The steak had a nice crispy char on the outside and perfectly medium on the inside. The brioche bun was slightly toasted and warm. The fries were very good, nothing fancy but, very good! I'd have to say this meal was one of the best I've had in a long time and the price was well worth it. As for drinks we had the lemon martini with a gin twist (wonderful) and the little margarita. The music was great and set at just the right volume, which made it easy to relax, enjoy the meal and hear the conversation. That said, the decor could use a bit of improvement. No offense to the artist, but the prints felt a little odd and too small for the wall space. The overall layout of the restaurant could also be better--it didn't feel as cohesive as the food and service deserved. Also, the hardwood seats could use some padding for both the back and bottom to make longer visits more comfortable. All in all, definitely worth checking out for the food and atmosphere, with just a few areas that could be elevated.

I was extremely disappointed in the slice of brisket though. It was extremely chewy like plastic. Decently seasoned but not tender at all. Probably a bit undercooked.
