Lost Over $5,000 Due to This Company!!!!…read more ***Review for atlasmovingcompany.co*** formerly atlasmovingcompany.com, in Utah I hired Atlas Moving Company in December 2025 and the experience cost me over $5,000 in total losses. Here is the breakdown: Initial payment for services: $2,000 (company failed to complete move, didn't finish apartment clean, left behind bedroom furniture) Property destroyed by rat infestation: $2,500 (caused by company storing garbage near my belongings) Key replacement: $300 (company failed to return my car, house and mail keys) Additional storage costs and gauging: Stored my items in unauthorized storage unit, Apex Storage, and failed to obtain my permission to do so. They failed to place my name with Apex, and Apex denied me access to my belongings. The company withheld my property for weeks and I had to file a police report to track down my belongings and get them returned. When they were returned, extensive damage had occurred due to rats attracted by improperly stored garbage. Public records show the company was **dissolved** by the State of Utah during our transaction, and only reinstated after police involvement. The company has been unresponsive to my attempts to resolve this matter. Litigation pending ... warning ... they've branched into Idaho, beware Idaho!! This has been an expensive lesson. I strongly recommend using a different moving company!!!

They insisted on moving one box at a time, EVEN THOUGH A DOLLY WAS OFFERED, which would have drastically increased the speed and efficiency of the moving process. It was never used! I had an unusual experience with Gutter Boys that showed me a great deal about their…read moreprofessionalism and integrity. I needed larger six-inch gutters and downspouts because heavy rain can overwhelm the existing system and cause flooding at my home. Gutter Boys came out, carefully walked the property with me, understood the drainage problems, and prepared a detailed quote covering the gutters, downspouts, heat cable, valley shield, and gutter guards. Their representative was knowledgeable and confident, and their recommendations gave me a lot of confidence in the company. Their complete quote was $4,520--about $400 less than the competing $4,922 quote I had received for substantially the same scope. Based on my conversations with them, I intended to hire Gutter Boys. Unfortunately, while rushing to complete the project before surgery and the next major storm, I mistakenly approved both companies' proposals. Another contractor completed the installation the day before Gutter Boys was scheduled to arrive. Gutter Boys had already reserved the day, arranged for their six-inch gutter machine, and sent a crew to my home before I realized my mistake. They had every reason to be frustrated, but they handled the situation graciously and professionally. I offered to compensate them $250 for the lost time and scheduling disruption. They accepted that amount and promptly refunded the remaining $625 of my deposit. I cannot review their finished installation because my mistake prevented them from doing the work. I can say that their evaluation was thorough, their quote was detailed and competitively priced, their communication was excellent, and their conduct after losing a full day of work was exceptionally fair. I would confidently call Gutter Boys first for future gutter work.
