Sadly, they don't follow instructions. Asked for no onion, no oil or vinegar and they out onion, oil and vinegar. Don't like onion and wanted the liquids held cause had to travel, got home and sub was wet, falling apart. Might try again in the future. Sub was good but really wet. read more

Ordered on line at noon for 2:45 pickup (2 sandwiches). I got there at 2:40 and waited until 3:20. No they weren't busy. That would have been acceptable if the sandwiches were amazing, but they weren't. I don't know how that's possible cause they all use the same product. I made an online order. Confirmation that it would be ready at 1:57pm on Sept 14, 2024. I'm at the location and it's 2:35pm and my order hasn't even been started. I ask for a refund and "there's no manager to refund it". Tried to cancel online and I'm told to call the location directly. This is absolutely ridiculous. So now I'm out $50+ and no food. My son and I went in for subs on May 12, 2023 @ 1:56 pm. I specifically give this information because the crew working at this moment was amazing. They all deserve credit. Best sandwich!! Hands down out of all the sandwich shops around the area Jersey Mike's has never disappointed.

For the last couple of years they have been the best subs in Winter Haven. Now for the last 4 weeks the service there has been bad. I usually order on line 1 1/2 hrs. A head of time. The last 4 weeks you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes and if you are lucky you will have to inquire about it. No one ask you. Prior to the last 4 weeks service was excellent. I truly believe new personnel and maybe new manager on Sundays are the problem. I hope they understand that Jimmy John's just opened up a mile away. read more

The location was busy due to the National Promo. On line order was placed to try and avoid wait times. They did not start cooking the food until I arrived at the specified pick up time. Behind the counter was a mess. Food and oils on the floor. This is in direct line of sight from the racking used for pick up orders. The rack was empty as the area was full of people waiting for their on line orders. In addition with the walk in traffic. Refunds were being given, and lots of upset customers. Only giving a 2 star due to the sandwich being good. Me and my family went yesterday with gift cards. Only went back today because I wanted to give it another try, and since my gift cards went through on the app I figured we will order and then never go again. The service was terrible, and can throw out the name of employee only because he has same name as my boyfriend only reason I can remember. First for it being my first time I will never go back to this location. I would rather go to subway, or Publix and get a sub. They made our 2 subs and instantly went to check us out didn't ask if that was all like most places, when I said I had another sub he told me I should have said so now there's 2 orders ahead of me. I was like shouldn't have to tell you most places ask me if that's going to be it before the cash me out. But I let it go. Then our gift cards were not going through, and from there his attitude progressed even toward the other customers and the employees. He tried to tell me I can't use gift cards in the store. Wish was a lie cause it said on paper I could use in store to scan barcode. Then he told me to call corporate which could not do because they were closed. When went back in he said did you figure it out. I said yeah we are leaving since my only way to pay for it is gift cards. He was mad and I really didn't care, because how his attitude was. This is the worst jersey mikes. The kids working there had no skills and there was no manager to tell them what to do. They left out ingredients on one of three Sandwiches and when I walked back in to have them fix it they pretty much tried to ignored me. Then when I tried to get their attention and just ask for a refund the one young kid with dreads started threatening me and acting like he was going to try to be physical. Ive been to Jersey Mikes all over the country, and all of them have been very inviting, however the one here in my home area of winter haven is small, not inviting and not clean. I went there today and the onions was yellow the counters were not clean, not an good experience, I wish there was one closer that I can go to. read more

Husband traveling for work went in to eat, went up to order and they tried to talk him out of warming up a sandwich and asked if he could ponly order cold sandwiches because "they don't feel like warming up and making hot sandwiches. very disappointed in this particular Jersey Mikes... I have been a huge fan of this franchise and ha e been a loyal customer for years. I frequented two in the south part of Florida and every time the service was quick, efficient and the sandwich was excellent. They were both managed very well as everyone had their task and they did it very well... they ran Iike a swiss clock. Not this one! when I relocated to Winter Haven I was delighted that there was a Jersey Mike's just a few miles away. I have tried to give this store business five times. Every time i was very disappointed. NO ONE knows what they are doing there! One sandwich I told them was a veggie number 14. He actually started to slice pepperoni! I told him to stop... that this was a veggie! He actually told me that there was pepperoni on a veggie sub! Uhhhh... no. He had to turn around and look at the menu board!!?? I told him no cheese. He started slicing provolone! I had to repeat myself. Then the customer next me said this was unbelievable and that they had screwed his up twice! He then asked if I wanted the green pepper, and I said yea. He put thre paper thin slices on the bread and slid it over the the girl. She actually closed up the Sandwich and cut it in half and went to wrap it. I looked at her and asked her what she was doing. she said well you didn't want cheese. I actually had to tell her no, I did not, but I would like some toppings on it! Did she actually think I was going to pay almost $8.00 for bread and three thin slices of green pepper? I'm in bizarro world! I waited and waited and there weren't even a lot of customers in the store! They do not listen. I had to repeat myself several times and they still got it wrong! this is not rocket science! just left there and it was painful. plus, the bread was very stale. Slicing machine was filthy, too. I ran a deli for years.../ clean it constantly! such a shame, as if it was run well, and employees knew what they were doing, they could do an amazing business. It's all in the management, and this one is very poorly run. Five times, and all five were bad. I had hoped it was going to get better. Not the case. Maybe it will... but I will not know because I will not go back. $18.00 for two sandwiches and the value is not there with this store. OMG. Last time we were in here my boyfriend ordered a pastrami sub a young man left off the cheese and was only very little sauce. So he only give them one chance at making a good sub. They need a pickup line for call in orders. Very uncomfortable to call in an order and have to wait in line to pick up your order. They need a different system. Other things have changed since opening, so try it for yourself. I won't be calling in another order that's for sure. read more

This location has really gone down hill ! Staff was very unprofessional and lazy. Everyone moved at a snails pace. Many order lined up and line of customers waiting to order. No one seemed to have any sense of urgency to get things moving. Girl cooking hot subs at the grill randomly shouted out it would be 25 minute or more for a hot sub and people were waiting so long to order they started walking out. What a rip off they barely put any meat on your sub and they over charge you. If you want a good sub with meat on it save your money and go to publix. Not to mention the customer service was horrible the girl behind the counter had a attitude I even had to ask the guy who took my money for my cup that I paid for 3 times. We almost had a really bad experience untill one of the employes saved the day. I was ordering using the online apps which needs some serious tweeking btw when i accidentally sent my order to the wrong store we called the store and they said there was nothing they could do. So we figured we just lost the money for the subs but however when we went to the store where the subs werent meant to go to one of the employees gave us the order.
