From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared for families. The home itself was beautiful and incredibly well stocked with amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, including cookware, utensils, spices, and little conveniences that made it feel more like a home than a rental. Every space felt intentional and cozy, from the inviting foyer entrance to the comfortable living room, the two bedrooms, and the outdoor patio area. There were so many little spots to relax and enjoy during our stay. Traveling with small children can sometimes make vacations stressful, but this place made things so much easier for us. One of our favorite features was being able to let the kids safely play indoors in the enclosed front room without worrying about mosquitoes or them wandering off. We also loved grilling outside in the back patio area while knowing the kids were secure in the gated space. It gave us peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax as a family. The neighborhood was another huge plus. It was peaceful, quiet, and family-friendly, with very little traffic since the road leads to a dead end. Even though it felt tucked away and serene, we were still just minutes from everything. Shops, restaurants, and the Village were all conveniently nearby (only about a 5-minute drive away) which made exploring Big Bear Village super easy. Inside, the beds were extremely cozy, there were plenty of clean towels, the shower was fully stocked, and the refrigerator had more than enough space for groceries and family meals. The extra touches really made the experience memorable for us (especially the board games and the Pac-Man arcade machine in the living room) which both the kids and adults enjoyed! Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and truly helped make our family trip special. We would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Big Bear Lake.

Not much rental activity except in the winter, damage to the property that went unreported by housekeeping, and just the general vibe that our small cabin was a very low priority for them. Finally, we made the decision to change management this summer after we completed a remodel. I found Leanne in a Big Bear FB group online along with several other PMs who responded to a post I made about looking for new management. Leanne was the only one who provided helpful, tangible information when she reached out to me. We spoke and then I decided she and SkyHigh cabins would be our new managers. The onboarding process was smooth and detailed. They are extremely professional and walked me through the different stages of getting ready to "go live" on the various platforms they use. It took about 6 weeks to get everything completely switched over. But when we did go live in mid-October 2025, all I can say is WOW!! We've had 12 reservations made in just over a week's time! We didn't have 12 reservations in the last year total with the old company, so this has been very, very exciting for us. Aside from all of that, Leanne, Jennifer and their team are very communicative and helpful. If you are looking for new management, I cannot recommend them enough. Just do what they tell you to do, use their vendors, and follow their lead. They have figured out the algorithms and rental platforms to such a degree that your property will actually start to pay for itself. We were on the verge of selling our cabin, but now, we will be able to hold on to it. Call them today!!

What I noticed about the location of this cabin was that it was further away from the heavy tourist areas but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. So if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect getaway from the everyday stresses of life. This cabin includes a living room with a cute fireplace, a small but full kitchen with a eating area, full bathroom (water pressure is good and it heats up pretty quickly), a bedroom with a closet, access to the backyard, a front porch and a cozy loft with a flatscreen TV that I didn't touch once. I was primarily there solo to detox from the busy life of Los Angeles and not to ski since I was there beginning of May. Snuggle Bear Cabin had everything I needed to detox. I laid out my yoga mat and meditation pillow upstairs in the loft and it had an inviting view of tall trees out the window. It was a perfect environment to reflect on life, letting all creative juices flow, read and write. The solitude was exceptionally welcome. The final full day that I was there, my boyfriend came up to join me. And really...all we did was snuggle. From the beginning to the end we had the best experience. The mansion has so much history, is perfect to accommodate multiple families with en suites, huge kitchen, many places to relax, and plenty to do. We had kids from ages 4 to 10. We thought we would run out of things for them to do. Not at all. The mansion is so huge, they had plenty of room to stretch out, the hills on the property provided for fun sledding and snowman building. The adults were either at the sauna, jacuzzi, kitchen, outside in the snow walking the 2 acres of property or just relaxing in one of the many comfy nooks. I highly recommend Edgewood Mansion for any type of event whether it's a birthday trip, family reunion, corporate retreat or any other purpose where you want to feel like you're at home, or provided for like a Queen. The location which is located higher up in the mountains is away from the traffic. The accommodations are immaculate and the concierge services provided by Chantal who was available to us 24/7 before we got there and during, was spot on. We catered instead of cooking which was so much easier on everyone so we could enjoy each other's company versus cooking. Chantal gave us choices and she had Mexican food delivered one night, Italian catered another and on New Years Eve we had a personal chef, Mike who is a master chef create the most delicious surf and turf dinner. We had piles of Alaskan king crab legs and the freshest, tastiest filet. Everything was provided. This was an amazing trip because of where we stayed, the owner Laura who was so accommodating and Chantal who was so helpful. Our friends have not stopped thanking us for coordinating this trip. We all got to spend time together with the kids together and not feeling overwhelmed because everything was at our fingertips.
