A Saturday morning done right! Savannah 912 bagel with an iced chai latte. The simple bacon, egg, and cheese on their in-house made bagels is delicious! Modern and chill vibes making it a great meetup spot to sip a drink and catch up or unwind. read more

The drinks here are actually pretty good!! The Thai tea tastes really authentic, and the horchata was a nice touch too. The Savannah 912 was probably my favorite, I'd definitely order it again if I were to come back. The pesto caprese, though, wasn't really for me. It was just way too filling, and I didn't think the flavors balanced that well together. Overall, I'd say the food is just okay. Not bad, but not anything I'd go out of my way for. I'd probably just get the Savannah 912 and stick with the drinks. read more

Came to Big Bon Bodega to try their bagels, and overall it was a good experience. I ordered the traditional Savannah bagel with eggs and bacon, it was tasty, but I wouldn't say it's the greatest bagel I've ever had. That said, the place itself really stands out. It has a super cute, upscale vibe that makes it feel a little more special than your typical breakfast spot. It's definitely one of those places where the atmosphere is part of the experience. I think it really depends on your mood. If I'm super hungry and just want something filling and satisfying, I'd probably go for a chicken biscuit from Chick-fil-A. But if I'm in the mood for something a bit different with a nicer, more elevated feel, I'd come back here. read more

We had a large group in town for a bachelorette so we needed to find a spot that we could all get a quick hangover cure. This was the perfect place to grab a quick bagel and coffee! I had a sesame bagel with sausage egg and cheese and it was so good! (Peep the amazing cheese pull) I also had the churro caramel latte and had it made hot. It was just sweet enough and so delish! Others ordered bagel sandwiches, pizza, and coffees too and they all said they were fabulous! Definitely would come back here for breakfast the next time I'm in town. Service was friendly and quick, the inside seating was clean, and the outdoor patio area was perfect for the weather! read more

Unbelievable incompetence. Big Bon Bodega is great if you don't have any allergies or extra needs from the staff. I have a gluten allergy. Gluten allergies are different than celiac disease. Some celiacs can tolerate gluten-free wheat starch since the only part of the wheat molecule that they react to is the gluten. However, people with gluten allergies and even some celiacs cannot tolerate gluten or wheat regardless if it has been chemically altered to not contain the gluten particle. I went in and I specifically asked them, "Do your bagels contain gluten-free wheat starch?" Because I know that the ones at Spread do. She called her manager and reassured me that they had no gluten in them or gluten-free wheat starch. So I start eating my bagel, and I can just feel something is wrong. I go up, I ask her the brand name. I look up the brand name. First ingredient on the website of the brand: gluten-free wheat starch. I have them go into the back and find the packaging. Gluten-free wheat starch. I could not have been more specific, and now I'm having an allergic reaction. My entire day is canceled and ruined. I had two classes today, at an extracurricular meeting for the newspaper that I work with. I have to go home and lay in bed all day for the rest of the day because of the incompetence of this manager. Also, I'm probably gonna break out and feel terrible and bloated for up to two weeks. Unbelievable incompetence all around. They did offer to give me a full refund, but my health and well-being is worth more than $56 read more

We were in the mood for some fresh bagels so a quick search resulted in Big Bon Bodega coming up. The outside was very welcoming on a sunny day with picnic benches setup under big red umbrellas. Inside, we were met with a friendly cashier that told us all the good bagel to spread combinations. We went with an Everything and a Roasted Herb bagel. For spreads we got the pimento and roasted herb. I can't begin to tell you how fresh and flavorful the bagels were. They had that nice chewy texture to them that you get with only the freshest of bagels. Our favorite of the two spreads was the vegan roasted herb. It was so spreadable and so herby. I recommend Big Bon Bodega for some of the freshest and most delicious spreads in Savannah. read more

You can never go wrong with bagels! This is THE place for good bagels and coffee. They also have pizza, and they look good too so you can't go wrong with it. I ordered the Parisian, lox & shmear, and a small lavender honey latte. It did take a few minutes because they do get busy and it is a popular spot for a lot of people. Prices aren't bad either, and for the quality of the food, definitely worth it! Love the staff, love the outdoor and indoor seating, and would definitely come back here next time im in Savannah! read more

I'm such a fan of this place. Anytime we are here in Savannah, I will always bring my family here to get some AMAZING bagel sandwiches. It pretty tight in their space, which is okay. The place is designed for a grab and go, especially since they are next to a university. BBB couldn't pick a better spot. High foot traffic equates to uptick for on the go food runs. Amazing people here. Make sure to give them a good tip after! "They're your tastebuds. Satisfy them!" -Allan Delacruz read more

I wanted to stop by again after receiving ownership feedback and went to try other bagel shops. I felt that my one concern was unfair because prices were similar and cheaper compared to the other areas. And as a bagel lover, you taste the quality of the food here. Especially if you REALLY want a good bagel sandwich. Between the food quality, diverse menu, the service and the atmosphere, this place will continue to be one of my favorite spots in Savannah and will visit everytime I'm in the area. read more

I was really craving a Savannah 912 Bagel today. So I drove from Pembroke to Savannah (the pooler one disappointed me twice before). I drove through heavy rain and walked out of my car, only to find out that they closed BEFORE THE CLOSING TIME I understand I came 20 minutes before closing but I still did not expect for them to be closed... highly disappointed about the unprofessionalism. read more

Wowza! I could have ate here every day on our Savannah trip. The bagel sandwiches are out of this world. It seems like I missed a huge opportunity to try a coffee or matcha so now I just have to go back next time I'm in town. read more

Cute space, good bagels. I was hoping to get cold brew but they were out of that and drip coffee on a Saturday at 9am, so that was a bummer. Got an Americano but the cup lid wouldn't connect with the cup so it was a little messy. Would go back to try pizzas and bowls but will stick with iced coffee next time! read more

This place is such a nice place. I love that they have outside seating. As soon as you walk in the building, you can smell all the bagels. We ordered the Vietnamese bagel and the flavors were a hit. The bagel itself was a little bit more dense than I prefer. However, everything worked out together very well and I can't wait to go back and try something else. The service was very quick and fast paced, but everybody was very nice and did their best to work through us as fast as they could. But we did not mind waiting in line because there was a lot of things to see and look at and choose from. read more

This is the first place I've ever eaten in Savannah, GA and my god they set the bar impressively high. I consider myself a pretty well traveled person, I also lived in NYC for 14 years which is known for bagel/breakfast sandwiches. Pretty solid bagel. Coffee was good. People were friendly. Plenty of seating outside.

Enjoyed BBB's bagel sandwiches. We ordered a simple egg/bacon/cheese and turkey bagel. Bagels had great texture and flavor. Indoor options were limited; outdoor space is plentiful. Reminded us of a big city bodega setup. Price point well reflects portions. read more

I've gotten the lox bagel twice now and I can say it's pretty good! I loooove lox bagels so I know when to spot a good one . Very good, especially on a cheddar bagel hehehe. Also! Their coffee is really good and I love their play on flavors! I would come here often but my cons to this place ties in with being a little bit more expensive than what I would expect for the outcome but it's still a nice place to sit down and hangout especially when the weather gets nice. My response to the owner respectfully, this is a forum for good or bad reviews and any review should be looked at from an open perspective. My intention wasn't to downplay your dedication, work ethic or effort you put into your establishment. Went here for breakfast at 9am on a Wednesday and they had no drip coffee. So we left

This was a fantastic stop on our trip! We always visit Savannah and this was a new spot I had found on yelp and I was so happy that we were able to stop here because everything was so good! Now their isn't any seating on the inside but they do have benches and high tops outside. And They have 1 bathroom per gender so it was a little tricky with the line up front and people waiting to use the bathroom. But it's small location:) These bagels were fantastic. I got the Korean mama that Guy Fieri tried. It was so good!!!! The Bulgogi beef was tender and delicious and the kimchi cream cheese was mouthwatering I would definitely get it again. My husband got the Savannah bagel that was pretty good I loved the herb butter and my son got a plain bagel. We couldn't leave without one of their cinnamon rolls that are proof for 24 hours and honestly you can taste the difference it was soft and had a beautiful cinnamon flavor. Everything was delicious. And the coffee from Fox coffee I got the Honeybear latte that I can't stop thinking about I've never had anything like it before. I can't wait to stop back in on our next trip to try pizza. I heard incredible. read more

Someone forgot to send me the memo that Big Bon Bodega has amazing bagels. I should have been a regular by now. The ambiance was very chill during my visit. Service was awesome. I mean, another DDD place! When Guy loves it, I have to try it! This was a great place in downtown Savannah. It is not super close to river street, but it is worth the walk or drive. I came for the Pizza this time. I got 3 different ones. The Buffalo chicken and Korean beef were a tie for the most amazing! The crust is super thick and filling. Cool square pizza. Service was great. I got mine to go, but the location was great. I would eat outside weather permitting. read more

I'll start by saying that I've only been here in the morning, this is not a reflection of their pizza! Been here twice now & my husband & I are big fans! We've tried these bagel sammies thus far: * Pimento Pig - Yum! Order if you're looking for a flavorful breakfast sandwich * Bon Mi - My husband ordered b/c he lovvvvves Bon Mi and he was veryyyy happy * Parisian - One word, rich! I ordered with an egg & I wouldn't recommend adding, it's great as is! * Warm Bagel w/ Scallion & Herb Spread - May be my new go to, this fixed my craving for a good ol' bagel with cream cheese! Yes, their bagels are great, but!! Do NOT leave here without a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie (if they aren't sold out yet). If you know what's good for you. Recommend splitting. Also highly recommend an iced oatmilk latte - one of the best in town! FYI, I think there's only outdoor seating, with a few stools indoors. We always park on a side street nearby. Staff is always kind & working hard. We'll be back! read more

Absolutely LOVED it at Big Bon Bodega. My only regret is that we didn't get to try more of the menu options. We had breakfast and sat outside to enjoy our food, and of course people watch. It was an absolute vibe and everything was so peaceful. I ordered the Lox & Schmear bagel, which was so good and incredibly filling! To accompany it, I ordered the Lavender Honey Latte and I didn't know how much I needed coffee with lavender! I also saw the barista make it and it was made with so much love! The menu here is quite extensive and I'm excited to try more of their bagels. I ended up getting the Parisian which came with sliced prosciutto, brie cheese, herbed butter and seasonal preserves all on a roasted herb bagel. I also got the Savannah 912. That one came with bacon, two egg patties, cheddar & American cheese, herbed butter, on an everything bagel. My favorite of the two was the Parisian. I loved the flavors, the sweet and the salty was well balanced. It was perfect. I can't wait to try the Korean mama, Lox & Smear and the Bon Mi! I'm looking forward to my next visit to Savannah. The Thai tea was alright, it could've been a bit sweeter. The service was decent. There's seating inside but majority of the tables are on the outside. read more

We stopped by to pick up some bagels before we headed home to Atlanta. We bought a three pack of the sesame, herb and blueberry lemon bagels. The bagels had a nice chew and delicious flavor.
