I placed an order for inside pickup, and immediately after placing it, I had a change in my plans. I went inside, the host station is right inside the door, I let the host know that I was there for pickup but I would actually prefer to eat in if possible. He said of course, and he walked me to the pickup area and said you'll just need to get your pickup and then come back over to me and I'll make sure you get seated. I waited for close to 20 minutes, so my food had not been started yet. Which was fine. But I returned to him as instructed, I sat down at a booth close to the door, opened up my food and as I'm starting to open my condiments to put on my food, he walks up and tells me actually I can't sit down. "He's sorry he should have asked". Now, I know this is not a situation everyone would have or relate to...it's not common for me either...but it was indicative to me of their overall approach toward a customer and the customer experience. I would have gladly tipped if that were the issue, I went to him in order to be seated somewhere convenient to them, but I would have also ordered a drink and a dessert in addition or something. But what was most bothersome is that I politely asked first immediately when I came in the door, I waited for them to make my food which could have just been served to me at that point, I unpacked and repacked my food up... I could have just remained in my car and eaten in my car rather than deal with all of that headache in the end. Instead I packed my food back up and left, and reconsidered future visits. I was floored at buying food there and not being permitted to eat it there.

The okra, again, did not have much flavor to them and I failed to finish them. The cornbread was nothing special either. The others felt their food selections were "okay", but this is my review and I disagreed with them - it could've (should've) been better. Upon getting the bill we discovered that we were charged $20.49 for those advertised $17.49 plates. There also was an added 'Florida Tea' cocktail that was not only not delivered, but never ordered. I recommend you check your bills thoroughly before paying. This may have been an anomaly, but maybe not. As for me personally I won't choose to return here anytime soon, unless I am outvoted by the company I keep.
