My girlfriend came by and picked it up later and clothes were folded neatly, smelled pleasant and no troubles were had. I did have to haggle a little to get a few pounds taken off, since they weighed my clothes in a huge basket that I brought it in (which weighs at least a few pounds). After I mentioned something though, she quickly took off a few pounds from my cost. Despite other reviews here, the place seemed clean to me. Maybe they recently changed, but I didn't get a seedy impression from walking in here. Haven't had a chance to use the machines, so I can't comment on that, but the wash and fold service was prompt, professional and convenient: recommended.

That's why, even though I usually launder at home, I chose Monday morning last to take my wash to Laundry Time. My sad habit of procrastinating resulted in laundry piling up. Three bags --at least 3 loads at home-- would take me all day, and down and up the stairs at least 6 times. Sheets, towels, clothes. Knowing a laundromat would be quicker, and no stairs, off I went. I mentioned to someone where I was going and was told there's a laundromat much closer... on Elmwood just past North. The hundreds, thousands of times I'd driven past and I never noticed it. I'd been a few times to the Golden Dragon, and never noticed Laundry Time next to it. Now that I know, it will be my go-to whenever my wash grows too large. And I will also take my comforters there just as soon as Buffalo night time temps stop dipping into the 40s. Laundry Time has a wash and fold service. The attendant, Tamika, explained the rates by weight and times for drop off, and that comforters are flat charged by size. I have to say she was also very helpful to this short person (me) who couldn't reach the top of the washer to add soap. The rest room was neat and clean enough, though the attendant will have to unlock it for you. In all, I had a fine laundromat experience at Laundry Time. I will be tempted now and then to let my wash pile up on purpose. Oh, one last tip: if you think you want to grab lunch or supper from the Golden Dragon, it is closed on Monday. Hope I remember that next time I do my wash at Laundry Time. P.S. I noticed on posting that it says Elmwood Village location. In truth, 220 Elmwood Ave. is much closer to Allentown than it is to the Village.

No evening attendant with homeless hanging out bumming money from customers. Owner doesn't care and is primarily absent paying the couple workers under the table illegally. Place should be shutdown. Washing machines are not cleaned daily or sanitized. Most days the place looks like a disaster area. Except for the poor lady who works without assistance almost seven days a week the place needs a facelift.

That was about 6 years ago. Since then, Last Call has laundered my clothes regularly especially when there's too many clothes and I'm overwhelmed. They come pick up my funky clothes and bring them back 2 days later hot, fresh, clean and folded. Everything is done so perfectly and I feel like Samantha, when they arrive back.. as If I just twinkled my nose and they're all clean and folded and fresh.. and it's so easy, Knowing I didn't really do it on my own. Latasha Bullock and Co. really have something special here. and it's a essential service I'd recommend to any single man.. with disabilities. Last call washing my clothes makes it easier for me. The big draw for me is being able to use plastic for washer and dryer instead of putting in quarter after quarter. This laundry is always very clean. Prices to use Dexter front-load washers of the same capacities (e.g., double, maxi, mega, etc.) used to be cheaper here than at EZ Wash, but they are now more expensive. Additionally, the public computers are now gone along with a few TVs. I hope this means upgrades and not loss of amenities.

It is a tad bit annoying that you're limited to the card and that you have to give them a dollar for it. They have super large Washing machine and dryers at relatively competitive prices. The sit down area and arcade are basic. The couches and chairs are very dirty and worn out. I usually sit in my car while I wait for the comforter to be washed. I give the place 4/5 because of the being forced to purchase a laundromat card and the dirty chairs/waiting area.
