Big Blues Seafood is a white-colored truck that serves up various seafood - when we went, the menu was pretty extensive, offering crabs, fried shrimp, crabcakes, crab cheese fries, fried fish, lemon butter stuffed rockfish, etc. Crabs were out, but dishes that used crabs were still available.
I ordered a crab cake sandwich - definitely not the picture that was posted on the outside (I think it's may be just a general picture of a crab cake sandwich); I expected the sesame seed-topped bun with pickles and the cheese, but it was actually just a bun with a large-sized crab cake.
The crab cake itself was okay; I wished that there was either a fried or a broiled option, since it automatically came deep-fried. It was more on the salty end and had a fishy taste to it; the size was pretty generous.
The sandwich came with a choice of 2 sides (from french fries, onion rings, coleslaw, or green beans), I opted for the onion rings and the coleslaw. I was a fan of the coleslaw, as it was creamy and had a nice tang to it!
Service was very friendly and welcoming!
