They showed up early and were already backed up to my gate with the Uboxes open and ready to start loading. They scheduled my move for two hours and finished in one hour! They carefully wrapped all of my furniture in moving blankets and packed my stuff into the boxes so that the next movers, who will be moving me into my new apartment in a new city, won't have any issues. I have only ever given one other…read moreonline review, but I had such a TERRIBLE experience with this company's "management" that I HAD to post a review to hopefully save someone the same trouble and negativity I experienced. I have a mixed review between the actual movers, the so-called managers, and the actual owner, so I only gave an overall rating of 3 stars. I will separate the different "services" we received. The movers: they were decent. The only other experience I had with movers was a company that moved my parents house. They packed up the ENTIRE house-without anyone present I might add, loaded it in a truck, and we got all our belongings safely to our new home. I expected something similar, but this was not the case. They sent four guys, one of them was assigned to be the leader. He told me "you have to tell my guys what to do or they will just stand around." Really? They didn't box up and haul out the things I asked them to and they loaded the things I was going to donate. I rented my own uhaul and when I went to get it my sister told me they didn't do any work while I was away. It was about 40 min. I understand if they felt unsure what to do during that time, but there was PLENTY of things to move and things that could have been done during that time. Also, when I got back they told me I was out of tape to seal up the boxes. I just would have appreciated a phone call before then so we didn't have to take more time for my sister to run back out to the store and get more. It just would have been helpful, but it's not like that made them terrible movers or anything. They were decent, not fantastic or terrible. If you hire them and expect to give lots of direction you'll be fine. The "management:" I have NEVER encountered such incompetent selfish managers in all my life as a costumer. Come to find out they were the source of many of the problems I had in this company. The movers told me they didn't know that I they would be helping with packing, just loading. I had specifically scheduled this at the beginning and then CALLED TO CONFIRM a few days before the move, but never received a phone call back. They said this was a common problem with the "front desk guys" (he didn't even refer to them as managers which come to find out is what they are) and they don't get a lot of the information they need before arriving to a job site. Also, when I first called to inquire about there serviced I explained what I needed and it was THE COMPANY that suggested sending out 3 guys and said that would be plenty, but then on the actual day they sent out 4. I definitely needed the help, but it doesn't seem like it was scheduled or communicated correctly and I ended up paying a higher hourly rate than what I signed up for. What if I had been on a tight budget? When I originally called to report that the movers hadn't worked for the 40 min I was gone getting the uhaul I wasn't calling disgruntled or demanding my money back. I thought it would have been a fair decent gesture for them to offer that, but Justin, one of the "managers" said that there are two sides to every story and he would have to talk to "his guys." There are multiple problems with this and I don't think I have to explain. Then he went on to tell me it was probably my fault. I got really upset and he said "i'm not yelling at you. And as I'm sure you've heard I've passed up 4 other phone calls because I'm talking to you." Someone needs to teach this guy how a business runs and what customer service is. The other "manager" I spoke with wasn't much more help. He said he was the owners brother and the office manager and that I couldn't be talking to someone better than him as he threatened to "yell" and "get rude with me back." I got in touch with him because he had left me a voicemail that I thought was him following up with my previous complaint, but he didn't even know why he was calling in the first place. Just that he "had a missed call from this number." After I re-explained my complaint and then my additional complaints with how rude Justin was he said he was sorry, but that was all he could offer me. He said "all you've done is call and complain and you haven't told me what I can do for you or what you want!" I hung up because he was yelling and talking over me so I had my husband call back. Then the guy FINALLY had the owner call him. The owner: My husband said he was very nice and apologized for the way his staff handled the situation. It was nice to get a call from him, but I really hope he takes a good look at who he has managing his company because apparently they don't care enough about customer service and could ruin this guys company. By 8:40 AM, no one had arrived, so I reached out and received no response. The movers did not arrive until just before 10:00 AM, with no communication or apology regarding the delay. The move was completed at approximately 11:26 AM, yet we were still charged $495 for a full 3-hour minimum. Had they arrived at the agreed-upon appointment time, the job likely would have been much closer to the timeframe they charged for. Instead, we were billed for time during which no services were being provided. When I attempted to discuss the issue, Charles became argumentative and unwilling to reasonably address my concerns. Comments I left on the Venmo transaction were deleted, and my negative review was also removed. There was also very little documentation or transparency regarding the billing terms or transaction. Their response also stated that Tooele was "46 miles away," but if distance was an issue, the job should not have been accepted or should have been scheduled appropriately. Overall, this experience felt extremely unprofessional and poorly handled. I would strongly encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

Lost Over $5,000 Due to This Company!!!!…read more ***Review for atlasmovingcompany.co*** formerly atlasmovingcompany.com, in Utah I hired Atlas Moving Company in December 2025 and the experience cost me over $5,000 in total losses. Here is the breakdown: Initial payment for services: $2,000 (company failed to complete move, didn't finish apartment clean, left behind bedroom furniture) Property destroyed by rat infestation: $2,500 (caused by company storing garbage near my belongings) Key replacement: $300 (company failed to return my car, house and mail keys) Additional storage costs and gauging: Stored my items in unauthorized storage unit, Apex Storage, and failed to obtain my permission to do so. They failed to place my name with Apex, and Apex denied me access to my belongings. The company withheld my property for weeks and I had to file a police report to track down my belongings and get them returned. When they were returned, extensive damage had occurred due to rats attracted by improperly stored garbage. Public records show the company was **dissolved** by the State of Utah during our transaction, and only reinstated after police involvement. The company has been unresponsive to my attempts to resolve this matter. Litigation pending ... warning ... they've branched into Idaho, beware Idaho!! This has been an expensive lesson. Unfortunately, they lack professionalism, care, and proper equipment. So, if you don't care if your items get damaged, they are very nice, and also very helpful. First off, they didn't have their own moving truck or proper tools. They rented a moving truck from U-Haul, and buy moving supplies from there as well. Since I only needed a bedroom set moved, they rented a trailer instead of a truck. Not only did they slightly damage my furniture, he said he'd have a plastic mattress cover, but apparently UHaul didn't have a king plastic cover that day, so they showed up without one, and then proceeded to absolutely trash my fabric mattress protector they used instead of the plastic cover he quoted me for. I immediately had to toss it once they put the mattress on my bed frame in the new location. The two bedside tables didn't get banged up, but the bed frame and dresser saw the move. Once they arrived more than an hour late, and began taking my bedroom set apart, they asked to use my tools. I handed them my tool bag and went on doing my own thing while I waited for them. They loaded everything up, including a small television for me, and off we all went. They unloaded my things, and then he said he needed $400 more than he originally quoted me in order to pay his helper for taking so long. His mistake, and he asked me to pay for it. I agreed to pay half of it, but really? Be ready to pay much more than the original quote that sounds like such a great deal!!!
