Well the young lady helping us was super nice and let us taste the coleslaw, which for me wasn't good. I'm a southern slaw person. I ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich with Mac N Cheese. My wife got the brisket combo. Both dinners were more than $50 total. To me that was way to pricey. The order took over 25minutes to get. Way too long for something is already been cooked. We had to take the order home to eat since it took so long. After opening the box first thing we noticed is our sides were missing. My wife had one of two sides at least. The tri- tip was bone dry. Even adding the sauce was actually pretty tasty. That was about it for us!!!! Hopefully they get this straight!!!!!

We had the tri tip combo and brisket combo. The beans and potato salad were really good. We got a side of pork ribs. The meat fell off the bone, and tasted okay. A few reasons for only a 3 star. 1. They didn't have any hot links 2. They didn't have any beef ribs 3. Although the brisket and tri tip had a decent flavor, it was really dry 4. One of beans in the combo plate had mostly juice and nothing else. 5. The tri tip plate had only 3 pieces of meat in it. And for the price we paid for everything including tip $102 was not worth it.

Secondly the chicken didn't have that much flavor but thankfully the slaw and sauce lift it up. Fries are excellent though, the seasoning on them is really nice. I went straight for the sandwich with a side of fries. I went for medium to test out the heat and it was very tasty. It had just enough heat to make me taste it but not overwhelm me. I could go up another level and be fine but I did really enjoy the flavor. The chicken was cooked very well, the sauce on the sandwich is tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. It takes a few minutes for an order which leads me to believe he's cooking to order and I'm all for that. Nice hot, fresh made to order food is worth the wait. It's really reasonably priced for what you get as well, I know I'll be visiting again in the future and recommend all spicy chicken loves come give it a try.

They come with a delicious corn muffin too. I can't believe I have not been eating here weekly. I have a new BBQ place from now on. Thanks Champs your the best

I guarantee you will not leave hungry from here, not sure you can tell from the pictures but it was a lot of food. Everything was good but my favorite was the pulled pork taco, the meat was tender and the coleslaw was a better pairing with this taco then the tri-tip. We had micheladas and they refreshing and only $5!!! Biggest improvement would be that the service kind of scattered and food was getting delivered to random tables before finding the right one. When I am hungry and it is happy hour will keep them in mind.

I've tried the kickin chicken grilled cheese, a burger, and the hangover burger with various sides like the garlic mashed potatoes, sausage links, and the chile verde Mac and cheese. Also I dislike the AI generated photos on the menu.

It's a little fast food joint on the side of the road that is plain and simple. When we stepped inside, they were quick to attend to us. Seating options are very limited, so you might be better off taking it to-go. Luckily, there was a table available for us and we sat inside. My burger tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked! Now the best part, the zucchini fries! I loved their zucchini fries. They're some of the best I've had. Really enjoyed my experience here! This new location is definitely a lot bigger than the one closest to my house. However, I find there's still a certain nostalgia with eating inside the train car and barbeque smoke filtering through. The visit left me disappointed with the customer service we received. The gal was not helpful at all and seemed irritated that I'm not familiar with how to order the meal combinations. This was quite a different experience from the lovely service I received not long ago at the White Lane location. At any rate, a little patience goes along way. Out of towners come to Salty's for the food. But great customer service will keep people coming back.
