Came to get an alignment and left with a broken break line. Truck was fine and as soon as alignment is done they show me another issue with the truck that happened on the alignment station. told me that it's my problem to fix it not theirs. Really unprofessional and Disrespectful to awards the issue. Had to get my own tow truck because they didn't want to pay/fix the problem they made. read more

I took my car to Big D's Automotive and explained I only wanted the power steering hose changed. Instead , I never received a call with an estimate for part or labor and without any communication at all not only did they perform fun service but they decided to go ahead and perform a couple more services without any authorization for notice. Now they are with holding my vehicle threatening to rip off any parts and junk my car for me to pick up. I have to communicate with them but very confrontational and refusing to release my vehicle with out full payment for price and outrageous labor charges. They left message for to pick up my vehicle pay for all theses unauthorized charges and quickly leave their premises immediately. I'm trying to rectify situation but having to luck. Anybody know what I can do to save car from being destroyed? read more

Got my truck towed in because my timing belt broke, all the parts and labor totaled 400$ no big deal, but when i drove home my truck started running hot and ac blowing hot!! Brought it back at first he said he didn't see anything wrong but then he spoke a different language and had a guy come put black tape around the cooling fan control circuit and then still charged for a freon ac service truck still didnt go back normal!!! Had to come drop 378$ for a piece ghat was working and obviously broke during their work ok my timing belts!! I felt cheated and took advantage of!!! Very unprofessional , poor communication, disrespectful, and unacceptable, I took my car to get my radiator replace they charged me but did not fix my car I drove home and the car started smoking and stopped on the side of the road. They were dangling in the engine bay for week before I noticed when I went to change the air filter I was told I needed. Air filter was brand new and didn't need to be changed. Also said that cabin filter needed to be changed. Bullshit. Receipt records from previous owner showed them changed less than a year ago. Typical of many shops. We took my car to get fixed they told us it would be ready a certain day and it wasn't. A day after we picked up my car it started smelling like gas and it wouldn't go more than 70mph, it was leaking so much, and we popped the hood open and found a wrench they left a wrench inside the car! We took it a second time so they could fix what ever was wrong with it this time and they told us it was the transmission and they couldn't help us because they don't do transmissions. When we took the car to get fixed the first time we asked for a full diagnostic. Went in for a quote on body work. Had to wait 30 minutes to talk to anyone. Charged 100 just for the quote. Later took my vehicle in for transmission work. I've been chasing this vibration is my chassis for about 6 months. I had replaced all sort of suspension components to no avail. I even bought new wheels and tires and had them installed at discount tire. This didn't solve the problem. So, I came to see the professional. Within 10 minutes he knew there was water in two of my tires. He drains the water and rebalances the tires. NO MORE VIBRATIONS!!! After a bunch of time and money spent. A pulley barring for my serpentine belt decided to go out and had to have my car towed so my sister was like we'll just have them take it the place I get my inspection done. We bought our 16 yr old a car today and on the way home we stopped to get the inspection done. When he pulled it in to inspect it noticed it was hot. My wife and I both thought we had been ripped off and just felt sick. They let the car cool off and checked it out. Come to find out it was just low on coolant. We were also told when we bought the car the Ac compressor was out . Come to find out it wasn't lol the guys at the shop recommended the Ac service. Instantly the Ac got cold. We were expecting around a 450 dollar fix and walked out under 200 for everything including the inspection. We were in and out in about hour or so. We would highly recommend this shop. read more

I bought a car from a friend that needed a bit of work. Even though I felt like it needed work on the suspension, all three places I took it to said it was fine. I priced out 3 places before I came to Big D and they not only beat the lowest price by 700 dollars, but they found what was wrong with the suspension. Even with adding that work it was still 700 dollars cheaper than the other guys. The car runs great and I haven't had problems since. I would recommend them to anyone. Came in for a regular oil change..everything was working fine before arriving. After the oil change was completed, I get back in my car to see my oil pressure light on. Immediately go back to have them fix it, only to be told I'll be needing to purchase a $300 part first. Worst experience at an automotive shop I've ever had! Drove in here because it was the closest shop when my car started having trouble. I was told what the problem was and was quoted an amount. I then took it to the shop I normally go to and was quoted an even higher amount, so I thought I was getting a good deal at Big D. I took it back and was charged $200, didn't make it 5 miles down the road before the same problems started happening again. I brought it back and they wanted to charge me $350 more to fix. This was after I realized that my wedding band (which I accidentally left in the glove box) was missing. When I questioned them about it, I was told that there was only one guy working on my car and they would check the video cameras and let me know if they saw anything. They never called, so I called the next evening and was told they didn't see anything, but that my car was left behind the shop UNLOCKED after they had finished working on it. Then, Moe started to get upset with me because I didn't want to have my car fixed there and was very unprofessional and rude. I normally don't post bad reviews, but I don't want the same thing that happened to me to happen to someone else. I will never go back to this shop and I would never recommend them to anyone else. read more
