We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

At my new house the unloading went very quick and they took great care to make sure furniture was placed in the correct rooms. I have hired many movers in the past, usually through U-Haul's recommended partners and they should…read morenot recommend Apex. To start, I never heard from the company after booking, so I had to call to confirm the details of the move 24 hours prior to their arrival. Annoying, but it left me concerned about them showing up. I should have trusted my gut there, but instead took the glass half full approach that it would work out. Mistake on my part. Full of excuses about a series of remarkably unfortunate events, day of the move they showed up 4 and a half hours late, causing a delay in the rest of the move as a result. By the time they arrived I had already called friends to come help me because I assumed they would no show (+0.5 star for actually arriving). So there was nothing to load in the truck and now they just had to unload at my new home. Unloaded the truck in about an hour (+0.5 star for speed, up to 1 full star now), and then told me I had to approve the move and they'd refund me the difference because Uhaul actually processes the payment (3 hours minus 2 hours is 1 hour of being charged). The owner assured me once UHaul cleared the money he'd refund me the difference. You'll be shocked to hear that never happened and I've been ghosted by the owner. Lesson learned for me. People suck and I paid for it. I do not recommend this company. If the owner reads this, remember moving is a stresful event in someone's life. Failing to communicate and not obligating promises isn't just indecent, it's poor way to run a business.

They brought all the necessary equipment to do the job. They were polite and worked diligently, and carefully. It was slightly difficult to find movers willing to work on sunday, but James and Donny were up for it. They took good care of my belongings and didn't damage anything. They even helped me unwrap my furniture which they didnt wrap themselves. They arranged everything the way i wanted it, and left me happy at the end of the move.
