Was in the area and saw so many cars outside it and figured it had to be good. Unbeknownst to us, it is mainly a take away place, they do offer some covered seating if you choose to stay. Easy to read menu with photos hang about boasting their lunch/dinner selections. We dined on ribs, chicken, Philly Cheesesteak, fries and Mac and cheese. Everything was outstanding, plentiful and delicious. The staff could not have been more accommodating, checking on is to make sure everything was right, they even offered an upgraded selection when they were out of onion rings. I finally got a shot to try the Wood fire and Charcoal grilled meats from this Mom and Pop chain. I bought my food from the food truck location. We tried the Chicken and rack of ribs with honey BBQ sauce on the side. The meat was lightly seasoned, juicy and not dry. The skin was lightly toasted and not overly charred. The price was reasonable for a Wood fire Charcoal grill. The smoke filled the meat. I also had plain sliced bread. There is no seating by the food truck location, but you can order and they bring your order to your car. It's not a fancy looking spot, but have to give 5 stars for friendly prompt service, and that Wood Charcoal flavor, that is increasingly hard to find. The Restaurant fronts they operate offer more items, but they also use Wood Charcoal to cook with. Recommend a visit to the food truck location, but come after 11am. read more

This is front of the yard on Sunday after church type BBQ. Very unassuming no thrills building. It smells delicious once you open your car door. The woman at the counter was friendly, and very polite. Food was delicious, and the prices were crazy good. For $45 we got 3 meals, a huge portion of seafood rice (which was bangin' and 2 big drinks. But I can guarantee you Big Daddy's does not disappoint and they have a lot to offer. Big Daddy's BBQ has a little bit of everything. From breakfast, burgers, fried fish, snow crabs, salads, BBQ, curry, etc. Your options are definitely limitless and it's hard to be disappointed. I've been eating here for a few years. I came back into town and this place was one of the first places I HAD to stop by. This is by far my FAVORITE soul food restaurants in the central Florida area. I ordered the BBQ chicken dinner with greens and baked beans. My husband went for the BBQ rib dinner with Mac and baked beans. The food was ready and out in about 5-7 minutes. We could not pass on their strawberry lemonade (highly recommend). We went in the patio to soak in the Florida sun and dived into our meals. It was delicious. Just like I had remembered it. The portions are HUGE so you most likely will have a hefty amount to take home to eat later. This was my husband's first time coming here and enjoyed the ribs. For less than $10 I had eggs, grits, sausage, bacon and pancakes. It really tastes like your your grandma's Sunday breakfast before church. BD's is right off the road with easy entry/exit plus you can eat outside and enjoy the lake view and great weather. The menu has a variety of entrees from ribs to fish to gizzards. This place is very unassuming, and honestly, that's always a good sign that a place will have something that downright slaps. My friends, let me steer you towards the ribs. They are the perfectly soft meat, smothered in their sauce that you can tell is made by them and different to any other BBQ place I've ever had. Their sides were lacking a bit, beans tasted canned and mac and cheese had good taste but on the dry side. Bbq is usually always my first choice so i was happy to see this bbq spot was still open. I was shocked at how cheap the food was! And the portions were so big. The ribs were so tender. Check the specials board for some additional options. I always order the chitterlings plate. They are always tasty. One of my other favorites is the oxtail dinner. My challenge at this restaurant is which sides to choose. They have so many great options for sides from collard greens to macaroni and cheese. You get a choice of yellow rice or white rice with each entree as well as two sides and cornbread. The prices range between $8 and $14 for a meal. This place is an absolute disgrace!! I called and placed my order for 20 wings and a grilled chicken dinner. I do not live near the restaurant but it was on my way. Upon arriving to my destination (45mins away) I sat down to enjoy my meal and found FULL ACTUAL FEATHERS in my wings!!! See photos! I called and spoke to Paulette who informed me I must bring the plate back and they would "consider" a replacement. I explained to her that I am 45 mins away. She told me she wasn't sure when they'd reopen after the storm so I could just bring in the receipt but they would only be replacing 5 wings!! 5? I reminded her that I ordered 20. She placed me on hold and came back on and said Mario said we can eat the wings without FEATHERS!!! What!!?? There were so many feathers not one of these wings were edible. I ate here yesterday 6/18/17 at hearing about wonderful reviews. After waiting for almost 25 minutes in the drive through after placing my order, I noticed that the plate was half opened and my food wasted out in the bag. Over half of my food. The girl who brought out the order responded by only saying "oh your food wasted ". No let me remake your plate or I'm sorry. After she returned back in the building I had to flag her down to get extra plate and napkins to savage this mess my meal had become. She was on her cell phone at this point and gave me the look like why are you bothering me. Secondly, my chicken was undercooked, cabbages were hard, and pecan pie was not cooked enough.
