The inspection Big Brother provided found things wrong with the A/C wiring and plumbing issues that the other inspection did not and could have cost us a lot of money had they gone undetected. They only cost a few hundred to fix now but had they gone undetected we wouldn't had known and it would have cost us thousands when they finally broke. Using their service we were able to negotiate for the seller to pay for the minor repairs and it kept us from a potential disaster. We appreciated that they were up on technology and loved that you used a drone to inspect the roof. Big Brother Inspections was a huge asset for us while building our new home, we highly recommend them! We used them for all 3 stages of inspections during the construction period, as well as our I year inspection afterwards. Their professionalism and attention to detail were incredible, no minor detail went unnoticed. I was reading down the list of Yelp's Top Ten Home Inspectors and checking reviews. I was impressed by consistent 5 stars in 18 reviews. I went to the Big Brother website and reviewed a home inspection report that was posted as an example. Very thorough. Photos, comments, all the warts were presented with no sugar-coating. I called Ryan Phelps and got an immediate response on a Friday and he was able to schedule the inspection for Monday morning. My daughter and I went to the house to do some measuring while Ryan was finishing up the inspection. He had the completed report on his laptop and went down the list of all the deficiencies he had found, supported by the photos. Very thorough. Big Brother inspection was recommended to us by our realtor, that provided a list of other inspection companies. We were under a time crunch and need an inspector out ASAP. I sent an email out to all the inspection companies and awaited a response from any of them. Within minutes Big brother got back to me with availability and provided quotes for what services we might need. We immediately booked them, and by the time the other companies got back to us we realized Big brother had the fairest rate for the services provided. Once they came out to the home they were very friendly and very detailed orientated with the home. Really appreciate there expertise. I would trust no one but Big Brother Inspections. Their inspections are very detailed and through. This is our 4th home purchase where they were our inspectors and they also did the inspection for my sister, each and every time they provided a very detailed report from the major findings to the smallest. After each inspection they sit down and take time to do a detailed walk through of their findings with pictures and their feedback. They have a solid understanding of what is done right and what isn't. I love the photos and they will even take time to walk the house with you to show you what they saw and explain why it is an issue. Their fees were straightforward and reasonable. Jordan took particular care to keep the home clean and orderly during the inspection process (i.e. accessed attic through garage, took shoe covers on and off when he entered and exited the home, etc.). He was very thorough and took the time to answer all of our questions. Reports were delivered to us a few hours after the inspection and are very thorough, easy to read and include many explanatory photos.
