lined up on risers. There is neither a concession stand, nor a bar. There IS a tiny little bathroom with a sign that says "No flushing during performance" (the theater is that small), but no sink to wash your hands. Which isn't a big deal for me because...well, look at me: proper hygiene isn't among my priorities. Despite all this (or perhaps because of it), I kind of love it. It's so unabashedly low-budget, and the performance was so brazenly ridiculous. Admittedly, I've only attended the one show at The Brick (so far), so I find it a bit hard to separate the venue from the performance. However, if Flying Snakes in 3D is any indication, this tiny little theater books thought-provoking, amusing, outlandish, avant-garde, FUN productions. They don't follow any rules, and there's something extremely enjoyable about seeing other people enjoy themselves so much on stage. Be warned: This isn't Broadway. Don't come in expecting any traditional sort of theater. I mean, I've never pelted performers with rubber snakes before. At least not during the performance, and at their behest. If you do take a chance on The Brick, as you should, I would just go in with an open mind, prepared to see a show unlike any you've seen previously. Which I think is a good thing.

Or you could spend a fraction of that on some truly original work. An innovative, intelligent, small theater. The work produced here is amongst some of the most trend setting, edge cutting, and experimental to be found in NYC, the U.S., and the world at large. And even better, if you show up to one of the last shows on a Friday or Saturday night, there is almost guaranteed to be a friendly and lively after party thrown in the theater space itself, hosted by the cast and crew. Where else are you going to see my own drunkenly performed karaoke versions of Journey, full length theater pieces about text based adventure gaming, and burlesque numbers performed by gorgeous men and women dressed up as Seven of Nine from Star Trek and Doctor Manhattan respectively, all under one roof? This sort of thing is simply not being done anywhere else. Show up or run the risk of being left in the dust of theater history. A few notes on the space. It only seats in the range of 40-50, so purchase your tickets in advance. If a show is popular, it *will* sell out. If you'd like to be part of the onstage fun, sit in the front row. Unlike myself, it has gone through renovations over the years through donations and the biggest of $100M was by the current namesake. The theater is traditionally arranged with a large orchestra seating area, 5 tiered ring balconies and a large orchestra pit in front of the stage. The promenade at the first tier level is gorgeous with a wide open rotunda and marble floors. The hanging sculptures on the stairs and on the rotunda floor are pretty impressive. The inside of the auditorium itself was equally impressive. We had a great view from our from our roomy seats in row K of the orchestra. We had seen a performance of the King and I here a few years ago, but for this recent attendance, we saw the China Ningbo Performance & Arts rendition of "Mulan" that was a limited weekend engagement of 4 performances. This was totally unlike the Americanized Disney animated film of the ancient Chinese legend. The interpretive dance choreography conveyed the story without dialogue and screens on the sides of the stage gave poetic narration before each act. I always marvel at the stage mechanics and lighting. The rotating floor panels and off stage floodlights added to the drama of the performance. The David H. Koch theater is definitely an experience in itself. I hope to see many new performances there in the future.
