I am absolutely appalled by the abhorrent behaviour of Amanda and Darmiya. They have consistently shown unprofessional and unethical handling of business operations, coughing over food and mishandling cash. I was shocked at the lack of standards and the utter disrespect towards customers. This business deserves no less than a 1 star review and deserves immediate termination of these two ladies. Their behaviour is absolutely disgraceful and it is unacceptable. I strongly recommend you take immediate action in addressing this issue. This is terrible store with terrible customer service. I ordered two of the same sandwich and it was completely incorrect. When I took it back in to have them fix it the young lady name Karen snatched my receipt out of my hand. When I questioned her about snatching it she got an attitude and said, " no ma'am", I didn't. I then informed her I no longer wanted the food because her customer service sucked. She gave the receipt to Brooklyn. When I asked for the manager she said she was on maternity leave. I arrived home with my sub order only to realize it was not correct. I ordered a sweet & spicy meatball sandwich and was given a regular meatball sandwich. I called the store to inform them of the mistake and this extremely friendly gentlemen apologized profusely and offered to replace the order. He asked me my name and said that he would write it down on a post it and put back in the office so that when I came back in I could let them know and they could replace the sub. This gentleman identified himself as the owner's son, Atbay (sp?). I thanked them and hung up. I work as a nurse so unfortunately my schedule is a little crazy right now so it took me 2 weeks to come back to the store. I walked in and the first person to welcome me was none other than the owner's son! So I introduced myself and tried to remind him of my situation. I told him my name but all of a sudden he didn't know what I was talking about, they could t find the post it and then he went to get his dad, the owner of the franchise. Again I explained the situation to this man and in response he said that the policy is to bring back the sub for a new sub but unfortunately that afternoon his son had not said that to me but when I tried to explain that to him the owner kept raising his voice and cutting me off. I'm not one for confrontations so I told him that if he wasn't going to honor the sub replacement it was fine but I couldn't even finish that sentence because again he raised his voice to me in front of the entire store and said "I'm sorry for you but there is NOTHING I can do for you!" All the whole the son just stood there looking lost yet he was the one that had taken my name down but now didn't remember anything. I said thank you and walked out. I immediately called corporate. Besides the food being excellent (get the 5 cheese Mac and Cheese and the Chicken and Dumplins), ALL the staff were great and super friendly. This is the best firehouse I have ever been at. The service is outstanding. Their energy is contagious. The family owners are very involved and are extremely nice. They do everything to please the customer. I always get my order right (not minor in this world of fast food). The food (sandwiches) in Firehouse are great. I think that the heating method with steam makes a big difference But I want to emphasize on this particular family and ownership. They are the best! I have been to many Firehouse locations, and usually have had really positive experiences. This location was not the same. We placed an order online for five subs so that we wouldn't have to wait when we came to pick them up. We were not greeted when came in. When we got to the register, they were not aware of our online pre-payment. We waited 20 minutes before an employee asked if we had ordered yet. When we explained the situation to him, he asked why we had not said something. We thought we were waiting for them to complete the order, but the sandwiches were already made and getting cold on top of the counter. Just ordered 4 sandwiches through a delivery service. 3 of the 4 sandwiches were COMPLETELY WRONG!! I called them, spoke to someone named Kayla who stated they didn't "charge" me for the bacon that was supposed to be on one of the sandwiches. I explained that that was not the only problem that the other sandwiches had onions and mayo and mustard and things that they were not supposed to have on them, etc. and I asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge. She said the manager would not be in until tomorrow and I could call back then. Never asked for my name or information to provide to the manager (which is what she should have done.). Firehouse offers some of the best subs you'll ever have. Never once have I been disappointed. Use to eat at this location often when I lived here and now I'm lucky enough to live right down the road from the one and only location in the state I live now. The subs are steamed hot. The ham is very sweet and turkey is juicy. The bread is fresh and so are the veggies. The meatballs are also great for a change. The service at this particular location has been good though the owner can be a bit overbearing. Will jam "chips and drink?" Down your throat. But then again he's the owner, he's there to make money. This place does however go against the notion that subs can be a healthy option. Check calorie counts. Jared will never be found in this chain. read more

This is a good location. They are on par with the other locations I've been to. The subs are unique and better than Subway but not the greatest or anything. I like the New York Steamer but they are all pretty good. l have always been a fan of Firehouse Subs. Great food at an affordable price. Today I did experience something a little odd while having lunch with my mom. While trying to eat, a man (who I assume was the owner) was speaking so loud to his employees I could barely focus on my conversation. He was shouting to an employee about her hours, what she needed to be doing, and ranting something about being the "best trained employee to represent my restaurant". It was super odd, like he was purposely speaking so loud that customers could hear him. The employee looked a little uncomfortable. I know I would feel the same way if my boss was speaking so loudly to me when he could've pulled me in the back to discuss the matters. Overall, my experience was fine. I just hope that the owner realizes that customers can hear him and are paying more attention than he thinks. read more
