Stopped by on a weekday afternoon. Lots of parking and a lot of seating available for larger groups. The restaurant was nice and clean. We sat in a booth and ordered at the counter. Service while ordering was good. Nothing really stood out but she was nice. Food: 1 meat plate with Brisket add side order of Sausage. Beans and Sweet Corn as sides. The corn was delicious. The brisket was tender and sausage was tasty. The BBQ Beans is a no for me. It was too tangy for my liking. My favorite would be in SD and its hard to find any good spots here thqt is similar. Overall, great spot and I'd return again.

We had friends visiting from Hawaii and they wanted bbq so we found this place. Upon entering, there was no one to greet us but the venue is big and cleaned. It was a Texas style BBQ place and the venue was full of benches style seats and tables. We walked up to the cashier and studied the menu and ordered. We ordered a 3 meat plates that come with 2 sides, however if we want ribs that's $5 extra. The wife decided to try 1/2 rack of baby back pork ribs which they were generous about and they were soft and moist and falling off the bones. It was perfectly cooked. She also ordered beef ribs which also cost an extra $5 and that came with 2 big ribs per order. The beef ribs could use additional 5 mins of cooking time as they were kinda tough. The briskets were good and soft but not as moist as we had hoped. The fried okra was amazing! It was cooked perfectly and crispy. The Mac & cheese could use some more milk in it as the cheese was really condensed and on the dry side. We washed all these down with their self serve sweet iced tea so refills were free. Overall I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5. I recommend they cook the beef ribs longer, add more milk to Mac & cheese and oh don't order their fries. It was soggy and limp.

We were craving some Texas bbq for dinner and since we were in the area we decided to order take out. We haven't been back to big b in a while at their old location that they closed down. Honestly Its overpriced for the amount of meat they give u is very little specially for the price $21.99 + tax. We ordered a 2 meat combo w the 2 side we got wet brisket and the sausage w Mac n cheese and coleslaw w the spicy bbq sauce. The sausage was ok and brisket was a little bland and dry, the Mac n cheese were good but the coleslaw was not the best.husband enjoyed the spicy bbq sauce but other than that I think John mulls is by far way better in taste and they give you a lot.

We were craving some BBQ and with so many choices on the west side, we like to try new spots. We got an ad for this spot in the mail and decided to give them a shot. Located in the southeast corner shopping center at the intersection of Cimarron and Sahara, there is a lot of parking and different stores in the strip mall. The restaurant is huge, with lots of seating for large and small parties. They have a bar and serve Blue Bell ice cream by the scoop! We ordered a 2-item with trip-tip and brisket, Mac & cheese, and green beans and a pulled pork sandwich combo with fries. The tri-tip was delicious. Nice and juicy and didn't really need any extras. Just a nice piece of meat. The brisket was dry and needed sauce, which is a little on the vinegar-y side for me. The green beans were not my favorite and tasted more blanched than cooked, however, the mac & cheese was pretty darn tasty! One of the best we've had in a quick service BBQ spot. The pulled pork sandwich came dry, but the bun was soaked in the grease from the pork. Definitely added some bbq sauce here as well. The fries are well seasoned and were nice and hot. Overall, the food was good, and next time we'll try dining in to try the different sauces.

We took our family, seven of us, to Big B's Texas Barbecue and what a find! From the moment we walked in, it just felt right. The place is so charming inside very homey and comfortable with that cozy Western vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. There are TVs everywhere, so it's perfect if you want to catch any game and the layout's great with a bar on one side, plenty of seating on the other. You walk up, order at the counter, and then they bring the food right to your table, so easy and relaxed. Every single person we dealt with from the counter crew to the servers was friendly and helpful. The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The barbecue was smoky and tender, prices were very reasonable, and the whole atmosphere just makes you happy to be there. We'll definitely be back.

Half rack beef ribs, 1 lb brisket, Mac & cheese, potato salad, green beans

My husband and I went for lunch on a Monday and there were just a few tables of patrons inside the large establishment. There were plenty of tables to choose from and the restaurant had a Texas/cowboy type theme. We ordered a half rack of beef ribs (4 ribs total) and a pound of moist brisket. For the sides we got potato salad, mac n cheese and green beans. The sides were good- no complaints and the brisket was delicious (moist, juicy, soft). I did think the ribs were a bit overcooked (I didn't enjoy the charred bits) which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Before the food even gets here for me to form an opinion, I want to say 5 stars for the fried okra on the menu. Not only do they have okra, but they also have Blue Bell ice cream, Big Red soda and Lone Star. Oh and according to one member of a party, they have Dr Pepper and that's a winner for him. Time to see how they do a brisket. The rest of the table got ribs and chicken wings. This reviewer only cares about the brisket. It's good and I would come back here but as a picky brisket consumer I wouldn't put I in my top five. The Okra is right up there though. The fries are good too Mix the regulars bbq sauce with the spicy and you will be good to go.

My wife and I just tried Big B's Texas Barbecue for the first time tonight, and wow we finally found our barbecue spot in Vegas. It instantly reminded us of Rudy's Barbecue back in Albuquerque, which we used to love. Same kind of setup where you walk in, place your order at the counter, and then grab a seat at the shared barbecue-style tables. Very laid back, casual, and exactly the kind of vibe you want when you're craving good BBQ. The food was fantastic. The brisket was juicy and perfectly cooked, the tri-tip was tender and full of flavor, and the pulled pork was excellent. Even the fries were amazing. And I have to mention the biscuit soft, buttery, and absolutely delicious. What really stood out though was the service. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and welcoming, which always makes a big difference for us. We've lived in Vegas for almost four years and have been searching for a barbecue place that hits the mark like this. Safe to say the search is over. We'll definitely be back.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday, with 3 adults and 2 small children, and it was a pleasant experience. We arrived right at 1100, grabbed a table and proceeded to the ordering line. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. We ordered a few meats; a pound of Brisket, a pound of Pulled Pork, half pound of Tri Tip and a half rack of Baby Back Ribs. We then added sides; Potato Salad, Mac & Cheese, and Baked Beans. All the items were well prepared, fresh and very tasty. I would have preferred table service, but the workers were very friendly and prompt. The one issue we had was that they advertise a full bar, and we saw it. However, they had no one manning the bar while we were there. The beer was nice and cold from the ordering counter, but a margarita would have been nice. Overall, excellent BBQ.

Big B's Texas BBQ is much larger than you might expect when you first walk in. The setup is straightforward--you order and pay at the counter, then they bring the food out to your table. Drinks and utensils are self-serve, which I actually appreciate because it keeps things easy and casual. The space itself is very relaxed with huge tables that are perfect for groups, plus plenty of TVs that give it a laid-back vibe. It's the kind of place where you don't feel rushed, and it's easy to hang out for a while. Pricing felt like a great value for what you get--generous portions at a fair price. The food itself was solid BBQ. While I'm not the biggest American barbecue fan personally, I thought everything was flavorful and well done. A couple of things that weren't my favorite: the plastic silverware and cups. It's not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning if that kind of thing bothers you. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a comfortable spot with good food at a good value, and I can see it being a go-to for families or groups looking for a relaxed BBQ experience.

As this was a new place, every time I drove by I wanted to try it. I was surprised it was not overly crowded. The decor was full of Texas memorabilia such as flags and jerseys. It's the perfect place to bring the family to enjoy some good food and watch the games. You stood in line in a small maze and ordered your food from a counter. Things seem to run smoothly. I loved the bar area was separate as it was on the opposite side of the room. We ordered the Colossal potato and the brisket Po' boy sandwich that came with 2 sides' The brisket was cooked perfectly! Was moist and tender with tons of flavor! The table had bbq sauce and other fixings plus a roll of paper towels. The bread was extremely soft. We got the Mac and cheese which was creamy and delicious. The second side was homemade fries! Was not too greasy. The colossal potato loved up to its name and it included your choice of meat and I had the pulled pork. You had a choice of Mac and cheese or beans. I chose the beans. It was toasted and had a good amount of toppings with sour cream and cheese. I was not able to finish it. The owner greeted us at our table and asked how things were. That was a nice touch! If you want good bbq this is the spot! Much better than Famous Dave's and Rollin Smoke! The prices are very reasonable. The also offer BlueBell ice cream and a variety of desserts. Was too full to try them. Definitely will be back!

Baby back ribs, sliced turkey, hot links, brisket, rolls, pickles and onions and jalapeño. Delicious!

First time visiting this establishment. Amazing service! The bartender was chill and very helpful! Was recommended by a long time friend and it was great! The owner gave us some sample slices of tri tip that sold us on ordering 4 different types of meat to see how good everything was. Forget the cutlery and use your hands! The fatty brisket is butter! The baby back ribs were fall apart, the hot links had great snap and flavor, and the turkey was very tasty. Had a good spicy sauce and another super tasty sauce that was good on everything! Had to get extra sauce to go. The mac n cheese and green beans were so good even though we were stuffed we kept picking at them. Good vibes and atmosphere! Highly recommend this place!

We also spoke to a manager about the great service, which I did mention how dry the butternut squash was during the conversation. Apparently offering a different dish or removing the dish and taking it off the check isn't a thing anymore if food isn't up to standards. Or even firing up a new one. A little disappointed about that, but it is what it is.
