But the thing that I really appreciated was that after the inspection, they've already been paid, and I'm hiring people to do the repairs. I texted the inspector several times for follow up details and help weeding out the bs of some of the tradespeople trying to sell me stuff. He was responsive and helpful, even though he didn't need to be. Turnaround time was also good. I hired them and they were out for the inspection within a couple of days. The report came same day. I'd recommend Patterson for your home inspection.

Dale, Payson, and their crew put my family through one of the worst experiences of our lives…read more Incompetent, poor workmanship, and a total nightmare even after begging and paying them thousands of dollars to just do the job we hired them to do. Our "8 week" project took 5 1/2 months. We were left scrambling for housing multiple times and missed Thanksgiving and nearly Christmas in our home. They didn't care about us or the work, and they will not care about you. If I were them I would be *embarrassed* by the quality of work they and their crew did. Be prepared for poor work (we were literally told "this is the first pocket door we've ever installed." We now need to get the whole thing redone), missed deadlines, no communication, and all the excuses when all those things happen repeatedly. They won't ever make it right. They will just wear you down and keep making things worse until you finally get desperate enough, give up, and ask them to leave like we did. Everytime they came back to "fix" something, they either made it worse or broke something else in the process (e.g. touching up paint on the wall but leaving splatters on the floor or a gouge in the wood). We now have to spend thousands of dollars to fix what they messed up or "repaired" so poorly it's already falling apart just months later. Avoid this company at all cost.

The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

Nolan not only had a fair price but also had the experience to recognize a suitable solution. Other's were over quoting what work needed to be done. Nolan and his brother stayed on the site for about 5 hours. During this time he actually decided to redo some work just to make sure it was 100% to his expectations. The Seller had just two days to respond to the question of whether or not he would repair. I called Todd at TH Structural Engineering and told him what I was dealing with and the very short time for my client to have the issue checked and my very short time frame. Although he was busy with other work, he met me at the house the next day, inspected the Truss and found it was ok. He issued the Certificate I needed, confirming all was good, and my seller was able to meet the deadline for his response to the Buyers. Because of Todd reacting so quickly to my request, the seller has been able to sell his home.

He had tons of excuses about his personal health and he may have but at some point you need to own the fact that you did not provide any service despite months of a patient customer following up.

His entire crew from demo to finish were so helpful and answered all my questions. We keep pinching ourselves every time we walk in our bathroom to make sure it isn't a dream! We couldn't be happier!
