One Egg** combo with Home Fries, Bacon, & Biscuit
Ashleigh F.

This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with other businesses with shared parking in front. We came to the restaurant early one Sunday morning. We were seated right away. The employees that we engaged with were pleasant and attentive. I ordered the one egg combo with bacon, potatoes, eggs, and a biscuit. It didn't take long for our food to be brought out to us. The food was served hot. The potatoes and the biscuit were good. The biscuit was soft. The bacon was a little greasy and the eggs were a little too wet for my liking. Overall the meal wasn't bad.

I really wanted to like this place, because I love southern style breakfast and the location is close. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. The parking and seating are ample. Tables are old school banquet tables with the metal bars restricting your legs from extending. The service was solid, nothing special. The menu looked great, except they didn't have country fried steak. My omelette and home fries were ok, but I sincerely prefer Waffle House. My son attempted the 3 hot cake challenge and miserably failed. He ate one. The biscuits and French toast were very dry. The prices are far greater than Waffle House for a lesser product. Sadly, we won't be returning.

First timer! We have heard a lot about this spot and seems pretty popular in the area. I know they have multiple locations so we tried the one in garner. There was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. Maybe a 5-10 minute wait. We both ordered the fried catfish breakfast, his with grits and mine with home style fries aka hash-browns( that's what I'm use to calling them back home). My bf ordered a biscuit and I did the hot cake. Warming the hot cake is HUGE. Like extremely massive. One is perfect for the table. It has a sweet flavor to it, kind of like cornbread. I really enjoyed it. I will say that the catfish tasted pretty salty. And I think it was more the batter than it was the actual fish, because the fish seemed as if it was seasoned perfectly. We are normally ok with saltier food, so it wasn't a problem for us, but of note to others if that's the norm.

Good place to stop in for some southern cooking. I have been here for both breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, I ordered a pancake, an egg, and bacon. Pancake was thick and fluffy, and they used a pound cake batter for the pancakes. It's definitely one of my favorite pancakes in the area. Their dinner menu rotates, so something they'll have one thing on the menu, then other times they don't. I like that meals come with a dessert and I'll always choose banana pudding. Service is usually quick and attentive. Our waitress checked in often enough not to be overwhelming but also just right to make sure we had what we needed. This is a spot I stop in every once in a while when I just need a plate of classic southern food.

Great spot. The pancake was the size of the plate and super fluffy. Staff was friendly and the place was super clean.

The food was good, but I honestly, the service was even better. Our waitress, Brittany, was patient (as it was our first time visiting), kind and welcoming. Not just her, but also other staff that we came in contact with. We will be back.

BIG EDs is awesome!! The amount of food we got was insane. I had already eaten lots off this plate before the picture was taken. The biscuits were so warm and fresh. The interior is so fun with deer heads on the wall. The host has such a good memory and didn't even have take names. Will be back next time i'm in Raleigh!

The drink menu is huge, and it's clearly geared more toward flavored latte lovers than coffee purists. If you like creative, dessert-style drinks, you'll have plenty to choose from. Drinks: I ordered a cortado, but it came out more like a breve. Not a big deal, but not quite what I was expecting. I also tried The Alchemist -- an iced latte with white chocolate, English toffee, and raspberry. It was enjoyable, but definitely flavor-forward, with the syrups taking center stage more than the espresso. Food: This is where the place really shines. I ordered the chicken biscuit with Sriracha hot honey, and it was excellent. Crispy chicken, a great biscuit, and the sweet heat from the sauce tied everything together perfectly. Overall: If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot with lots of fun drink options, No Filter is a solid choice. If you're hunting for a specialty coffee experience focused on the coffee itself, this probably isn't the destination -- but the food alone makes it worth the stop.

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

There's plenty of seating, and the menu offers a lot more than just coffee -- with options ranging from craft coffee to beer and wine. I ordered a cortado, which was exactly the late-afternoon pick-me-up I needed. I had to take it to go (never the ideal way to enjoy a cortado), but it was still well prepared and nicely balanced. I also tried one of their seasonal drinks, the Bee Stings Latte -- an iced latte with honey, ginger, turmeric, and a little cayenne kick. It was a really unique combination and surprisingly refreshing. The spice and honey gave it a comforting, almost restorative feel -- the kind of drink that would be perfect if you're feeling a little under the weather or dealing with sore joints. My wife ordered the Raspberry Beret, an iced matcha with raspberry purée and white chocolate. Her verdict: the best matcha she's ever had. My only complaint that I watched all my friends get theirs in beer glasses but mine came in a small container -__- I assume this may be the regular mimosa glass but I disliked the consistency and equality. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat upstairs, which was a decent sized area with great lighting and local art. Overall, it's a nice establishment in downtown Garner.

The salad included chicken, cucumber, pickled red onion, corn, crispy tortillas & oregano dressing. The salad was fresh and crisp. I really enjoyed this. I'd get double meat going forward. I also order myself carnitas (delicious) and one chicken quesadilla for my Mom. My mom is such a picky eater but she really enjoyed the quesadilla and was talking about how meaty it was for days. I'm happy with my purchase and I look forward to returning. I do recommend dining at Little Rey if you're in the area.

"They have all the smoke"…read more My first time in the Ironworks area, and me like! Free parking and crossing guards directing traffic - wonderful! Ironworks is a mixed use environment with vendors hawking wears under canopies, alongside brick and mortar stores, shops, and restaurants. Little Rey's (IMO) is Alpaca Restaurant meets Mexican in the best way possible. The line for the food was a solid 30-45 minute wait. So don't be like me, have a seat, pull out your phone, use the code on the table, view menu, and order and pay. However, they have employees who greet customers and begin your drink menu while you wait in line. We ordered the half chicken, Gringa tacos, guacamole, and queso. Little Rey has a pretty extensive salsa bar, with approximately 7-8 varieties. The salsa bar spans the gambit from mild, mid-hot, smoky, and creamy options. The star of the show is the smoked chicken! So good with the corn tortilla, green salsa, grilled onions and grilled jalapeño! Moving forward I'll add an order of the chicken taco to get the perfect bit without the mess! The Gringa/Picadillo taco was good. And while I am a Gringa, and I love a Taco Bell sour cream situation, that almost mayonnaise flavor didn't sit well with my soul. However, the meat itself was super flavorful. I'd ditch the flour tortilla for corn , and opt for another salsa, add pico, and I think we are there. We weren't a fan of the rice, if I'm being honest - but will try again. While I didn't try any alcoholic beverages on this round, I'm stoked to try on my next visit. Plenty of seating, but can get awkward if there are long lines. The party is outside, so that maybe your best bet. Looking forward to grabbing a group of friends for round dos! Northern Mexican: 4.4444

Staff will take maybe one or two orders at a time and practically fully complete them before taking the next order, leaving guests standing there for so long. I understand it gets busy here, but there HAS to be a better system. When it was formerly Steve's, they had a ticket pull system which seemed to work way better. The staff also don't seem to care about their appearance WHATSOEVER. One particular individual has an almost entirely bleached t-shirt with bleached hand prints on it...does the owner not supply new shirts for the staff?!?! 8/10 times that I order here, my food is completely wrong. Sometimes I even have to repeat myself multiple times just to get what I'm saying to be written down on the order sheet...it's nonsense. Honestly, I'd rather leave a lower review, but the bagel sandwiches are just phenomenal in my opinion when I get what I asked for on it! It's not the food here that sucks, it's the service! If the food tastes amazing I'm still coming, but I really wish the new owner could figure out something to get things moving quicker and the staff caring more about their appearance! I'm happy to update my review in the future if the service improves. Lastly, there really needs to be a blower above the door to keep flies out. The flies hanging around all those bagels is less than appetizing..
