Nothing was overly salty and everything we ordered we would all order again. The Chef Salad was large and looked fancy with fresh vegetables and lettuce and meat and cheese roll ups. The Texas Club was a tasty chicken salad sandwich on crisp Texas Toast with a nice light taste. The Country Fried Chicken was moist, easy to cut with a fork and seasoned just right. We don't often find a fried chicken breast as nice as this one. The fried green tomatoes were plentiful and prepared just right and perfectly crisp. Our server today was Annabel and she was just as friendly and attentive as we wanted/needed. When we sat down, I was hoping this might become my new favorite restaurant and they lived up to that hope. We live close to an hour away but I'm thinking we may drive back for breakfast tomorrow. I ordered a coffee (I think it was the Honey bee or something) and it was honestly AMAZING. I also had their chicken salad for lunch while my husband had their pulled pork and my dad had their Cuban. Everything was delicious and I loved my bean salad too! Kids had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and they enjoyed them along with the chips it came with. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was nice as well. I saw a couple tables there enjoying books and it seems like a cute little place to read. I will definitely be back on our next visit.
