Great job! The young men were very professional and excellent at fitting in our belongings. We've used them twice and would highly recommend their services. Great job Big Boy Movers. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could!!! First of all, they were 1.5 hours late. It took 2 men 4.5 hours to move my 1 bedroom apartment; a job that really should have taken about 2.5, MAYBE 3 hours at max. They cracked the water tray that my washer sits in and damaged the water line hose so I had to buy a new one. I just got off the phone with the manager whom offered a $4500 credit. Pfft! The hose alone costed $20 to replace, not to mention the beer I bought for my friend that helped me fix it. Take my advice, go wth a different company or, rent a truck hire your friends. It'll cost less and you'll probably get better timing and service! read more

These guys are the best. Hire them and they'll get it done. We hired them to move a bunch of furniture around the house. We had several couches, book cases, etc that needed to be moved up and down stairs etc. They showed up on time and got everything moved quickly and safely. read more

I have used Big Boy Movers twice in the last year. They showed up early each time, worked very hard and are very friendly. They took wonderful care of my furniture and exercise equipment. I am extremely pleased with Big Boy Movers and highly recommend them. read more

I had a great experience with Big Boy Movers. I was originally going to have them load my own truck, but Kyle arranged to move my things along with someone else who happened to be moving out of state. They picked up my things on Saturday and delivered them on Monday morning. It was convenient to go through a small and local moving company as opposed to a national one for a fair and affordable price. I would definitely recommend BBM. read more

Guys arrived on time, hardworking, and left after everything was complete. I would recommend them to anyone. Management was respectful and worked with my schedule. Accommodated some last minute rescheduling that really helped alleviate stress from my family. Also helped with pricing options that fit my budget. read more

If I could have just recieved a call (communicate) or even showed up for at the time we scheduled and paid a deposit, I could probably give a review, but the only thing I can say is DON'T USE THEM. read more

Had a great experience with Big Boy Movers. Kevin & Spencer we're awesome and got the job done. Very friendly and professional. Would recommend and use again. Thanks guys! read more

We couldn't have been more pleased w Big Boy Movers. Spencer and Calvin were total and tireless pros. They helped us load and unload a 26' truck for a cross-town move. They made what could've been a very stressful day painless and even pleasant. Worth every penny. read more

i contacted big boy movers to confirm they had experience team members w moving and loading a container which i was assured they did. 2 young guys showed up, one quickly said i need energy and caffeine so i gave him a energy drink and he stated how tired he was from the move the night before. the 2 guys took forever - 15/20 min to load the packing tape dispenser which i had to pay for this time. they talked alot while not working which also cost me and took too long for ea task. i had to continue to ask if they needed help to speed things up. after 3 hours and the tired guy who almost fell out (passed out) 2x and almost dropped my furniture but i was standing there and had to jump in to help there was still so much to do but i did not want to pay for addl time due to all of these immediate concerns. they were not able to provide upfront info on loading container which was frustrating. when they left i had to spend atleast 4 hours loading boxes etc and trying to be creative to make everything fit. i did tell them how previous movers loaded teh container. movers in MD had all of my furniture wrapped w blankets, shrink wrapped and loaded in teh container in 3 hours and this was moving out of the 3rd floor of a building w elevators and had to walk alot of distance to get to teh container. these guys could not even get this done and assit w other things in a house on teh 1st floor w no elevators and container right next to the house. this was the most frustrating moving experience ever and i have moved alot. they should of sent an older person w alot of experience and a younger guy in training but one of them should of been an expert w all of this. this is the 1st time in my 8 moves that i have not tipped my movers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible!!! read more

Eddy and Isaac came out to help us move from a second story apartment into a new townhouse a few miles away. They were great! Courteous, funny, great with the neighborhood kids who wanted to help too. Highly recommend using Big Boy Movers from this experience. read more

We had other movers flake on us last minute because we own a safe, nevermind that it's been moved by regular moving crews four times previously, one of which was staffed by 50+ year old smokers, and they'd been informed of it as soon as I called for a quote, but that's a rant for a 1 star review on their page. We found ourselves in a bind trying to find movers for a Saturday with less than a week notice. We'd already broken our rental lease based on the date the flaky movers had scheduled us for so we had a deadline to get out and we were in a bit of a panic. I called up Big Boy and sure enough they had a slot open that weekend for a late Saturday afternoon move. They showed up precisely on time which is amazing for a crew that had several jobs scheduled before us that day. We had a two man and one woman crew show up and they moved all our stuff (including the safe!) to our new house efficiently with no damage and for a very good price. Totally saved our butts and would use them again. read more

I'm updating and adding a star for one fact, that the owner personally contacted me and apologized. It doesn't make up for the extra hour I paid for a barely moving mover, but at least he apologized so I give him 1 extra star. read more

This was my first time using Big Boy Movers and they surpassed my expectations. The two movers I had were Joe and James. They were on time, efficient and two of the nicest guys I have ever met! There were some difficult circumstances they had to work with; one of them being the repaving of the roads right in front of my storage unit. This did not affect their attitudes or slow them down. From the first phone call until the move was finished, they were courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again and would recommend Big Boy Movers!! read more

Big Boy Movers are unprofessional, unprepared, don't provide customer service, and made my moving experience so much more stressful than it should've been. I hired Big Boy Movers to move my 2-bedroom apartment. I provided all the information requested, and they provided a quote for labor and a truck. I did not question either, because I am not the professional mover - that it why I hired them. However, the truck quoted and provided was too small. The movers made no effort to fix the situation in the moment, but moved approximately 60% of my apartment. The movers were not very efficient, left quite a bit of space in the truck, and refused to use my furniture pads, resulting in dings to my furniture. After all this, they refused to do any additional work that day, because they had another job to get to. I attempted to reach the office unsuccessfully to address the situation. I was not able to reach someone at Big Boy Movers until 36 hours after my move should've been completed. At this point, Big Boy Movers offered to move the rest of my belongings the next day for the cost of an entirely new move, with a small discount for my trouble! I did not hire Big Boy Movers to move my entire apartment in two consecutive moves several days apart for double the money, but they seemed to think that this was entirely reasonable. I would not recommend using Big Boy Movers if you wish for a professional move of all of your belongings in the same day. read more

2nd time using these great young men. Thank you for working hard and accomplishing so much. I highly recommend Big Boy Movers.

Josh and Dallin showed up right on time and were very personable. They helped us load our trailer and they did a great job on moving things without doing any damage to walls or our items. Big Boy movers is priced reasonably lower then competitors. They were great to work with and we would recommend them to everyone! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. I was in a MAJOR bind after my movers stood me up 2 days in a row and was on a tight deadline to get out of my apartment. The owner called me back very quickly after I left a message and got a couple guys out to my place within an hour and they were completely done within an hour and a half. They were incredibly friendly, very professional and everything was moved safely with no damage. Thank you again Big Boy Movers!! read more

Found these guys online, liked the price and they had great reviews. I couldn't be happier with our move. They loaded our 26' trailer in an hour and a half because everything was wrapped and boxed and ready to go. They really hustled like crazy and kept smiles and were so pleasant. They had some fairly heavy dressers to carry and never complained. They took stuff wherever instructed and finished even earlier than we had them scheduled. We had 4 hours set and they were totally done in 3 hours loading and unloading. At times they were even jogging back to the truck to get more loads. I will definitely use them again if ever needed. read more

I would give NO star if I could and DO NOT hire them. I had my reservation at noon and they did NOT show up, no phone calls and no apologizes. I called and they said they had to push our appointment two and a half hours late. We had our own uhaul rental and wasted 2.5 hours of financial and time loss on our end. Their manager did not resolve the issue and simple told me that I could cancel the appointment with no penalty. OMG, please it's fault on their end and he's talking about penalties???? I would not hire a MOVING COMPANY if I could do it on my own. So by all means, just go with some other options. Definitely a 0/100 to this company. read more

These guys were great!! Friendly, on time & willing to help with disassembling etc. Quick & going to use them again for sure!! Also, never seen a pod packed that well. Used every square inch. Very pleased. read more

The communication received by BiG Boy Movers was superior (5++)and very timely which was appreciated and reduced the anxiety of the move! Overall, we rate a "4" to the 2 movers and the company. There were 2 movers plus my husband, who loaded a 26 ft U-Haul from a 1100 sq ft single level home and single garage in about 2.5 hours as planned. Their energy and personality helped to get us through the drudgery of the move. They would have gotten a higher rating if they had not been 15 minutes late but more importantly....They dropped a cabinet on our wood floor and made a big gauge!! The home buyers will not be happy and we may have to replace the wood...It could be pretty high $$$ to fix. All they had to do to avoid this was "use" the furniture dolly "straps" instead of leaving it loose and turn it wide, not long and up in the air on the dolly...Inexperience was obvious on almost all of these type of items. Also they began to "throw" skiis and other items toward the top to fill it instead of using a ladder or step stool and "placing" them (we had a ladder and stool to use)..That was scary! For future reference....I would recommend they use the Dolly's that were provided more too for boxes. This would move more and be more time efficient plus...Save their backs. I suggested it several times but they chose not to use them much. Thanks again for your help. read more

Big Boy movers Tyler and Cameron are guys we could adopt. (Just kidding) they understand how to move big furniture and fit it through tight spots without touching walls or door frames. They don't waste time; get right to it. At the same time they are polite, conversational, and great to work with. Thanks to them for doing a tough job for us. read more

Big Boy Movers rescued us from the failings of Global Transportation who was supposed to have people ready to unload our truck when it arrived but failed to do so. We were so grateful for their help! read more

As a real estate agent in Utah County I am always on the lookout for a good moving company to recommend to my clients. I had heard of Big Boy movers and because of their low prices decided to use them to move our piano. Know that when you hire Big Boy Movers, LLC your stuff will be moved by young 160-180 lb (maybe 190lb) college students. They fit the profile of the company name exactly, big boys, not big men. So they will be fast and agile if you need lots of little boxes moved. But DO NOT let them move your piano or other extremely heavy objects. Especially don't let them move these heavy items up or down stairs or around tight corners. They simply aren't strong enough and your stuff is likely going to get damaged, but it will be your fault because they have been taught how to make sure it's not theirs. Then when you talk to them you'll get this reply: "Based upon the facts that we discussed during our conversation today, the testimonials from the movers who helped you, and the paperwork on your account: we have come to the conclusion to not reimburse you in regards to the move we completed for you on ...". So if you just have a lot of little stuff then these guys are great because their prices are low and their movers are very nice young men that will work hard and get the job done. read more

They asked me to post a review at the end of the move, even after I told him how I felt... so here goes. Pros: On time, with equipment, 3 workers, moved the large pieces of furniture that I hadn't been able to move myself, across town, in one trip. Did the entire move in under 6 hours. Cons: Complained constantly about how heavy my furniture was, complained about how much furniture I had, complained about how hot the weather was, told me over and over how they wanted a tip in cash, told me he might not have enough gas to get home without my giving a cash tip, one worker went into a box and took candy out of it (when I asked him what he was doing - with a handful of candys- he told me the box of candy was open, when I reminded the workers that I was on a fixed budget, they started telling me that driving time was doubled and they didnt know how long it would take them to remove the remainder of my items from the truck. I told them to take it off and leave it in the driveway... I couldn't afford more time for them to take the remaining items upstairs. They added costs for wrapping plastic around drawers, wanted more money to "assemble" (I told them dont assemble, if it costs more), wanted gas money ( I had been told I wouldnt be charged for gas), and the entire event was very stressful. I paid what they asked, but it was much more than I expected. The person who booked the move was friendly, but when I told him I had a fixed budget for the move, and asked for an estimate so I could judge if I needed 2 or 3 men, and for how long it should take, he led me to believe it could be done in 4 hours. I relied on that, and shouldnt have. I would not recommend these movers unless you have an unlimited budget, and can watch what each of them are doing to ensure they are not going into your boxes and taking things. It might not be just candy, I will never know for sure. read more

I arranged for two movers and they arrived on the scheduled date, however one of them was 20 minutes late - and they had no moving equipment with them. No gloves or dollies. When I asked them about their lack of equipment, they told me the manager never told them to bring equipment or supplies. I called Big Boy and spoke with "Mike" who stated the customer must request equipment and/or supplies for moving. Moving Staffers contracted this move for me with Big Boy and when I telephoned Moving Staffers, the agent stated it is regulation for moving companies to always provide their workers with equipment and never does the customer need to request it. I have moved many times and movers always have equipment - it is part of their job! If you show-up and you don't have a dolly, how do you plan to move couches, beds, refrigerators, washer/dryer without a equipment? Tools save time and money and protect the workers and the customer's belongings. The movers therefore carried all of my boxes from the 4th floor to the back of the parking lot by hand - stacking boxes as they walked and putting undue weight/force on the lowest box as they carried them. If they stacked the boxes on a dolly, as should have been done, the box on the bottom would not have undue weight pushing on the bottom of the box - increasing the potential of the box breaking open. This also allows the movers to move more than two boxes at a time - saving energy, protecting their physical condition, time, and money. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible move which Mike at Big Boy Movers compounded these issues by doing nothing to assist with, or rectify the problem. If I had the time in my schedule, I would have postponed the move on that day and re-scheduled with another company. read more

A friend recommended these movers to me and I wasn't disappointed. They were easy to deal with from the reservation all the way to the move. Jamal and Zach arrived on time and with a friendly and professional attitude. They handled my furniture with care which was very important to me. I highly recommend them for a no worry move. read more

They broke my the leg off of my daughters $1000.00 dresser, they dropped my LG washer, they broke a shelf by standing on it, and they scratched up my master head board. They keep telling us they will call us back and they don't. We had them put everything in a storage unit while we build our house. They took pictures. They want us to pull those items out of the storage unit so they can inspect them. We told them that is why we hired movers. We are still waiting for a call back. read more

They showed up and were friendly and they did bring the right equipment. However they chose not to use that equipment and decided to just try to carry our piano. They dropped it and did significant damage. Even after this they still did not go get the piano dolly they just continued to carry it. It was just two guys. Then it took us a week to get in touch with their office to discuss this. We were told it doesn't matter how much it costs to fix it they wouldn't pay more then half the cost of the move. This piano is a family heirloom. They showed no sympathy for their carelessness. read more

I would give 0/5 if i could! 2 movers arrived (both looked like college students), with NO DOLLY... NO BACK STRAPS... NO OTHER HELP...NO BACK BRACES OR ANYTHING TO PROTECT THEM! The were told a dolly was not needed.... which is UNBELIEVABLE seeing that this is a MOVING COMPANY!!!! My very expensive dresser (which HAD moving blankets and pads wrapped on it) was SEVERELY damaged with indents and scratches by having these two people try to move it (and removing those pads before moving it)... I MEAN THIS IS A MOVING COMPANY... WHO SAID THAT A DOLLY IS AN EXTRA FEE!!?!?!?! SERIOUSLY!? I talked to the manager and she was not helpful at all...said they would take pictures of the dresser and then someone would "follow up" with me later. I'm reporting this company to the BBB... as not only are they completely incompetent, but also clearly do not care for their movers at all... I mean even if there were just boxes to be moved, a dolly seems like a necessity to get the job done.... right?! UNBELIEVABLE... if you use UPACK... and/or movingstaffers.com and you get assigned to this company... have them change it immediately TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY.... i told these guys to quit, because this is absurd!!!! Seriously, a lawsuit waiting to happen!!!! read more

We were very disappointed by our experience with Big Boy Movers. They had no regard for the treatment of our furniture let alone our home. Corners were damaged and the furniture was badly moved. My biggest concern was for our piano. When I was told it would cost an additional $50 for moving the piano, I thought special equipment was going to used to secure it properly. Not the case! They hand carried it out of the front door and had to stop and lean it on the stairs. (Only 4 stairs) They then put it on a flimsy furniture mover which bumped the paino around going over the sidewalk. The furniture was packed in the truck badly and they had to make two trips. Some of our chairs were turned over and stacked on the piano. The final bill was not what we expected. Next time I will hire family and friends. They may not be professional movers, but neither is Big Boy. read more

Moved a heavy, old piano out of our basement and Jason did a fantastic job. He knew just what to do and how to do it.

I am 61, my sister is 68, and we needed to move our 90 year old mother. We needed help! We made arrangements and had a confirmation email for 2 movers to show up at 8 AM for 2 hours. The morning of the move, no one showed up. We called the office only to find out that the office did not open until 9. When we finally got ahold of someone in the office, we were told that our appointment must have been deleted from the system. It would take over an hour for them to get some men there to help with the move. Luckily, we had 2 men in the family that could help us. read more
