I've been going to this laundromat for a long time. It is very clean most of the time all the washers and dryers work great. They have a punch card system which benefits the customer. But what really bothers me is, there is a worker there that's been there a long time , I don't have to describe her cuz if you go there on the regular you would already know that she has no personality no customer service no compassion for older people at all. A simple clean laundromat that offers wash and fold at 79 cents a pound. I had about two weeks worth of laundry that I brought in here around 4:30p on Thursday. I paid $14 and picked it up Friday morning, everything was neatly folded into the same laundry basket that I brought it in (in plastic bags to protect from the dust). The staff (just one person) was friendly both times and this place saved me a whole lot of time, so I'm happy! One of these days, I might be back to try the machines out. Bryant Street Laundry is located in the Elmwood Village and offers both do-it-yourself as well as drop off laundry services. There are two sizes of washers and two sizes of dryers. For drop off laundry services, you can opt for the day of or as soon as possible. Be sure to check inside because they offer a discount on certain days of the week. The laundromat is clean and fairly large. The prices seem a bit steep but the machines (at least the washers) are efficient and new. Other than the price, my main issue is how slow the dryers are. It took a while for my laundry to dry. The inside has many tables and TV so you can keep yourself occupied while you wait for your laundry. While I was there, I did not see anyone on staff and was unable to find the WIFI password, which is no big deal. I really appreciated the tables. Overall, I'll definitely return and perhaps opt for the drop off laundry services in order to avoid a wait. read more

My washing machine went down for a couple of weeks and while I waited for repair and inevitable replacement, I did my laundry at Bryant St Laundry. I've been to several laundromats around Buffalo but this one is by far my favorite. I went on Saturday mornings and there was only ever 1 or 2 others there with me, plus a staff member working on their wash and fold service. Depending on their size, washing machines are $2.75, $3.75, $4.75, $5.75, and one extra large capacity for $6.75 that I put a queen size sheet set AND comforter and still has extra space. All the washers give you the option to add a quarter for an extra cycle. Dryers take a quarter per every 7 mins. The thing that makes this business stand out to me is just how clean it is. It is far and beyond the cleanest I've been in. There are several seating areas, and a couple of tvs playing old sitcoms to pass the time. Parking is easy, and there's even a city lot across the street, though I always was able to get a really close street spot. read more

A pretty straight forward laundromat. They have 4 different sizes of wahsers and 2 sizes of dryers. The staff is always helpful and freindly. The place is clean and so are the machines. They also offer wash and fold services. There are plenty of T.V.s to keep yourself entertained. They also offer free wi-fi for customers. The bathroom is small and in the office so one has to ask the staff to use it, which can be awkward. They also have a bonus wash card, 10 washes gets you a free small wash. I have on-site laundry at my apartment but when I have to wash a large item like a comforter or sleeping bag, I head to Bryant Street Laundry. It's super clean, they have a ton of machines (so even when, inevitably, a machine or two are out of order it doesn't even matter), there are TVs & free wi-fi, and it's Coffee Culture adjacent. Small washers are $2.50/load, larger ones are $4.50 (both are front load washers) and dryers are 25¢ for every 7 minutes. The dryers are super efficient - it only takes me 30-40 minutes to get my large, fluffy items bone dry. I don't think anyone loves hanging out at the laundromat but this one is as good as it's gonna get. It's worth going an extra couple blocks if you live a little closer to another one. read more

After living in apartments for 36 years I have become a laundromat afficienado. I just moved back to town and finding a good laundromat is up there with finding a good dentist, doctor, bar etc. Bryant St.should be an icon of laundromats...lots of machines, clean, well maintained with parking across the street if you need it. Also has a friendly, neighborly staff that always make you feel welcome. I have laundry facilities in my building but prefer laundromats so I can get all my laundry done at once. I rarely use laundromats. Usually I go home on Sundays for family dinner and do my laundry at my parents' house. However sometimes my weeks get hectic working 13 hour shifts, and I find myself needing to do it myself. I was hesitant because the prices seemed a bit steep, but the excellent reviews and proximity (literally right around the corner) attracted me. I arrived around 9:30 AM, and was greeted by an employee, asking if I was dropping off or doing it myself. They seem to have an impressive system for dropping off clothes, with a price per pound. The idiot I am, I realized I forgot all my detergent at home. The weather was miserable, and I had all my clothes and laptop with me, so I bit the bullet and paid for some of the detergents for convenience. They were $0.75, so I bought 2 packets of liquid Wisk and 1 box of 2 dryer sheets. The facility has an ATM that gives you smaller bills, and quarter machines that accept up to $20 bills, too. The washing machines had all different sizes and different prices. I decided to take 2 of the medium $3.75/load machines. Directions were easy, machines were nice, and speedy. They only take quarters, hence the ATM and quarters machines. Both of my loads were washed and spun in about 25-30 minutes. The dryers are HUGE. I was able to fit everything from my 2 washing loads in 1 dryer. The dryer charges $0.25 for 7 minutes. I was able to wash and dry all my clothes before even finishing 1 episode of Shameless on my laptop (which is nice because they have free high speed Wifi!) I had accidentally left some of my clothes in one of the washers, and the employee brought them to me and said how sometimes clothes get stuck in the top of the washing machine and you can't see them. I apologized, but she was so friendly and said that it happens all the time. With my clothes dried, I folded them on one of the many folding stations and bid my farewell. I think I have found my go-to place for laundromats now. Maybe next time I'll try the drop-off, even! read more

Great laundromat. This place is very clean and there are always a lot of open washers and dryers, even during busier times. The washers are very fast and large, a little expensive but they're really efficient and the dryers are really cheap, so it evens out. I've done my own and gotten wash and fold service here when I don't have time to do my own. They have a student discount for wash and fold over 10 pounds, which is really nice. Free wireless internet, too! So I can take my work with me. There's a coffee shop across the street if you want to grab a cup and pretend that you're not doing laundry. I wish they were open later, until at least 11pm. All in all, great (clean!) place with friendly people in a nice area. read more

They have a great staff here. They're really friendly and offer fast service. We do wash and fold, and the clothes come folded beautifully and all bagged up. They really do a great job, and I recommend it over doing laundry at Elmwood Village Laundry any day. They ofter a student discount as well. I have been doing my laundry here for a year. Even during busier times like weekends and evenings, there are always machines open. This laundromat is always clean and the staff are always nice and helpful. Perhaps a bit on the pricy side for the wash and fold service which is why I do my own but I don't mind because the washing machines and driers are so large and speedy, big plus for efficiency! If I have to wash a comforter I come here bc the washer is so large. Free WI-fi. it's located in a lovely area so I often take walks while I wait for my laundry to finish, enjoy the scenery, grab a coffee or bite to eat. Never have been disappointed here! read more

I had to add extra quarters to make the washer start. You couldn't set the dryers to high, which meant they took forever to dry on low heat. Cost me $4.50 to dry 2 medium sized loads. And some clothes are still a bit damp. I'll try someplace else. read more

Good detergent. That's where the good ends. They are over priced (They charge 99 cents a pound so I was really expecting things to come back home with me. I am missing several sports bras - at 8 months pregnant I cannot go topless commando if even to buy more bras) and their service was underwhelming (It took this place 4 days to clean a regular sized drop off bag, they lost the laundry and then tried to charge my husband twice having paid when he dropped off). I have only seen one place with worse service and that was in Crown Heights Brooklyn - severely unimpressed and will never use them again. read more

The floors are always dirty and I have ruined several arrivals of clothing due to oil and or grease not to mention the few time there was bleach still I'm the washer. Bryant Street Laundry is right around the corner from me, so last week I decided to give their wash and fold service a try rather than going to the one I usually go to further away. Initially I thought that it was fine nothing fabulous but nothing terrible. The turn around time was 2 days and I was happy to see they had a 10% student discount off so my total was like 52 dollars. I picked up my clothes and due to my busy schedule didn't put my clothes away until a few days later. Yesterday when I finally got around to it I noticed my favorite pair of jeans were missing. (I always take inventory on the important things I would actually miss if I lost- Jeans, nice shirts, and favorite leggings or pants.) I called to let them know the jeans were missing and was told the manager would call me back the following day when she got in (Cheryl.) Long story short Cheryl said they don't lose things, there is no policy in place for things that are lost. She said she would offer a free 15 pound load to make up for the lost item. In what world would I send more clothes to a place that has already lost an item? I said that I did not want to continue business there as that would just be foolish. I would recommend only dropping off stuff you don't care about losing like socks and t-shirts, or big items like a comforter (as it will be more difficult for something that large to be lost.) read more
