If you're doing your wash at a laundromat, probably any weekday morning is a good, low traffic time. That's why, even though I usually launder at home, I chose Monday morning last to take my wash to Laundry Time. My sad habit of procrastinating resulted in laundry piling up. Three bags --at least 3 loads at home-- would take me all day, and down and up the stairs at least 6 times. Sheets, towels, clothes. Knowing a laundromat would be quicker, and no stairs, off I went. I mentioned to someone where I was going and was told there's a laundromat much closer... on Elmwood just past North. The hundreds, thousands of times I'd driven past and I never noticed it. I'd been a few times to the Golden Dragon, and never noticed Laundry Time next to it. Now that I know, it will be my go-to whenever my wash grows too large. And I will also take my comforters there just as soon as Buffalo night time temps stop dipping into the 40s. Laundry Time has a wash and fold service. The attendant, Tamika, explained the rates by weight and times for drop off, and that comforters are flat charged by size. I have to say she was also very helpful to this short person (me) who couldn't reach the top of the washer to add soap. The rest room was neat and clean enough, though the attendant will have to unlock it for you. In all, I had a fine laundromat experience at Laundry Time. I will be tempted now and then to let my wash pile up on purpose. Oh, one last tip: if you think you want to grab lunch or supper from the Golden Dragon, it is closed on Monday. Hope I remember that next time I do my wash at Laundry Time. P.S. I noticed on posting that it says Elmwood Village location. In truth, 220 Elmwood Ave. is much closer to Allentown than it is to the Village. read more

Laundry is the worst kept in western New York, not clean or sanitary. Washers constantly broke down without repair. No evening attendant with homeless hanging out bumming money from customers. Owner doesn't care and is primarily absent paying the couple workers under the table illegally. Place should be shutdown. Washing machines are not cleaned daily or sanitized. Most days the place looks like a disaster area. Except for the poor lady who works without assistance almost seven days a week the place needs a facelift. read more

This is the Maytag Laundry near North and it has the lowest price for wash and fold in all of WNY. 69 cents per pound if you are paying in cash before you pick it up. If you choose to pay after you drop it off you will add a few bucks to your bill. Overall, it's a fine place to do laundry or drop off for wash and fold. I've dropped off a few loads here and it has worked out well each time. Until we get some appliances, I'll likely keep coming here! read more

I do my own laundry so I can't comment on wash-and-fold. Front-load washer prices are on par with other laundromats in the area. Top-load washer prices are VERY competitive. Plenty of washers and dryers of various sizes. Bathroom is OK. (Soap dispenser needs refilling, for starters.) read more

My friend, it's laundry time. This is my go to laundromat for my weekly laundry experience, and I'll tell you why. You've got free parking right next to this spot so you don't have to awkwardly walk around with your dirty clothes. You've got a quarter machine because who actually remembers to save quarters? You've got extra large units because who doesn't like to save a little money by getting 2 loads for the price of one? You've got free wifi so you can hang out and binge on Netflix. Plus you've got a market with a Tim Horton's on one side of the laundromat and a Chinese takeout spot on the other side. The place is clean and the staff is nice. And they are open late. There are plenty of washers and dryers that vary in size. Their prices are reasonable. I've never used their wash and fold service but 69 cents a pound sounds pretty cheap to me so that would be good for ppl who hate doing their own laundry. read more

Its clean, has large & small washers, dryers are .25 for 4 minutes, there's free parking and a deli on one side, chinese takeout on the other- its just laundry, get it done in an hour! read more

The lady who is always working while I'm doing my laundry is not friendly and has repeatedly shown rude demeanor and poor customer service. I had previously thought maybe she was having a bad day, but today's encounter has proven to me otherwise. I had deposited two coins into a machine and tried a third but it got stuck. Upon trying to retrieve my coin, the button failed to help. So I switched machines and then went to the desk to Ask for help. I was condescendingly told "it didn't EAT your coins, YOU jammed it. Give me a minute". When she made her way to the machine she began jamming a knife into the slot and asking me "ok so where are your coins then? It says there's nothing in here" I showed her the light illuminating that I'd deposited two coins and the third was lost in the slot somewhere. She kept trying to jam a knife in there and was very rude In insinuating that I was lying. I cut my ties with the two coins I'd deposited as she only offered me one back. Every time I come here, I sit and read as I do my laundry, providing no reasons for her to be so continuously nasty to me. I will not be returning after today's unnecessarily rude exchange. read more

I personally enjoy this laundromat. I have never actually done my laundry here personally but I drop my laundry off for them to do every week. It is low cost and very reliable. It costs .69 cents per pound to have your laundry washed and folded. I have never paid more than $20 for all of my laundry to get done. The best part about this service is that it is done the next day and sometimes even the same day. You can't beat that if you ask me. The place is relatively clean and there is a bathroom for customers. The people who work behind the desk are great. They always try and remember your name each time you come in. If you live near north and elmwood I suggest giving this place a try. read more

The lady who works here is extremely rude. I put $2 in the washing machine and pressed the button for hot water. It said to put another .25 in for hot. So I did and closed the lid. I went back to check it and it said "error out of order" so I went up to the front and told her what happened. She made a face and said "Uhg give me a minute go back to your washer" When she came over she said "These are brand new what did you do to it?" I said "Nothing I just put money in and my clothes and hit start." She told me to come to the front and made me sign a price of paper to prove she gave me money but it said $2. I told her the amount was wrong and she said "They're only $2!" I informed her you need to put another .25 in for hot and she basically tossed the money at me. A screw face the entire time of our encounter. So rude! read more
